Doesn’t matter what size the cabin is, as long as you don’t have to share, best thing ever for crew. Would of loved a solo cabin when I was on ships

I could definitely live in a space like this, especially when you're just chilling and sleeping there. Youre on a floating city with so many spaces and places to hang out.

This is the best single share cabin yet! The design is so good, incredibly functional. , The bed looks bigger and the storage is amazing for such a small space. Very livable, considering that all the other crew areas are so spacious,

IDK how staff does it. Some work 10 hour days , 7 days a week, for not a lot of money, and still manage to smile at passengers and other crew members. Some countries and its citizens don't appreciate the lives they are given.

I'd be ok if I was travelling solo with this space. I'd be out most of the time and just be back to sleep. Very impressed with the functional design and lots of storage.

I love in a tractor trailer almost 80% of the year. This space is bigger than my current situation (my job) so I could definitely make this space work.

Hey Chris. Everyone talks about how beautiful and how large Icon is. It does seem everyone forgets or glosses over how small the rooms are. Everyone's room seems a bit smaller. Even the suits look like they were shoe horned in to a tiny space. Guess the designers really wanted to up the body count. Love your content. Keep up the great work.

This is a really nice cabin, especially being a private cabin. Much better than any berthing space I had to stay in when deployed aboard US Navy ships (as a Marine). We had racks stacked four high and had a small locker about 18 inches square and maybe 24 inches deep. Staying in this during your time off work is a great place.
My brother as long you’re not sharing that’s luxury to me….. don’t complain coz am sharing….. trust me my guy!!!!… just appreciate period

What if you need to go to the bathroom but your mate is in there already. Is there one down the hall too? And why don't you get a glass shower like the guests staterooms have?

Seems nice enough and perfectly adequate for a single occupant. Certainly larger than a quarter of the 4 berth passenger cabin we had on a cruise back in the 90s. Probably not really intended for spending a lot of time in. Most crew members aren’t UA-cam stars like Chris Wong.

Nice hair cut! Thanks for the room tour. Cabin is well organized but a bit small. Luckily the common areas you showed us are so nice and it's great you don't have to share a room! I think i'd have to decorate it with a few pictures and add a little bit of color.

This is SO much better than the Oasis single share I lived in. The Oasis ones are a safety hazard, having to put a chair in front of the door to get into bed.

I totally can stay in the room for 1 year, love the layout and storage and privacy. The bed looks super comfy after long hard day.

Wow that cabin is tiny. Do they give you a safe to store your valuables? Do you have to clean your own cabin or do housekeeping clean it?
I believe the spot he has his wash bag you can put a lock on it.
They clean their own rooms and have inspections

The only down side for me was that tiny chair for that very low desk. I understand the economy of space but I'd prefer a fold down desk from the wall at a higher level. But I get what they were after. Otherwise, a pretty good set-up. At least you don't have to share. Having sail 32 years in the American Merchant Marines, I know what it's like to spend a few months in a small room; just not that small. Good stuff, Chris. Missed a few videos, will have to catch up. Thanks.

Yeah dude no share is the bomb!! I did a couple of contracts in a share cabin and the stories ....😂😂 for those who complain about size etc... FREE FOOD FREE HOUSING FREE WORLD TRAVEL & PAID !!! Plus world access network etc.... enjoy

That bed looks so comfortable. Like a little nook to relax in. True, the cabin isn't exactly big, but I'd probably be comfortable in there. Not sure if I'd feel the same after 6 months though.
