Let's get it!
I didn’t realize chase bays was owned by Ned Flanders
🤣 Thats wild!
I bet no one else will show up wearing a turtle neck. Chase’s drip is unmatched. Dapper AF 🖤
😎😎😎
Great pod. Hands down best one to listen too in my opinion. Lots of great info from someone with 1st hand knowledge. Much better then the story time or traditional drifter interview
Glad we got Chase on the pod for this exact reason!
Constructive criticism, the excessive camera cuts feel like they are giving me a seizure
Yeah adjusting that on the next one. Our bad haha
I want to watch this but I can't because its so flashy haha. I say redo the video edit and post it again.

We want to hear Bryan Leonard!
1 Like and I'll do it haha
Man ChaseBays has come a long way. I remember hearing word of mouth back in like 2008 at import alliance. Such an informative episode. 👏🏿 👏🏿👏🏿
Yes they have. Glad you enjoyed this episode!
We need to get Rob Dyrdek on and into drifting
Honestly one of my favorite episodes of this podcast! Other than one of the originals where you guys roasted my e36😂 honestly though! Learned so much and know what I need to buy! Hearing about the brake master sizes is huge!
Glad you learned a lot and glad enjoyed the pod man!
Im new to drifting and I really appreciate this podcast. it has so much value in every episode.
We appreciate you, and Thank you🙏🏽
Great podcast, I love ur content but the amount of times you switch camera angles is driving me nuts🤣 big fan of both u guys, thanks for what you do!
We Appreciate it🙏🏽We'll fix the switching of the camera angles next time
Ran quite a few track days with Bryan at Midpond. Good dude. Damn good driver.
Hell yeah 🤘🏽🤘🏽🤘🏽
Great interview. Love his chill vibe
Exactly!, Glad you like it!
Yoo love the pods but personally hurting my head with the fast back and forth of the camera angles haha
Feel like not needed for every second you start/stop talking
Just personal preference
But keep killin it, I’ll be back next Sunday
Fixing that for the next one. We ran out of time to fix it. Appreciate the input🤘🏼
Hes so right about getting a shorter diff. My buddy has a e34 that i drive sometimes and its a non vanos stock af with a 3.91 LSD and it rips. Top speed of like 105 in 5th though. 😂
Its something that many don't consider. I bet that e34 rips!
“The frogs are turning gay” killed me 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
Solid quality parts love hearing how they came about!!
Pretty interesting hearing the behind the scenes of it all
@@circleofdrift sure is! I been running his parts for 10 plus years I try to stay off socials so had no idea. Keep doing what your doing man we enjoy and appreciate it!
You mentioned the camera angles and now I'm getting dizzy with em changing so much
😂😂😂 Sorry about that its fixed in the other pods
The pad info for the hydro will definitely help me out at my next event.
That's what we're here for!
@@circleofdrift really appreciate your efforts in making these podcasts.
Where in the video is that info?
@c33jp I'll look for it I know it was said around the last 10 minutes of the podcast but it was also mentioned near the middle.
@@c33jp1:36:00 start there
Would love to see Jason Ferron from keep it reet on, his got some wild cars and his hilarious
Noted!
Idk who's controlling the cameras, but Jesus christ, you don't have to swap between them every 2 seconds. Love the podcast regardless. That just really bothers me for whatever reason 🤷♂️
Haha we ran out of time this week to fix that. Appreciate the input. It’ll be fixed next week🤘🏼
Summit Racing!!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yessirr!
I watch too much Cleetus to not know Summit is the largest parts distributor
🤣🤣🤣

For a drifting "metric" system, doesn't the D1GP DOSS count?
I used to hate the idea of getting rid of the human element, since drifting is all about style. And in video games, the drift point systems all suck ass. But I've never seen DOSS make a bad call, it's way more on point than FD judges. And it's really the only way you can "objectively" score a drift run.
A breakdown for those who don't know about DOSS/how it works:
It's basically a telemetry computer that calculates scores based on initiation speed, average speed, proximity to lead driver, max angle, rate to angle, angle stability, and transition smoothness.
Then the judges, who are all experienced D1 drivers can implement penalties for off course, collisions, missed clipping zones (which are painted on), corrections, egregiously low speed and a few other things.
It's not good for FD-style judging with full line, people can experiment. "Riding the wall" type stuff, big smoke, or "x-factor" but it's amazing with Japanese style drifting that emphasizes smoothness, fluidity, angle.
Interesting, I think i've heard about it
@@circleofdrift Yeah, it's pretty cool. I feel like stuff moves a lot faster because it's automated, too.
Def worth checking out the top 16 battles for D1GP Okuibuki 2024 Saturday, to see it in action. Video Option has an English recording for it. Though I know comp ain't really your thing
I wish bc racing had the pride chase bays does. I've been lied too and fucked over by them so many times. Their customer service is straight ass
Thanks for saying that! We’re drivers and builders too so we get it, we do our best.
@@ChaseBaysTV exactly why I have some of your parts in my parts pile for my new chassis I'm building
🤢 just as i expected... Hey, you should bring that guy Mike back from Elsea's world!!
Hate that these come out on Sunday. I always listen to these at work Monday morning🫶🏼
Haha If I posted on Mondays they'd be at the same time so then you wouldn't have it for Monday mornings
@@circleofdrift either way the wait is killer every week🙏🏻 always excited to see who you have on
@@As_Is_Racing82 Preciate it man 🙌🙌🙌
