Hello Jeremy, just an opinion Sir. I have never found the Gen 2 seat unbearable; I just never find it as comfy as the Gen 1. The Gen 1 seat is absolutely the mist comfortable OEM seat I have owned. Thank you for stopping by and commenting! - Frank

@OneOldManRiding I know the gen 1 is comfortable, similar to my fz6s honestly, but I would never go back to a gen 1 after owning the gen 2. I do ride them hard though which is why I appreciate the gen 2 so much. It is a proper sport bike but comfortable enough to ride high milage!

It was a great ride Duke, job well done! You can usually grab an action cam for very little on Facebook marketplace. New models come out every year, and folks sell the old ones. Even though very little features change year to year. - Frank

Hello Greg, for mine it is! My 790 is actually clean! I went to the Bearded Grump school and did clean it properly before putting it away for the winter. It's never been exposed to our slated roads, so it's clean and in storage! - Frank

Hello Dave, the error went off the dash, and it started to generate enough power about an hour and a half in. I have not ridden the bike since this ride as I brought to to Tennessee. I am hoping it was the bitter cold! Though stator issues in high mileage 399s is not unheard of. - Frank

@@OneOldManRiding Your 390 loves you and fixed itself, that's loyalty. The 2025 KTM390's are a really a nice-looking machine, I like what they did with it.
