Good riding Frank, I'm sure the lightweight Honda wasn't performing its best with the heavy load tied to the back in the sand. Beautiful country too, the 790 would have been ideal but you did great running what you had and still had a blast, maybe even more of an adventure on the little Honda.

Hello Dave, Travis, the other fellow with us was on a DRZ400 SM with knobs. His bike did very well. He was using dualsport bags with better packing. I need to invest in some DS luggage before I do this again! - Frank
@@OneOldManRiding have you ever considered a DR400? Interested to see the bags on the bike when you get them. I run the Nelson Rigg rg20’s on the dual sports for years but liking the rhinowalks that you have.

Hello Rob, I was fortunate to be on a good bike for it, if a little bit overloaded. The Honda does not handle camping gear as well as the Mighty DR650! - Frank

Ha! Both my ADV bikes were down! I was on my 2014 Honda dualsport. It was all that was running at the time! - Frank
