- Unfortunately this video lost the last half hour due to an accidental effect that went in on the editing process, however I went ahead and posted it so that you could see the majority of the process and how lovely they turned out. My apologies for the mistake. I wasn’t able to correct it.
These gorgeous butterflies are so fun to make and entirely made from scratch with no molds...What?????? That's true, no molds. Come along with me and learn to use UV Resin with no molds, just an object in the shape you want to make. The white butterflies used to make the butterflies were purchased on Amazon and the material is a plastic, so the resin comes right away from it once you cure it. What a concept!!!! It doesn't get any better than this. The blue butterfly is already sold but the smaller pink one is available in my Etsy Shop but I'm sure it won't be there for long. I added rub on decals for the floral part of the butterflies and Diamond Dust or Glass Glitter for that shimmering look. Just gorgeous. If you are new with using UV Resin, please be sure to purchase a black light for nails in order to cure the resin. You can also cure it in the sunlight, outdoors by placing your items in direct sunlight for approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour. This works great in the summertime, however you may want to place a screen over the top to prevent bugs from being cured into the resin.

I know Karen. I’m so sorry. My editing program does d some kind of zoom which I didn’t see until after I put it up on UA-cam, and I was unable to revert it back to original picture in that last thirty minutes or so. I’m really bummed because they turned out so beautiful. So sorry. I’m going to try and do a new video on these.

Can you show how you do the butterfly from scratch? How you start everything? Flower on the plastic butterfly and the resin? The flower stayed on the resin when you pulled the plastic butterfly off so how does that process work?
