@@DrHansBrewery I grabbed 1332 wyeast, sorta a fruity estered English ale. Using topez at bittering so looking forward to trying that! I'll let ya know how it turns out.
@@DrHansBrewery Finally got around to brewing this. Is delicious! Mine came out a dark brown, though. Maybe didn't have the dark malt in there for long enough? Did last 10 mins of mash and mash out / sparge.
@@hurcorh awesome, thanks for reporting. 10min should be enough. I use a coffegrinder for the roasted grains. Try that or add more next time. Cheers and thanks!
Looks great Doc. This might be the first video I've watched where someone dry hopped their IPA more than I do, lol. Cheers!

Where did you get the adapter for the drill? I have the same drill and the chuck is too small for the grain mill shank.
It came with the mil.
Thanks!
@@anthonyhernandez7694 you're welcome
What did you mention after the 200 grams of carapils? 200 grams of some other malt starting with M?
Melanodian malt

Grain grain to glass doc and it sounds amazing:)
Thanks, cheers!
Did you crush the oats too ?
No, you don't need to crush flaked oats (porridge oats).
You mentioned a Black IPA could have dark fruit flavor.....I think it could be good with plum, blackberry, dates or some other dark fruit added
What a wonderful idea. You should really brew that. And of course send me a bottle 😋
It's in the works!
Which yeast you used on this brew? Thanks!

Nice vid! That was some serious hoppage! What did the IBU end up at? Skål!
HI there, according to Beersmith around 55IBU´s, Skål!
Havregrynet är till för kronan eller ?
Ja för krona och kropp. Men det är absolut inget man måste ha i. Har gjort flera BIPOr utan.
