I starting doing resin jewelry 8 years ago. You are the first person that I've seen using pastels! They make the perfect colorant for resin that doesn't alter the resin.
Wow your talented i love the earrings there beautiful i would love to do these but i hate uv resin love regular resin and my hands won't work for something so intricate but i love it so beautiful i would love to see more of your videos
So excited that I found your channel today! I just ordered a resin kit and am looking forward to making projects to sell and gift giving! Of course I subscribed!!!
I've just recently discovered your tutorials, Allison, and I'm so glad I did. You do such an excellent job & these earrings are just beautiful! Great tips! 💗💗💗
Thanks so much for such a clear tutorial. I have made a pair of these in blue and yellow and found that the round drills from the diamond art craft are perfect size for the centres.😊
WOW this is totally me. I am purchasing everything in your list and making them. I will let you know how badly I mess 'em up LOL ♥ or how beautiful they turn out!!! Ty for a wonderful tutorial.
I love how you have made these lovely little flowers. As I watched the video I wondered if it might be easier, instead of using circular jump rings, to use the tear drop rings on the back between two of the pedals. You would have more surface to attach the two together. Just a thought.
I just love these earrings I am going to try them after i buy the resin with me being a beginner do you think i can do them it look easy you are a great teacher thank you so much for this video
You all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account..? I was stupid lost the account password. I love any tips you can offer me!
@Ledger Malakai I really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take quite some time so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Beautiful I love the idea that you have the type of resin you don't have to mix to harden under the UV which I'll be searching for that particular brand I have some basic blanks I'll be practicing on Want to get back into jewelry making Got to have some kind of hobby for the weekends
They are extremely gorgeous! I do wish that you used a tape that was a solid color so that we could actually see what you were doing. I use resin tape and it is a solid color so that people can see what I am doing.
Allison, this is just another one of your fantastic, inspiring video tutorials! I haven't seen any of your videos lately, are you still making them? I hope so♥
very nice tutorial Alison ... I been watching a number of these girls from Japan doing resin work, quite a few of them do it in a backroom right at the market places because, yes the UV resin cures so quickly ...quite fascinating
Katie Gordon you can use any type of tape that isn’t super sticky. Washi tape is removable, even from paper so its ideal. If you use a tape that’s super sticky, it will leave a sticky residue, which you absolutely don’t want 😔
I really like this tutorial and looks so easy to do with all the right tools and colors of your choice. These earrings are absolutely beautiful and sparkly!!
Julia Disorda Thank you 😊 You carefully scrape the chalk with a razor. You want very fine powder from it. I will be doing a tutorial soon on the process 💜
Hi Alison my name this Raquel I live in Puerto Rico and just wanted to say how wonderful is your tutorial I am a beginner in resin and need a lot of help thank you for your tutorial where do buy the chalk for the resin
@Raquel Reyes I just came across this tutorial in 2022 and was wondering about the chalk, too. I found several chalk pastels listed on Amazon but the Sargent Art Colored Square Chalk Pastels look a lot like the one that Alison used in the video. The 24 count was $12.99.
I tried this idea and just mentioning that the finding being used tarnish once the flower has the resin in. I made quite a few but after a month the resin made the silver colour tarnish brown. Can you tell me why this happened. Would appreciate your comment.
Have you considered using reverse tweezers? They’re the ones you have to squeeze to open. Your tutorial is is fascinating! I’d be proud to wear those earrings! 🌹❣️
you have beautiful work and you make your tutorials very understandable, many dont, but i have a ? what is the differance between regular alcohol ink and the pearls? Is it just that alcohol is mostly transparent, and the pearls arent? Thank you in advance and you have a new subscriber..Merry Christmas
Your videos have made me eager to try UV resin. How do you determine how long to cure each piece? I notice you do different times at different stages. Can you over-cure the resin?
Susan Roos Awe, Thank you! 💜 I got it quite awhile ago, so I don’t remember where. But I also have this one and it works just as good. www.chewy.com/simple-solution-spot-spotter-hd-uv/dp/56105
Neat. I would use regular resin though even meaning that it would require more patience. :) I think I am one of a only a few most likely that doesn't like UV resin. :p
Not sure how I found your channel and this video. But I enjoyed watching it and the flower earrings. ❤
Love how well you explain things thank you I just bought uv resin haven’t started so you have given me great ideas

The shirt you had on in this video matches the pants I have on while watching this. Great minds think alike. 😊 Nice job on the jewelry. Beautiful.
Loved this!
Good tutorial. Although using a tape with such a bold pattern makes it difficult to really see the "petals".
Darling little earrings! Thanks for sharing!🐱

Is there a reason to put them on washing tape rather than other tape
Katie Gordon you can use any type of tape that isn’t super sticky. Washi tape is removable, even from paper so its ideal. If you use a tape that’s super sticky, it will leave a sticky residue, which you absolutely don’t want 😔
@@ThinkingOutsideTheBox thanks never bought washi tape always though it was for the pattern

Your videos have made me eager to try UV resin. How do you determine how long to cure each piece? I notice you do different times at different stages. Can you over-cure the resin?
Thanks Alison. earrings are gorgeous but they look a little fragile. how strong are they? 💜💜💜💜
What exactly is born pretty? Glitter? Mica? Both? Thanks for the great tutorial!
Allison, you are the resin queen. UV flashlight where did you get it.
Susan Roos Awe, Thank you! 💜
I got it quite awhile ago, so I don’t remember where. But I also have this one and it works just as good. www.chewy.com/simple-solution-spot-spotter-hd-uv/dp/56105
Chaulk.. did she scrape it off or did she use the sponge tip?? I'm a bit slow...didn't catch that bit...lol AWESOME tutorial!
Have you tried using the masking tape for holding the petals?
Neat. I would use regular resin though even meaning that it would require more patience. :) I think I am one of a only a few most likely that doesn't like UV resin. :p
BlackCat2 I like 2 part also but this project would take days if not a week to finish.
Absolutely stunning. Are these heavy earrings?
