Build a Tea Light Candle Holder

- I got a great deal on a used drill press so I tried it out on an easy project made from scrap walnut and some curly maple. This time the project is for candles and won't be turned into another shot glass holder. At least for now.

Premium project in my judgment.
I very much appreciated this video. Thanks for shop sounds vs background noise-track.
Any woods will do when that's what you have. I like the contrasting colors.
May God continue to bless you and your work as well as your family. Thank you
Very nice. A bit nervous about the flames and dry wood.
That's nice. Must be a new phenomenon. Hearing aid only picks up in tcoil and it must be loud on your end. Not sure why you're now having this issue as it's been the same forever.
That's a good way to secure the wood to the drill press. That's how I'm going to do it. Except I don't know about holding the last part with my hand. To afraid it'll somehow come out and yank my hand.
It's tricky but by that time I had a handle on it. Thanks for watching.
Excellent and very clever thank you I will do this I like very much 👌👌👌👌
Thank, fun project.
i guess I am kinda randomly asking but does anyone know a good place to stream newly released movies online?
@Brodie Moshe lately I have been using Flixzone. Just google for it :)
@Layton Franco Yup, I've been using flixzone for since april myself =)
@Layton Franco thanks, I signed up and it seems like they got a lot of movies there :D I really appreciate it!
Hi. I'd love to have a go at this. I have a 40mm Forstner bit which seems the right size for my tealights. What was the width and thickness of your wood - I'm thinking 45mm may be too small but 70mm may be a bit big? And what were the three heights for your pieces - the first looks as though it made a cube so presumably the same size as the width/thickness of the wood?
How did you drill into the endgrain of some hardwood (I presume) that easily? I tried the same with oak and pretty sure I damaged my forstner bit :(
Take it slow and don't try to bore out the hole in one plunge. Take breaks to let the bit cool off a bit. Sorry that happened man.
@@mediasawdust2458 thanks for the kind words. Ended up doing the job with a router anyway )
Any info on measurements of the wood or cuts?
I'm guessing the material is 2"x2" and whatever length you want.
is that a 1 3/8 forstner bnit?
1.5" for a standard tea light.
1, 5/8 fortsner bit?
@@Elpelon177, a 1 1/2 bit will produce perfect fit.
A few wotds would have made me stay but not today . Next
Thanks for watching anyway.
