I love the faces of people reacting to Electric Callboy for the first time. "What the hell is going on? Am i dreaming? Was there acid in my water?" :D Welcome to the Electric Callboy rabbithole.
This band is the best thing I discovered in 2022. They have videos for 8 of the 10 songs from their album Techno. All worth a watch. Great musicians that do not take themselves too seriously. Seeing them in August and expecting one big party.
Your confusion was priceless ♥ A wild ride, wasn't it? 😁 Nobody keeps poker face when CHOOCHOO breakdown gets him 🤣 Hope you'll go deeper into this fantastic rabbit hole, reacting to "Hypa Hypa", "We Got the Moves" and "Pump IT" 😁 Enjoy and have a fantastic day! 😎
meaningfullyvacant: ... I don't know what just happened... that was kinda one of the more shocking surprises... EC: You successfully completed the warm-up exercise! Founded in 2010 (as Eskimo Callboy) they were a more or less standard metalcore band for almost 10 years, with a mostly humorous attempt though. By the beginning of 2020, the original lead vocalist Sushi left to found a new project named Ghostkid. They casted Nico as the new clean singer and decided to introduce him to the fans with an over the top, all in, no holds barred song and video, which was Hypa Hypa (mission accomplished I guess). The rest is partycore history. While most of their material since is uplifting electronicore like this, every now and then they throw in a more serious / close to normal song, sometimes even in a completely different genre. Hypa Hypa is probably the place to go next, to see where all the *hype* (nobody ever said this before 😉) started. If you prefer something less comedic next, Mindreader, which is also from the latest album Tekkno.
Electric Callboy (formerly Eskimo Callboy) blew up when their music video for Hypa Hypa went viral. They keep releasing hilarious videos with amazing music. You also need to check out We Got the Moves, Pump It, Spaceman and MC Thunder I & II. They are such a fun group! I know you'll have a blast exploring their other songs. I loved your reaction, you could tell that you liked it but were also perplexed! 😸
Moin!!. greetings from north Germany 👍 Welcome in the world of Electric Callboy. Thats a German band. Check more,.... Get the move, hypa hypa, spaceman, pump it 👍👍 Greetings from Germany All lekerts un best ut noordduitsland👍
I have just been reading some poetry by Dylan Thomas His Collected Poems and I was wondering if your tattoo "Do Not Go Gentle..." (I couldn't see the rest) was a reference to the Dylan Thomas poem "Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night" with its classic line / refrain "Rage, rage against the dying of the light." That may be a bit nosy but it just struck me...
"We Got The Moves", "Pump It!" and "Hurrikan" are definitely worth a look. I would also suggest "Pizza Homicide" from "Samurai Pizza Cats". It features Nico Sallach from Electric Callboy.
I see you’ve done more on them but as another comment said…welcome to the EC rabbit hole. Cannot wait to see them live at Blue Ridge Rock Fest in September. They pulled out last year last minute due to an illness but are coming back.
I suggest you go back and sample "Hypa Hypa." Metaphorically, "Hypa Hypa" -- is like their "The Hobbit." You jumped-in at release of "Return of the King." It'll make more sense.
Okay, I tried to make it through this song but my head hurt so I muted it. Not my cup of tea I guess. If you want to see REAL electric music, check out Electric Light Orchestra (ELO), live at Wembley Stadium 2017. This was a concert that featured many of the bands songs that were hits when musicians actually played music themselves and had good singing voices. The accompanying orchestra helps as well. They also had cool electric stage setups and light shows. The band members are now in their 70's, but their music and lyrics are as clear as they were in the 1970's when the band was amazingly popular. Evil Woman, Turn to Stone and Living Thing are some of my favorites but the best song is Don't Bring Me Down. The live concert is fun, the people are pumped up and dancing, the band is having a great time. After all these years, there is very little difference between the live version and the studio version of these classic rock songs. Give ELO a try.

Ah the eyes of someone who has seen/heard EC for the first time. Should you laugh, dance, sing with it? What is going on?
That is Electric Callboy!

EC is a whole rabbit hole by themselves. Every video is amazing

What a song! So glad you reacted to it! Now you can keep reacting to them!
or to say it with EC: "There is a whole new world that you need to explore"
I have just been reading some poetry
by Dylan Thomas
His Collected Poems
and I was wondering
if your tattoo "Do Not Go Gentle..."
(I couldn't see the rest)
was a reference to the Dylan Thomas poem
"Do Not Go Gentle into that Good Night"
with its classic line / refrain
"Rage, rage against the dying of the light."
That may be a bit nosy but it just struck me...
so "electic callboy - hypa hypa" would fit pretty well to your "synthwave sun" backround. :)
Number one most fun band of the last few years. Hypa Hypa and We Got The Moves are must-watch experiences.
Yesss. Here for your EC journey!!
This band has so much talent. All their music videos are produced by The Schillo Brothers - one of the guitarists and his brother. :-)
"We Got The Moves", "Pump It!" and "Hurrikan" are definitely worth a look. I would also suggest "Pizza Homicide" from "Samurai Pizza Cats". It features Nico Sallach from Electric Callboy.
Great reaction! I have never heard of them before so I was pretty much echoing your faces LOL
Try Electric Callboy - "We Got The Moves" or other stuff like "Mindreader" and older songs "Crystals".
Try hypa hypa considering your background it will be a perfect fit 😉
Saw them live this past Friday night, it was the best liveshow I ever been to :D so much fun!
The face you made at the Choo Choo part was hilarious.
I see you’ve done more on them but as another comment said…welcome to the EC rabbit hole. Cannot wait to see them live at Blue Ridge Rock Fest in September. They pulled out last year last minute due to an illness but are coming back.
It kinda all started with a new singer and a new Single named "Hypa Hypa". Maybe you can start there and move on to We got the moves and Pump it ;)
your reaction is epic.
Welcome to the rabbit hole.
Boy Band Metal!
Omfg lol hypa hype and spaceman and we got then moves. Hurrikann a short funny one lol.
Hahahahahahahaa 🤣🤣🤭🤭🤣
Awesome 👊🤟🤘
Seeing the left side of your room, you might like Hypa Hypa from them next :D
Jihhhaaaa we are german and funny.. 😅 🤘👌🔥🎸
Why did you not hear about Electric Callboy before? Well, seems you’re living at the dark side of the moon. 😅
Ok malmoa...😂
if you're into heavier music, then you should check out Hurrikan!!! You'll be in for a surprise... 😂
You really gotta get to HURRIKAN
I suggest you go back and sample "Hypa Hypa." Metaphorically, "Hypa Hypa" -- is like their "The Hobbit." You jumped-in at release of "Return of the King." It'll make more sense.
Nice reaction, subsc ;) and like
