A visit to Isshinzushi Koyo in Southern Japan to have a Sushi Omakase Dinner and a few glasses of Sake and Wine - Restaurant name: Price: 77385 Yen (2 people)
Thank you for sharing these special Japanese experiences with us. The atmosphere is almost like something out of a movie, and they are consummate actors. Greetings from Romania.
I love watching these. Asian food isn't even my favorite (tends to me to be undercooked and a different texture) but the attention to detail, methotic moves, and cleanliness makes asian chefs be on another level.
I worked at a japanese restaurant very similar to the one seen here( Basically restaurants for special occasions or the very wealthy) and it is very much theater. Make any small little mistake for instance anticipating what the chef needs and after service you're gonna get Scolded,/ berated. A lot of attention to small little details. It's an intense but beautiful food culture
So glad you still make these videos. Got surgery two days ago and the pain is finally setting in. This should hopefully put me to sleep. Appreciate the work. Edit- I fell asleep and pain meds wore off. Slept right through them. Got my tonsils and adenoids removed. Talk about some good old fashion pain when I woke up. Only been awake for 5 minutes and I’m wide awake because of the pain. Plus side is I can breathe so much better now.
How old are you? I had my tonsils out at 35 and went through 10 days of hell. Extreme pain. But would do it again to be able to breathe better and get those poison balls of flesh out of my body...
@@ThomasK9791 25. I’ve been through a lot of pain in my life and this was up there. I’d do it again in a heart beat. I could breathe twice as good as soon as they were removed. I couldn’t breathe and I had tonsil stones. The smell and also causing me to get sick non stop. I was over it. Now this coming Friday I get a deviated septum fix, shaving so I can breathe better from my nose and a sinus cyst.
one look at that head chefs face and you know - you dont complain or talk back to him - you are not lazy when working with him that dude takes his work *extremely* serious.
Hi aden, how do you go about making reservations at some of the places in japan? Are there long waiting lists or is a couple days prior sufficient ? I am heading there in Sept.
Contact the concierge at the hotel you booked. You will need a flight confirmation typically. Most high class Japanese restaurants will only accept bookings made through a hotel.
That's a puffer fish testicle. I say white child. There is no fishy smell because it is fresh. Creamy and very tasty. It is grilled over charcoal, topped with black truffles, and eaten like risotto. It's very expensive, so even Japanese people are only wealthy people. Generally Japanese people eat cod milt. It must be fresh.
How would anyone approach a regular buffet, which have regular sushi just have 2 or 3 fish,,, and the rest many other stuff, like pizza, wings, steamed fish, chowmein fried rice, and the likes, not authentic Japanese restaurant... can anyone suggest.
"today is his birthday, so write down on your channel"
happy birthday for the chef, and thanks for this food art, really love the food.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CHEF! Thank you for let them filmed you and your crew, this video was so helpful for me.

Aden - this chef is a boss. I like his style and I like yours. Thanks for the upload.
Might be one of my favorite videos thus far!!

I agree. It's videos like this that are relaxing and interesting.
Wish you a speedy recovery and better health.
@@raymond3855 I appreciate that very much. Always nice to see that there are people out there that still care about complete strangers. Take care.

That place was an extremely well organized operation, like a well oiiled machine! Looked delicious!
It better be for 600$ a plate smdh
Well presented taster menu 😌🙏
Amazing 🍣
I'd like to introduce a Japanese restaurant in Hamamatsu-city Shizoka.

Interesting… I always thought sushi chefs use a yanagiba for sushi. Looks like he went to a gyuto mainly. Thanks
Good job ❤❤

Lovely.
Any decent boss would have given him the evening off to celebrate his birthday with family.
Love the food very much!
today is his birthday, birthdays are extra.
At that price, he should throw it into your mouth like a ninja star! 🤣
No wonder it cost $580, mans ordered the whole menu
otoro sliced so thin it reminds me of prosciutto
Professional
I would kill to go here.
Great 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
It seems like the chef blinks just when it's doing some minor action like moving the plate or talk
good !
btw those are pretty big size bites... and what happens to the small cuts set aside,
are they dispose... those are edible small bits.
You should hire a translator and transcriptionist for videos like this to use as subtitles.
good luck❤ hari ini
Such opulence in Japanese fine dining, everyone has his role in making sure your lavished upon... Japanese style!
😂😂😂😂😂
Beautiful video. But 580 bucks for 2 bites? Naaaa
All you can drink sake included in this dinner? If so, you'll be feeling good after.
Title should say $290 - which is the price per person... and that too, is with drinks...
😍
I just wanted to book a table, but then i've seen the price...😱
$546 😂😂😂
What is the second dish? Custard looking thing with truffle.

Wow 580$ 😮
253 US dollar
Would anyone know what the pink/brown filling is he puts in the sushi rolls? Maybe crab?
Tuna
For that price, should include geisha and sumo enterainment
PEAK
Waiting for English subtitles 😢
01:00:27
what would happen if you snatched the entire sushi roll out of his hand and ate it in one go before anyone could intervene?
O_O
No chips and mushy peas ? 😉
He never touches the Santoku in front of him.

I'd be telling chunk boiiii to stop interrupting my meal with needless chit chat.
Chef holds chop sticks in one hand while plating food with fingers of other hand ? Is this the done thing?
And now lets watch some indian street food video :)
