Oh my goodness, you have described my situation here in the United States! 25 years of marriage, myself a physician, my husband unemployed for more than 15 years except for army reserve duty, and I was the primary caregiver from the beginning. If your spouse refuses to get a full-time job, even if the kids are in school all day, is there no recourse for the working mother?
There is Paternity leave & has been for awhile - also the Family Law Court has not caught up with the Corporate woman who is also the primary carer - I know at least 3 women who were in that position & it wasnt considered re: Family Law Court Act 1975.
