Hey Miller! My brother just showed me your channel a few weeks ago and I just wanted to say I really love it already! I especially like the catch and cook videos. Anyway, keep up the good work!
I think I mentioned this before, scuba diving in Jamaica, I was kneeling in the sand on the bottom when another diver swam up and pointed down next to me, I looked to see that my knee was a couple of feet from a stonefish. I didn't even notice it until he pointed it out. When I looked up he pointed again and there was a smaller one a few inches from the first, I didn't notice it either until he pointed at it. In Jamaica the local divers told me that they name the fish after the closest local hospital.
Woww the last time i saw one of thesee rockies was back when you tried to get baits for shark fishing and you were so much younger and so was i just watching you on my ipad while you tried your hardest pull him out and that’s the first video i’ve ever found you and got intrigued but sadly couldn’t catch up with your uploads because of school and trouble’s but just seeing you find stone fishes brought me back the nostalgia and joy i’ve had when i was a kid and im also quite impressed and glad that your still uploading. Thanks for the joys and smiles from my childhood miller it really meant alot to me back then and it still means alot to me now
I'll try and give you a simple answer. The tide rises which causes fish to swim closer to land. The water goes back out to the ocean which is known as low tide. Due to this the fish get trapped in the rock pools. So this creates easy food for the stonefish. All it has to do is camouflage near the rocks and the tide will do all the work. The fish become stuck and with no way out they become food for the stone fish. Another reason for the stonefish to be attracted to the tide pools is the big rocks. They act as camoflague and offer cover from sharks and other predators.
Ahh welcome to Australia where we have the deadliest snake, the deadliest fish, the deadliest octopus, the deadliest marine animal, the second deadliest spider and the most venomous land animal.
Dude do a centipede, spider and scorpion video (I know they are not the same family but it would be so cool for you to do a small but deadly video with spiders, centipedes, scorpions and other cool stuff
G’day Miller I live on the sunny coast. I am just looking for recommendation on what you think would be the best soft plastics to use for targeting the usual bread and butter species we have here. Thanks and keep up the great content mate. Cheers.
11:37 Bro You were very close to misjudging the angle of that spike in the sandal foam Another 1/4 of an inch and that was going right into your finger
@@MillerWilson i know i was laughing the whole time lol. umm kinda weird sponsor but at least you get sponsors. i know your channel is all outdoors but do u play video games?
Hi Miller, they was an excellent video with awesome content. Since stonefish release so much venom, do you know whether scientists routinely collect it for research and/or treatment for envenomation or diseases?
I haven’t seen this kid since he was like I don’t even know maybe 12-15 I mean I’ve watched him since he did all those catching cooks and helped stingray give birth
@@MillerWilson By the way I live in a place called Destin Florida in the United States the fishing is really good here maybe you could come down sometime and we could go out fishing. Hi Miller, now that stone fish is just too dangerous. Its hard to imagine stepping on 1.Are they only found aroundthe rocks like where you are filming? They blend in really to good. Can they be eaten?Of course I would think not.then another interesting question would be what is the food they eat out there in the ocean for their own survival?Be safe, watch your step, another good video.Thanks.Willard

What are these little landmines looking to eat in those rock pools? minnows? tiny crustaceans? What draws them to these shallows?
Exactly what you said mate, tiny crustaceans and especially small fish. Sit there camouflaged until some cruise right by and then SMACK!
