This is extremely disturbing purchase by WW. 😮 the program works IF you follow the instructions, exercise, attend meetings.
But it’s very easy to plateau and the medication might help that.
Trust me I know it’s hard to lose weight I myself struggle to lose weight, but this is not it. I will eat healthy, do some walking, drink more water. In a few years who knows what’s going to happen with this stuff. I will stick to what my own doctor tells me. Sometimes you can’t always want the easy way out.

Is this medication the one that WW is considering buying or is this a leap? It doesn’t quite make out who WW is considering.
There a world wide shortage and the big problem is people who want to lose 10 or 20lbs are using it because they want to be thinner not because of health. As well people with $money are able to buy it up and diabetics who actually need it to live can’t access it for 3-9months depending on where you live. People are trying to buy it online but there’s some shots that aren’t actually the ingredients as well as ones with black market opioids ect. Be very careful I’ve seen reports about this medicine and it is a medicine. So far patients who have been taking this for a while stop at their desired weight and rapidly gain back the weight plus more. It hasn’t been out that long so there’s no long term studies yet. I believe it came out around 2017 ish but I’m too tired to go check now.
Shortage has resolved... stop shaming people with Obesity that need the treatment.

I prescribe this to my patients all the time thanks👋in fact I’m advocating for people who are diabetic and need this medication to survive. My problem is people who need this can’t get it because people with money are buying it up to lose 10-20lbs who aren’t diabetic but want to lose weight.

You"re being dramatic. These are type 2 diabetic pts. All they need to do is eat better. They dont need it to survive lol type 1 need insulin to survive, yes.
@@pompommania actually they do need it type 2 diabetics have damaged ilet cells in their pancreases and damaged pancreases so to stop further damage they need the medicine. As well when not taking the medicine they are at greater risk of heart attacks, strokes, high blood pressure ect. People with type 2 also need to follow a diet and exercise it’s not a magic pill or injection. It’s a myth that all they need to do is eat healthier & exercise otherwise there would be very few type 2 diabetics. Would you like me to give your UA-cam handle to all my patients so you can give them advice?! I’m sure most of them have heard advice like yours for years. No one wants to have to take medication for life considering the cost and negative comments from uneducated people like you.
But if heath ins won’t cover prescription then what ?
I tried to pay by cash because I have Kaiser. They would not except me as a patient.

Sima sistani has betrayed weight watchers. Yes it’s hard to keep weight off but you can do it with the original weight watchers model not drugs.

I will never understand the direction that WW is promoting. These drugs can cause serious health problems such as bowel obstructions, diarrhea, stomach issues. Some people have died using these drugs from the dangerous side effects. What happened to healthy choices and exercise?

Sorry but some people need the help... the medication + WW behavioral modification can save lives... medications are def not for everyone but there are quite a few people who need a the help to get them to a better point in their weightloss journey.
Their Core program works, and if drugs are not for you, as they're not for me either, there's no need to get them. Now, if WW was to completely eliminate their Core program and only move on to prescription drugs, then and only then I would cancel my membership. Until then, why? Two weeks and 5 lbs gone just by following their plan. I'll take it!
