Wish i could see Manny mix a song from scratch to final product. Would learn a ton of stuff to improve my own mixes.

I already loved manny's plugins and it's really nice to see how much of a good engineer and person he really is! Real nice episode... keep going Dave and all the crew!! good'os from brazil
I like this episode of ITL. the "channel strip" thingy he uses sounds like a typical amp/distortion thing- which is cool cause i discovered that using that on instruments other than guitars gets you a LOT of energy!
Man guys.. this episode was brilliant!! :D Best show ever! I hope I can still watch these when I move to China :( I'll probably need a proxy or something. THANKS SO MUCH EVERYONE AT PENSADO's PLACE!!!
Feeling truly inspired, sending you Christmas greetings from New Delhi, India! :-) Manny Marroquin - love your work, it's absolutely top class and inspiring. Dave - u're a legend, thank you for being you and sharing all that knowledge with us. RESPECT! :-)
Don Pensado Thank You for the ITL on Brass, it will help me with salsa & merengue mixes. And to my favorite CHAPIN the GRAMMY IS YOUR!!!!!! Thank You. The Mars mix is like a breath of fresh air. It might be to much to ask for how about THE ARTIST (PRINCE) OR KRAVITZ.
Guys you are Crazy!! I cant thank you enough!! Every episode is absolutely unbeliavable including this one!! Much Love, OWLS PS: different compressor on different parts in a track, thats craaaazzyyy!!!
Hey Herb & Dave, I'm a hip-hop producer who heavily uses samples in my music, and would love to learn how Manny treated the Samples from Vinyl, used on his mixes for Common-Be. Any resources on this?
that tidbit about using different bus compressors for different parts of the song is such a dangerous piece of the information to put out publically and is gonna fuck up more people's mixes than the misuse of multiband compression.
Hi Dave, I have a MH 2882 and am looking to get a new MAC to go with it. I notice you have no fear of using lots of plugs, but I am wondering what machine specs you are driving your projects on? Also, are you running 96k/24bit.? Great show, thanks so much for all you do. Your tops!
Every single guest is confused when asked for something under $500. They don’t even promote their plugins at such a juncture. Guess I ain’t getting onto Billboard over the next several lifetimes
Yeah, it is not cheap work but transformers and op amps do give life to the sound. You can find old mixer board with transformers tho ((Yamaha pm 700), also you can get Distrossor x2, FMR compressor, UAD 2 card with some plugs, Boss pedals are cheap, it will be almost 3k$ ...but you can do so much. Drive some older car but get some distorted saturated musical output man. GL
we need a new manny interview
Fr
Yaaaaasssss! A new one 😀 , plzz pensados place
seriously…he just mixed both the new pusha t and kendrick albums.

Wich reverb does manny mention at batter's box? 43:52
I hate how us "late viewers" never get to know the answers to the stump the vintage king guys questions :'(
They give the answer when they stream the shows live I think
What EQ he says in 45:53?
which speakers are above the yamahas?
is audio school worth the investment?
What's Will doing there?
fly buzzzz 41:09 ;) love the show thanks
09:14 Proof Dave Lifts
New Manny please. He just mixed Kendrick’s Mr. Morale & The Big Steppers. Not MixedByAli surprisingly.

Does anybody understand the batters box game?
original songs by jonathan lewis as long as the guest can answer most of Dave’s questions Dave loses
@@TyCarr but it seems like you could say anything for the answers. You just name a bit of gear you like.
Today there is no chance of getting near a studio if you are a beginner, like Manny was
Quad 8
its spanish HOMIE "DON"
Re$pect.
Claudius Mittendorfer PLEASE!!!
