It's nice to see that they trying to take care of the crew members now
HR needs to give you commission for helping recruitment. You make being an RC crew member seem super amazing.
Wow! That bed placement is amazing for a shared crew cabin. Good on RC for rethinking these spaces.
So many shoes and sandals!!! 😂😂😂😂
Congrats to Connie
The storage is fantastic and so is the bed setup. Great job Royal👏🏻
Cabin setup looks like they are getting better at designing spaces for people. I like how the beds are separated from each other.
I would prefer the solo cabin, but I'm a private person. I'm glad that Royal Caribbean gave the crew really nice areas on Icon to hang out and eat. It kinda makes up for the small cabins.
I spent 20 years in the NAVY and would love to have a cabin as nice as this. Thanks for the video.
I have to say - this is a very efficient use of space.
Wow! The bed layout is a great improvement!
You're coming up on 100K! I haven't missed any since the pandemic. And thank you for showing us the crew side of things. Hi Connie!
he's been at like 80,000 ish for many months :(
It is so much nicer than the regular ones! As a former crew member I wish I had one of these back in the day! And it truly was one of the best times to have a fun cabin mate and cabin parties back then!
thanks for your videos again chris...
That's cool crew cabin, especially with the beds turned 90°. That chest of drawers was great!
It was nice meeting you in person yesterday on the Icon Chris. You definitely helped my family and I make a decision to sail on the Icon of the Seas, and it has been the best cruise ever! We literally booked again for next year. Thanks for your vlog, and keep doing what you are doing. 👍🏽
I would much prefer the Single Shared Cabin, even though it has smaller quarters, as it offers maximum privacy!
Great storage solutions and set up of 2 beds vs the traditional bunk beds I've seen in your videos
The shared cabin is definitely better than on other classes of ship; however, I personally would like a single share as I am obsessive about cleanliness
Oh and Chris you share the room with her also
Naughty boy
Good to see your doing good my boy
Single cabin all the way
I’ve stumbled on your channel. Will be browsing all your videos and looking into where I could find contacts.
Living the ship life has definitely affected your definition of spacious 😅
It looks bigger than the standard crew cabin. Thanks for the tour
Only thing I like about Royal Caribbean they know how to take care of their employees. Lots of room for you guys and storage spaces.
Big cabin inded Chris
Great video Chris! Love this shared cabin. It just seems so much roomier than past ships.
Thank you, Chris.
Those crew cabins are so damn tight looking and everyone should have a non-shared cabin.
exactly.
What a great crew cabin, love the layout, so cozy💕
Impressive.
The word "OUR" and seeing you and Connie in the same image made me feel like Chris got hooked up with Connie.
Thanks for sharing this with us Chris ❤
Awesome, unique “crews” view !!
Keep ‘em comin’
Looks great ❤
Looks cozy.
Engaged my friend!
Love the content!
I would. definitely want a solo cabin just for privacy.
Very nice, great job RC
Really interesting!
Huge huh?! I had a cabin on inside of ship, don't need a window because of you go up top or ocean side, you're SURROUNDED BY WATER AND VIEW
Just curious how often do you normally have crew events? I have to interviews next week for two different companies and just trying to learn as much as I can before then. Thanks for the videos there awesome to watch
shared crew cabins are just that, when I worked/gigged on Princess we had larger shared cabins equivalent to guests inside cabin ...closets were huge 2 sides and bathrooms large and it was bunk beds top/bottom ...desk, refrig etc. tv phones etc.
I had to chuckle. The space is relatively similar in size to the shared officer's staterooms aboard US Navy Warships back in the 80's while I was serving on active duty. The layout, in our staterooms, however was not necessarily as efficient.
♥ Home on the Seas ❤ So cool
I like the bed configuration
WOW nice 😊
Looks so big and nice. Better then when I was in the US Navy.
And I just subscribed to Connie’s channel
interesting!
That's actually bigger than a college dorm room including space. From my experience in moving "kids" in.
Have you heard if utopia will get the new cabin designs or the old
Happy Wednesday Chris!!!
You've not got me needing to chat with the designer of the crew quarters. I need to know the thinking of why they split the bunks apart? 😉
That said I do like it. 👍👍
And I look forward to the couples cabin tour.
Hope all is going smoothly there on the Icon. 😃😃
Pretty good size
Connie is stunningly beautiful. Great video.
Most probably that's his FUBU ... Hehehehe
Looks like plenty of space for 2 people
❤ nice 👌
How does it work with two TV's? Do they wear headphones or rely on Closed Captions?
Ahoy matey - where do I sign up for duty? 🚢 Looks like fun, but I’m sure there’s a lot of work involved.
Thank you for the comparison videos. As much as I am an easy person to get along with, I would prefer the single share cabin. I am a bit claustrophobic so I am not sure I could manage being a crew member unless I had the captains cabin. LOL
I think its ok, funny how the “top” bunk is the one that sucked on other cabins, but I honesty would prefer the higher one in that room. I would absolutely hate having my legs or head stuck in that little area that looks like a crawl space for the bottom one. I do find it odd though that the stair case leads to an area where there is storage and not 100% to the bed itself. It’s Just a very odd layout. I like the single share one better.
Excellent video! It surprises me that a shared room bathroom is larger because I would not assume that two people would be in there at once. I'd rather have the extra square footage in the living quarters! Great to see Connie!
I wouldn't want the bathroom to be any smaller than it is, and Chris's bathroom is shared with the cabin next door, which I think makes it look smaller than it is.
@@aussiejohn5835 Excellent point!
I hope the headphones hook up to the TVs.
Hello, i really want to know that, how can i sign up to a ship?
Mini fridge is missing??
where are the safe in the room also are you allow to keep the cash thad customer gift you . pedro
In my ship right now, all crew cabins have a fridge.
I would definitely rather have a smaller cabin all to myself, I wouldn’t want to share a room.
Bathroom?
Hey, it's part of life. :)
Chris, how about more port views?
Wow they really designed the crew cabins much better on the Icon in respect to storage. I have to admit looking at your single cabin. It reminded me of Jail 😂but with good storage.
single cabin for me.
Depends on how cute and how I click with my cabin mate.
I'd share a cabin with Connie no problem...lol
Can u bring your dogs on board
Wts Ur linked in?
Sir... you better be doing something with Connie.....
Chris!!!!!@
Nice looking girl friend my boy
You did not mention her channel name. :(
I prefer privacy so a solo would be my pick
:)
Its huge !!!!
surprise that the showers are not enclosed.
Cool
😊
The size of a prison cell 😅and no I have been to prison I know someone in a prison
Do they get paid well and fed great food in prison? Still more room than we get on Navy ships.
I would say there had to be women designing the cabins on the new ship/boat. due to using the space wisely . space wasn't wasted in the new ship that was in the old ships.this set up makes you feel more homey in bed. you don't have someone just above you. especially if they get up and down a lot or have a different schedule then you.
she is hot!!!!!!
Cruise Lines just dump sick passengers in foreign countries 😂🎉
What are they supposed to do with them? Deny them proper medical care?
Too much junky stuff around
