Took my time getting to the game and just reached this point. Don't know about the rest of y'all but for me, Infinite brought back just a little bit of that magic from the OG Halo.
What’s funny is given the time is took from his jump, the detonation and the pelicans distance he probably could’ve just had an easy pick up but nope instead chief said “weeee”
@@royshavrickPersonally I hated how in Halo 2 basically anything cool the chief did was done via cutscene. Like the scarab scene in Metropolis always felt so lame to me, it’s just fine one second then the cutscene turns on and somehow the scarab is dead. Compared to halo CE where basically anything cool the chief did was the player doing something cool, you rarely ever see him do crazy stuff in cutscenes.
Just a while ago i saw the view from the top the Stratosphere Tower in Las Vegas. To think how Master Chief had the will to jump over around at that height...

One thing 343 done right this trilogy was making Chief more of a badass they understand his character I jus wish they would focus more on Campaign stuff Infinite proved they can make a good campaign hunger will help em in future they are too cocky with 4 n 5
Amazing scene, in many ways a return to form for Chief. But the stakes are so goddamn low. Halo 2 had Chief jumping from space with a dirty bomb and landing on a battleship. This entire game feels like a fucking fart in the wind by comparison to the rest. Even 5.
So true. As much as ppl hated 5, I felt like 5 had more memorable high-stake action moments than infinite. But 343s writing is such a low bar that it isn't even a topic worth discussing

Same here man, when that og halo music started playing my entire body got goosebumps. The chief and halo are so iconic. Glad we were around for it ❤

Besides, Forerunner shit going boom can be extremely unpredictable yield-wise. He's certainly blown up enough of their stuff to have learned that.

presumably he dropped it. needed to increase surface area to slow his fall, couldnt with the gun.
