    That's a nice tea light holder. I did some attempts to make some tea light holders last winter but I was not very successful.
    My widest forstner bit is only 25 or 30 mm. I had to use a 42 mm hole saw in my drill press. The wood was hard and I wanted to drill through
    the end grain. Maybe not the best solution with a 500 W drill press. It took ages and the result was not nice.
    I did not know there exist exact 38 mm Forstner bits. I'll try to get one. And I'll use my corded hand drill which has a little more power and some
    elbow grease at the next attempt.

      Drilling through end grain is very hard to do.

    Where did you get the briwax oil?
    Iv only seen the hard wax which you run on. Yours looked a lot better.

      Used drill presses can be found for under $100. They are a game-changer.

      i didnt buty the drill press btw.. so i used a drill and a 1 1/2" spade bit to make candle stands
