Here's the great tragedy and irony of Sauron: because the Valar abandoned Middle Earth after defeating Melkor, and so did most Maiar spirits like Melian who could possibly match or defeat Sauron being also high level Maia, Middle Earth was his for the taking. He was default the lord of Middle Earth. All he needed to do was appear a noble leader and create a great realm of lesser Elves, men, and Dwarves among other beings, and make it fair, as the beings of Middle Earth, not of Melkor's faction were suckers for things fair. With his power it would have been easy to make such a realm, emulating the Valar in Aman. Instead he chose the path that failed his former boss Melkor. Melkor and Sauron were doomed to lose in the end, because of the nature of the world of Arda. They were destroyers, who built only to destroy. He built up his realm Mordor only to create the forces needed to conquer/destroy the rest of Middle Earth. The video game highlights that Sauron wasn't necessarily well liked by other dark beings like Shelob, the Balrog, or Smaug the Dragon. Gandalf was fearful Sauron would use Smaug to terrible effect. However, I am not so sure. The thing is, Sauron was not the highest of Melkor's government. There were others like Gothmog, lord of the Balrogs, who weren't subordinate to Sauron. I'll bet those fellow dark Maia of great power like that wouldn't necessarily thought much of him, nor go on bended knee to him. Sauron's problem at the end of the Third Age, even if he regains the One Ring, is only monsters, lesser men, and beasts are of his government, no, Elves, no Dwarves, no Eagles, no Ents, powerful spirits like Tom Bombadill and River Daughter as well as Beorn's descendants are against him, what turned out to be the worst, Hobbits/Halflings were against/fearful of him as well. In the end, no matter what, if Sauron recovered his Ring, and kills Aragorn, Galadriel, Celeborn, Thranduil and the men of Dale, and the Dwarves of the Lonely Mountain, wipes out Gondor and Rohan, powers through the hostile to everyone giants in the Misty Mountains, or maybe going through Moria, then overrunning Imladris and finishing off Gandalf, and maybe Elrond, there would still be survivors of all that running West, in the end, say, Sauron had an army of 100,000 low men and strong Orcs and a vat number of weaker goblins, an equally great army of Elves, men of all types, the Dunlendings, Rangers, surviving Gondor and Rohan peoples, Dwarves, and especially HOBBITS, they had a healthy realm with a relatively large population. They had a tradition of fighting Orcs who try to raid the Shire. They are fundamentally more accurate projectile warriors than humans. So all the Elves and Dwarves have to do is train up 50,000 or more Hobbits to be slingers and bowmen and equip them and let the Men and Dwarves be frontline melee fighters and Sauron's tired, beat up army will get slaughtered. He would have to show up himself Cirdan was still there. To lead the Elven contingent. The Grey Havens probably would have had considerable man/elf power. Maybe 10,000, the lesser men and remnant fleeing from the wreck of the realms further east, perhaps 20,000 to 25,000, the other Elves fleeing and in wandering bands as seen by the Hobbits maybe another 5,000, Dwarves, perhaps 5,000, they weren't very numerous, the Ents could have been counted on, then Tom Bomabadill and River Daughter would be involved as well, he saved the Hobbits on their quest, he would definitely help against Sauron seeking to exterminate the Shire, The Eagles would be involved as well. So an army of 95,000 to 100,000 plus Eagles, plus Ents, plus Tom Bombadill. That's a really powerful force that neither Sauron, nor his forces would be expecting.
It is said that Sauron was stronger at the beggining of the second age than melkor was at the end of the first one. And maybe the armored super troll would have been efficient as eliet units

@@ishythegamer_ man the second game is fun and all but it really betrays almost everything the first game stood for, i could do an entire essay on why i dislike it
😂 😂 Nobody dears compare except they have no knowledge of the simarilion book. Morgoth is a different league from Sauron. He terrorized the early elfs for an entire age and they are far stronger than the later elfs. Fingolfin that fought Morgoth would have likely defeated Sauron who couldn't overpower the Hound of Luthien. Morgoth is a fucking Valar and the most powerful of them he can't even be unmade. 😂
so is saurons ring just stronger than celebrimbors? also I wish the nazgul showed up more in the shadow wars that would make for a cool difficulty increase or DLC if they didn't want it to have been in the base game
When Sauron forged the one ring he poured most of his life force/soul into it. Celebrimbor did basically the same but while Celebrimbor is a fairly powerful elf, Sauron is a Maia who are older than Middle-Earth itself. So yes the one ring is more powerful than Celebrimbor’s ring.
No. Sauron is fundamentally a MORE POWERFUL BEING than Celebrimbor. It's like Spider-Man trying to outfight Galactus. Sauron and the rest of the Maiar and Valar are the roughly the equivalent of Marvel's Cosmic Beings. Celebrimbor has better spirit powers, but it otherwise it might as well be Spider-Man fighting Sauron. A better fight would be one of Galactus's Heralds like Silver Surfer or Firelord. Galactus himself would be a more equal fight still. Sauron's a problem for beings with souls, like Elves and Mortals because he can manipulate them. If Sauron were real in this world, he could literally reach into you and grab your soul with his powers if he wanted to, he could gain control of your mind and enslave you if he wanted to, he even did that to fellow Maia Saruman when Saruman looked into the Palantir and Gandalf feared Sauron could do the same to him. Sauron had the tools to become lord of Middle Earth, but his lack of Military competency and being an almost comical bumbler like Costello of Abbott and Costello snatched defeat from the jaws of almost certain victory. Sauron lost not because of lack of power, or the strength of his enemies, he lost because he defeated himself because his enemies couldn't defeat him in the end.
@@ishythegamer_ If you knew anything about armour you would know swords dont do that to plate, and no slashing weapon just cuts through any metal armour
@@Saintphoenix86 Celebrimbor is capable of forging a ring that holds a godly amount of power and in a universe that’s capable of that would it not be possible to make a blade that’s possible of that. It’s also a video game so there’s that.
I wish the makers of the game will make a movie to put shame on the gazillion dollar expenditure of bezos’ rings of power. But the game already has put bezos to shame and all those who support that disgusting show, imagine Elrond kissing Galadriel eeeew, and they say they have read the lore of Tolkien’s work and thus represent it in their loathsome show
So i wonder, why talion? Is it because they went through the same watch their family dying infront of them before dying themselves? Or was the dude's chanting supposed to do something to talion? 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
Ive honestly been wondering that for so long, why Talion? He does mention how their pain connects them, and his family was sacrificed at the black gate. I think it was coincidence and he just happened to be chosen by Celebrimbor for that reason for the opportunity to decieve him. Talion is very skilled and wouldnt cooperate if he knew he was being held against his will to stay alive when he's supposed to be dead, it is unnatural. As Celebrimbor says, he is just a vessel that can be replaced, alive or dead. Basically i just think Celebrimbor chose him because he thought it would be convenient for him. Hurts seeing the change in Celebrimbors character progress though, and how his motives slowly shift.
Weird how the DLC didn't stay accurate to the main story. We see Celebrimbor vs Sauron in an open field in shadow of Mordor and a massive battle, yet in the dlc they fight in a fort and the battle is much more... lame.
Ever hear of an angry/vengeful spirit or phantom, I wouldn’t call him evil as he’s dead. He died with regrets, a lot of hate and anger in his heart and all that transposed into his spirit. Edit: just a theory.
Basically centuries before frodo n stuff sauron(when he was still alive) came to this one elven king celebrimbor because celebrimbor knew how to craft rings. Sauron made him craft all the rings to humans dwarves ect…but he secretly (without saying to celebrimbor)crafted his own(one ring)to dominate the others. When celebrimbor knew about this he stole the one ring but the damage was already done bc sauron had destroyed his kingdom and had captured celebrimbors family. Celebrimbor troed to het revenge by killing sauron but the kne ring betrayed him returning to sauron.

Sauron must wear platform boots, bc he was not that tall without his armor during flashbacks
The flashbacks was his elf form and you have to the take in account the power of the one ring.
@@ishythegamer_ so it's not armor? It's just a different form? I didn't know he could change forms

Even though i really like the game i'm glad that this is not canon
Ill buy this game on my ps5 today i never play it its looks a great game..
It is, it’s one of a kind. Hope you enjoy it.
Is this 60fps? I usually can tell but I am unsure if maybe it’s the effects, or the animations. Also I would think many console releases would be capped anyway due to the coding.
Don’t think so, the game itself is 30fps as it only got a PS4 pro update instead of a ps5 upgrade which is capable of 60 at higher resolution.

Man that sucks. While I think everyone agreed Shadow of War was astronomical gameplay wise, compared; Shadow of Mordor’s art style was still somewhat more fresh and unique at the time, unlike the matured sequel. (At least in my opinion) I hope Shadow of Mordor 3 is announced early 2022 for our sakes lol.
Also, thank you for answering, I was debating on searching it up, then you replied a video that you posted a month ago, in 5 hours! That is some generosity and dedication millions would never give.
Anyway have a good day…
@@bandicootsav2270 Indeed it was, I actually preferred the first games look too, especially talions and celebrimbors models. And no problem it’s easy when your channel is so small, I was asleep that’s why it took a lil longer.
@@ishythegamer_ man the second game is fun and all but it really betrays almost everything the first game stood for, i could do an entire essay on why i dislike it
@@Ihatemissteale Well it did up the scale quite a lot and you can’t do that without changing a few things but yeah the first hits different for sure.
Why do videos from this channel increase the Brightness of my phone to the MAX. This is very unwelcome.

I’ve been saying this for a while

Morgoth's battles broke continents - Sauron fight an elf
Morgoth fought an elf
Morgoth was wounded by an elf
@@starboy3983 Then stepped on it and killed him
😂 😂 Nobody dears compare except they have no knowledge of the simarilion book. 😂
The game looks like shadow of war the second one, which is way better graphics then the first I’m surprised, what does shadow of war look like on ps5?
so is saurons ring just stronger than celebrimbors? also I wish the nazgul showed up more in the shadow wars that would make for a cool difficulty increase or DLC if they didn't want it to have been in the base game
Obviously Sauron's ring is more powerful , With the ring he is like a weak Valar which puts him way above any elf
Sauron lost not because of lack of power, or the strength of his enemies, he lost because he defeated himself because his enemies couldn't defeat him in the end.
so a dlc before talion was real
awesome
Indeed.
@@ishythegamer_ oh sh$t i forgot the dlc came out a couple years ago i'm a doof i didn't know

That blood splatter sound is terrible, why is there blood when you are slashing armour
I suppose the sword pierces the armour.
But the game already has put bezos to shame and all those who support that disgusting show, imagine Elrond kissing Galadriel eeeew, and they say they have read the lore of Tolkien’s work and thus represent it in their loathsome show
I like how they sort of downsized Sauron in this. Unlike that exaggerated sized monster humanoid in FotR
@@phroggy1994 Sauron tried to make Talion a Nazgûl.
@@ChristianProtossDragoon because celebrimbor chose him and he became a ringbearer
Weird how the DLC didn't stay accurate to the main story. We see Celebrimbor vs Sauron in an open field in shadow of Mordor and a massive battle, yet in the dlc they fight in a fort and the battle is much more... lame.
So that’s how “Lord of the Rings” began… . It’s all because of an elf… . Figures… .

Bright lord dlc
Yorokobe, shounen.
this game is awesome but the controllers sucks a lot
how do you play this mission in shadow of mordor
It’s the bright lord dlc, it’s not a mission in the main game. If you own the dlc it can be accessed via the main menu.
Explain me ending pls. Why Celebrimbor is so evil ?
He was corrupted by the ring he forged
