The third method (traditional way) is actually the best because it contain 100% oil (very dark oil) whereas in the other water is added so they are literally diluted hence they are less pure despite what the color seems to indicate.
It's true that more product is obtained with the first 2 methods (because water is added) but it won't be high in the properties you're looking for.
With the third, less is obtained so it requires more palm nuts to have a good quantity but the final product is highly concentrated, very rich and this is better to rip the maximum of benefit from this wonderful oil.
Well actually, the method to use depends on what you want to use it for, 1st and the 2nd method are best for cooking while the 3rd method is for medical application.

Water and oil will never mix, so that's not true. The first 2 methods produce very good oil. The 3rd method is burned, so there will be chemical changes in composition and taste.

The second method seems straight forward but really hard ooo.. It's not easy to squeeze out oil from Granule-like particles , I would prefer the first one because it is cold pressed. Thanks ma'am. I love the video.

Another hack is to leave the grinded mixture in the fridge for some hours.The oil on top congeals then it is easy to scoop out.

But in Ghana some people use the third method but grind the toasted kennel into paste and use hot water in mixing and cooking.

Good evening ma. I tried the first method and it came out very well. However I tried it again but the commercial engine I used didn't grind it well at all, it was as if he inly got the seed. I got very little oil. And the oil was way darker than usual, do you think its the bad grinding that also affected the colour?
The first one yields more but its not as pure as the 2nd. I think illd prefer the 2nd. I've been using the 2nd method and I'll stick to it
