When I'm emotional, I dont like people seeing me, so until I'm alone, I have a knot in my throat and I cant talk. I know how strong our relationship is, but from the time I was just a baby, my parents were divorced. My dad used to rock me in a chair to sleep, and whenever I was going in the crib, I would wake up and I wouldnt go back to sleep unless in his grasp. Now 10 years later, I'm having problems with family and mostly him and I'm slowly taking my moms side. I'm having regrets but I'm trying to stay strong. Its causing me a lot of anxiety, depression, and worry. Every step we took together was the start of our journey together. Love you dad.

I absolutely love his songs. They bring me joy and sadness and a whole aray of emotions. Red Sovine is before my time but that's never stopped my dad from teaching me any of the older songs. And I loved it. My entire life, even now that I'm 20 we still quiz each other. I love seeing the pride in his eyes that I'm not into a lot of the newer country like most of my generation.
