i literally never ever comment on youtube but i really want you to know how reassuring your vlogs are. seeing you do mundane things and show your normal life filled with ups and downs shows sincerity and strength. your everyday life also makes adulting seem less intimidating lol. i thank you for creating this safe space and wish you the best🫀
i usually don't comment but, i have to let you know that i've gotten so many compliments on your necklace!! it's literally my favourite piece of jewelry so thank you so much for designing it!
Hi Emmie ❤❤ I've been going through a breakup recently and your videos have been so comforting, as someone who also deals with anxiety and hates living in a big city your channel has become my oasis and you are truly my comfort person 🥺❤️ I was wondering if you would ever be open to making a video talking more about your concussion recovery and how you got through things both physically and mentally! I've been dealing with PCS for the past two years and it's been really difficult. Thank you again for being a wonderful person on here
OMG the ladies's paradise is such an amazing french classic !!! i'm french and i'm just so happy for you to ba able to discover this major piece of french culture 💞💞
Emma, your video is literally the soul of my day. I typically do not comment on videos and not very active on social but think I should convey my gratitude to you and your awesome videos for making my day so cozy and comforting and giving me the energy to power through the day!
Hi Emma! I'm french and Emile Zola is my favorite author, I'm so happy you love the book! Zola has wrote a lot of books, and the one you're reading is part of a series of 20 books that follow a large family with all the generations. It's called the Rougon-Macquart (name of the family). And each of those 20 books are AMAZING. I'm reading them in order, I've read 16 so far and I'm in love. You should see if other of those books are translated in English! ❤
As a non-native English speaker I was intimidated by classic novels but because of you , i started reading them and I'm glad i did , not only i enjoy the stories (I found out i love Gothic literature) i also improve my English, thanks a lot emmie ❤
This really motivated me to get out of my rut and take care of myself & my apartment. Thank you. I have been feeling so depressed. It‘s been really hard to get anything done. 😢
Your vlogs have such an healing effect on me emmie! I’m at a time in my life where I feel very lonely even though I’ve got a lot of projects going on, and often I found myself feeling rather overwhelmed but with nobody to turn to. Watching your videos make me feel grounded and serene within myself, like I’m catching up with a long time friend that lives just a bit far away from me 🥹 I don’t mean to go super parasocial on you, but you must find pride and satisfaction in the knowledge that you managed to create a community this wide and welcoming and comforting to many 🧡 thank you (and many kisses to calcifer and grendel!!)
Love these cozy vlogs! Please keep including running content 😊 I’m a fellow book lover who is also trying to get back into running after having 2 kids, so you’re inspiring me!
I truly love your productive vlogs!!!! I am a very lazy person and the best way to get me moving is through inspiration. So thank you so much Emma for the inspiration:)
Yes, running content!! I took up running a little over a year ago and i ran my first 5k race this August with my aunt. It was so fun! Make sure you eat enough to keep up with the activity. Also as far as distance goes, don’t be afraid to take a walk break if you need to or run slow. Slow is just as good if you’re going for distance especially when you’re newer at running. Keep it up, you can do it!
I discovered your channel a month or so ago and have really been enjoying your videos. They've been helping me through a rough couple of months with depressive moods (along with therapy etc). I've recently decided to start running as it's supposedly a very good remedy against depression, so running content would perfect!
Kept this for Sunday cooking sesh and it doesn’t disappoint ❤️ I’ve been cooking with you by my side for over a year now and I love it so much . Thank you
Each time I'm watching one of your vlogs late (cause kids and life...) I hope you have a new one posted so I can binge watch :D Such a relaxing, warm and kind presence you have.
Id love more running content! I’m actually planning on running a half marathon next year too. You’re too relatable, the hardest thing about it is literally your entire body telling you to stop running hahahah. What really helped me was to make the journey more enjoyable, I usually listen to a cute audiobook and just keep telling myself to enjoy the nature and the road and let the kilometers pass me by. Also setting a time to keep running instead of a certain km goal is helpful sometimes :)
Tomorrow is my birthday so I'll take this as an early present! Thank you Emma for all your cozy content, it's been helping me survive midterm season ❤️🩹
Yeah - some running content will def interest me and likely some others too. I used to do some cross country for a year or so, but it's been a while and I'm not getting any younger, I tell ya! Honestly, anything you add to your bookish content is so nice to watch. Think of all the nature content you could capture - ooh ooh ooh
Love how I also just re-started my running journey too! I would really like if you could update us on your half-marathon routine. Thank you for this vlog Emma!
Omg thailand is on the top of my bucket list as well ! Maybe you could host a little group tour thing with your subscribers like I've seen some other youtubers do (ofc if you'd be comfortable with it). I would join if I have enough saved up by then. It would be so fun to travel with fellow bookwormies 😭❤
Emma! Literally thank you so much! I got so excited this morning when I saw your notification of your video pop up at work! You’re the best content creator hands down!
Oh what a great view you'll have when it starts snowing! 😍 ❄ So happy (and not surprised at all) to see you enjoying Zola so much. I haven't read that one (always in French for Zola) but I've already read 5 in the Rougon-Macquart series. Enjoy!❤
good luck with your half marathon training! I just finished my half marathon training yesterday and did my 21 km. I've always been a runner but never went above ~10k, so it was pretty tough and I'm kinda glad it's over haha. I would love to see updates and progess on your running journey, but don't stress yourself for our sake - running should be a You-Project in my opinion, and it can get overwhelming if you put too much pressure on yourself :)
I am so glad you liked the Ladies' paradise! Saw so many differing and interesting opinions on the book club chats! But glad you liked it-- even gave it 5 stars! 😊
I'm doing a Read Around The World challenge too! I started it alphabetically this year and am currently at Bahrain. Invisible Countries: Journeys to the Edge of Nationhood by Joshua Keating is a good nonfiction about countries that aren't legally recognized by the UN and their fight for independence. After reading that, I added every 'invisible country' to my list 💜
Are you back on the coffee? I'm more of a tea drinker, but really enjoy coffee in autumn in particular! Reading Northanger Abbey right now; it's silly, funny, and really much ado about nothing. Perfect.
you remind me of koo hye sun from boys over flowers. i think it's the eyes and the depth. calm like a river and stillness before the storm but yet the fire of the flame❤
Some running content would be really motivating! I got back into running in July, started with 3 kilometers but last week I ran 5! I don't really follow any plan, I just make sure to run once a week and I either maintain my distance or increase it a bit. It's been working so far, but I totally relate to what you've described - I used to have the same inner monologue when I ran 😅 Now I just try to focus on the music or the audiobook I'm listening to and forget about what I'm doing 😂
Emma you have a beautiful voice. I wonder if you might like reading passages from favorite books on your ASMR channel. Also, "read with me" videos are nice. They make reading alone less lonely. ... Just thoughts. Thank you always for your wonderful videos!
Hi Emmie! I'm also training for a half-marathon (just for the fun of it haha not signed up for a race or anything) I'd love to see more content about that c:
It might be fun to do a few 5k or 10k runs. We have several of them this time of year down here in the states. I'm not a runner, but I like the concept. 😁
Emma, I recently read two books by the Australian author Charlotte McConaghy, called Migrations and Once There Were Wolves. I really liked them, especially Once There Were Wolves. She cares a lot about nature, animals, the environment, and she delves a lot on trauma as well. Her books are set in remote places like Greenland and the Scotland forests
Hi!! Thai fan here, please come to Thailand we welcome everyone for visiting. 😊 I highly recommend you visit northern Thailand if you want to see nature . Love❤
My friend is on a journey to run/walk a marathon this soring and gave herself enough time to repeat each training week twice. Her intervals are run 3 mins/walk 2, so timing the intervals has keep it interesting and kept her and my attention without over thinking how much I hate running (I've been using it as a way to get back into running as I usually am a cyclist). Even with the walking in the intervals, it has lead to her ability (and mine! but more so hers) to do some of the training days as a full run instead and when she is doing her long run/walk weekends, her pace has really sped up.
Glad you found a high-quality, tasty breakfast! It's getting harder to find such simple pleasures (or am I just getting old and grumpy?). idk - take care - good to see you again.
I've been pretty productive lately with unpacking my moving boxes at my new place. Got under 50+ left lol take maybe a month or less till finished. ☕📚🎃🍁🍂🦊🍄🏡
Any chance of you releasing the book club episodes as a podcast? (Or anything in podcast form!) Would love to listen, but never get time to sit down :)
the constant vlogs have been EVERYTHING thank you so much EMMA
We love it!!
perfect timing as always :) having a rough week, so happy to spend some time with you here emma!
sorry to hear that lovely:( hopefully it picks up!!
You're spoiling us with all the cozy vlogs!! I'm not complaining tho ❤️

Calcifer is so pretty! Baby!!! I love orange cats. Mine is Siberian, but orange ones are so cute.
Hi Emmie! I'm also training for a half-marathon (just for the fun of it haha not signed up for a race or anything) I'd love to see more content about that c:
I’ve always wanted to ask you why you read French books in translation when your French is so good? LOVE your vlogs so much. ❤❤
It might be fun to do a few 5k or 10k runs. We have several of them this time of year down here in the states. I'm not a runner, but I like the concept. 😁

Running update - yes, yes , yes, please.
Thank u for blessing us 🥰⭐️
thank you for being here!
Love this cosy vlog❤
If you’re running you should definitely listen to: “What I talk about when I talk about running” by Murakami
Calcifer does not understand why the furniture must move, but he supports it nonetheless 💛
I've been pretty productive lately with unpacking my moving boxes at my new place. Got under 50+ left lol take maybe a month or less till finished. ☕📚🎃🍁🍂🦊🍄🏡
You have my dream hair color
