@@annea3004 everyone dies eventually, the difference between “winners” and “losers” though is mostly that “losers” often have less than fortunate lives with mostly crushed hopes and dreams bad relationships ect and then die alone with nobody that really cares that they even existed in the first place. Whether you die in a tsunami, crippled by old age on a hospital bed, because of a sudden heart attack, killed by radiation in a merciless nuclear war, in a car crash, because of a nasty cancer or whatever...you will have to leave this world one day. There is no escape from this material world. The only possible escape is spiritual. I think 99% of people here would rather pick a scenario where they escape to an area where they are able to live out their lives for the next several decades in a peaceful way to accomplish whatever they desire (EXAMPLES: getting married, raising a family, relaxing while watching a favorite movie while eating their favorite food, etc) versus getting radiation poisoning and vomiting all over the place while their life slowly slips away after several painful days of pure torture while enemy combatants continue to destroy their general area.. Making spiritual plans is perfectly fine and even encouraged, but trying to make plans to extend one's life in a way where one can live in a peaceful way (even if it means they have to leave their current area and move somewhere else to make that happen) is an extremely good thing. Life is a gift given to us and we should try to live it in the best way possible and if that means having to escape somewhere else to accomplish that, then so be it.

Don’t seek shelter, try to remain calm, you need to be at the center of the blast. It will be instantaneous a bright flash of light we may feel the flesh burn for half a second or so. Then hopefully we will be with Jesus Christ. Maybe this is when the rapture happens.
We're probably in the safest country in the world. Paraguay. We only use 10% of the electricity we produce, all from hydro electric power plants. Paraguay has 7 million inhabitats, but produce food for about 40 million, so finding food should not be a problem. With temperatures between 0 degrees celcius at its lowest in winter, and 50 degrees celcius at the hottest in summer, some nuclear winter would make it a lot more enjoyable. We're also not part of NATO or enemies with any other country or grouping, and have very little underground resources any of them could benefit from. We're also about 800 km from the sea, as the crow flies. Besides that, we live among the friendliest, most helpful people in the world.

It's better to go into one of the cities in Paraguay like "Cuidad Del Este", Asuncion, San Lorenzo, etc, (and pick one of the nicer areas in those cities. Like American and European cities, cities in Paraguay have nice neighborhoods and not so nice neighborhoods) than going into the jungles of Paraguay (a lot of criminals have set up in places in the jungle since it's a place law enforcement doesn't want to go into unless they really have to. There are Jaguars, Anacondas and Panthers roaming around those jungles. The "Red-Bellied Piranhas" are also in various parts of that jungle and those specific Piranhas are more aggressive than the normal types (most Piranhas are vegetarians, but the Red-Bellied Piranhas eat meat). The human criminals in those jungles tend to set up in areas and shelter which keeps them safe and even then they have to walk around armed if they have to go from their shelter to their vehicles due to the hostile wildlife there).

A safer option would be to be as mobile as possible. I personally would like to be on a sailboat with plenty of solar panels, a marine wind turbine, and an electric backup motor that can act as a generator when under sail, as well as a water maker and plenty of fishing gear and vitamin C pills lol. With that sort of setup, you could stay on the move, hide out far at sea, maybe island hop and transport people or mail between islands in exchange for a bit of food that you can't catch at sea. I'd also have a large container of different seeds to plant various crops on unpopulated islands I might come across as backup caches of planted food.
Tasmania would be a great place, 200km south of Eastern Australia. Cleanest air in the world. Fertile soils for growing crops. In the southern hemisphere. Mountainous. Easily forgotten by world powers.

If the war interrupts global trade, those islands you mentioned first could become a prison, trapping you and any refuges there, with little options for escape. I’m sticking with my decision!

Chile was a good choice in South America, but to ignore a few of the other countries is like trying to keep a best kept secret. Unlike mentioning that Chile is not totally energy independent, Paraguay for example, is. It is also landlocked, and sits on top of one of the largest fresh water aquafers on the planet. Not only do they net export energy, they net export food too.

I live under an active volcano, near a maritime supervolcano, and at a one-hour ride from Sigonella airbase. I lived 3 decades within the critical radius of 3 nuclear plants. As a child I almost died of tuberculosis, and during my child- and adulthood due to stupid decisions I made. I can also fall down the stairs and break my neck at any time. With the same result. I won't run anywhere.
In a word, Tasmania, no nuclear fallout will fall on Tasmania, good fishing, lots of food and grain grown locally, clean air and water fed from the Antarctic, all power is green and not reliant on the mainland, already there safe and sound 👍

you are right, Fiji is the Place to be, even right now. I'm German and live here for over 30 years. But over 90 % of the Land is owned by native Fijians. The rest is Freehold and quite costly.
Infrastructure development is lacking in Fiji which is a barrier to economic development hence its difficult for preppers to develop bunkers. There's hardly ang helicopter in Fiji. Many setbacks there for making fiji a safe haven for preppers.
Very weak infrastructure, not self-sufficient at all, very few agricultural land, the irony is even the fush isn't abundant, some really expensive. I was there for few weeks, too lucj hype about it but not paradis they keep advertising. I wouldn't live there forever.

We are currently planning on building a fortified concrete home all off-grid on an island. We'll have food/water backups and also faraday shielded redundant backups of everything also. It may not be enough, but it will be more than most.
Volcanos are not a threat to the entire island, just an isolated region, I live on a volcanic island as well when we get eruptions all that reaches my house is a dusting of ash. Long term quality of life on the pacific islands will however be an issue. Much of their modern lifestyle is dependent on imports such as petroleum. While they might avoid direct attack, they would regress very quickly with the collapse in trade with the outside world. The (relatively) high populations they can sustain now will be reduced dramatically. Some islands could become completely uninhabitable if cut off from the rest of the world.
You want to be at least 12 feet underground in a bunker located at least 50 miles away from likely nuclear targets. And you had better have enough food, water and sanitation to let you stay safely sheltered for a month after the last nearest nuclear detonation. And you better have good plans for how you will survive for years without a functioning power grid, internet, banking system, modern medical and dental care or the ability to hire other people to do things for you that you do not know how to do. Such as grow grain, mill grain make bread and pasta, build houses, weave cloth make clothing, raise livestock, butcher animals, tan hides, make leather shoes..
Seems like a sailboat with a decent living quarters and water desalination system equipped with some solar panels would be more attainable than a reinforced concrete underground bunker with a dedicated air supply to most people. Sail around, fish, sail elsewhere. Figure it out from there.
@@jishani1 If there is a nuclear war, the radioactive fallout will not just be over land. Radioactive particles will fall over oceans too. A submerged submarine could offer some protection if if kept moving, but a sailboat would collect plenty of radio active particles on its deck.

If you're near a long line ATT tower station in the middle of nowhere. It may be in your interest to break in when the nukes start flying. I couldn't even bat an eyelid. My breathing and heart rate remained steady although I was now panicking. Seconds later I fell out of my body and down a vast wide tunnel of squirming fleshy walls of various shades of red. No time existed in this dimension. It was so real it's more real than reality itself. An ultra reality. An acute sense of being. Like our living bodies are virus ridden computers and simply couldn't comprehend this unseen reality. After travelling some distance freefalling I found myself suspended in complete darkness. Then out of the black an ordinary mans face appeared staring at me. He turned his head to the left exposing 666 on his right temple. As soon as this happened I was shot back into my comatose body and instantly bounced into the air as every muscle tensed being in a state of shock. The vertical blinds of my bedroom blew in so hard they hit the ceiling even though my window was shut. But that didn't bother me. I was already in a state of shock. 666! Isn't that the devil's number? I thought to myself. No one that I know of was religious in my family although I know there's a KJV in my parents wardrobe passed down. Without turning on any light I found It straight away in the dark as everyone was asleep. I couldn't wait to get back to my room with it. The only light on in the house. I couldn't even sit, as soon the light hit the book as I entered the room I opened it. I just couldn't wait but why? I had multiple thoughts enter my head, I'd then open the bible anywhere and instantly read the relevant response. This process repeated numerous times then I felt an unimaginable love wash over me. Joy flooded over me. Wow, this is far better than anything this world has to offer. I thought to myself. I knew no churchy's or Christians to guide me nor had I heard any preaching but I knew there and then what I had to do. I gathered all my posters and music I wasn't supposed to have, carried them across to a field after midnight and set fire to them. Close to 100 vinyl records caught fire quickly and the smoke went into a foot wide corkscrew column. Why? I have no idea. I went back to my room and cried a river for the lost souls of the world and begged that He would ever only show me truth. Is it demonic to pray for the lost after having supernatural experiences that lead you to Christ? I've been shown so much truth since and some more supernatural experiences it would make anybody's head spin. And the way it gets shown like after I've just had a simple thought or He will stay on a certain subject for a day etc to teach me something. Never presume you have it all correct right now just because a certain denomination state it as fact. The bible alone is fact. You may be surprised when it's read with an open mind without mans outside influences, pride or ego. I'm not smart. I talk and read slow and typing this took hours. We're nothing without Christ Jesus. Beware of man. Cursed is the man that trusts in man... Seek me and find me when you search for me with all your heart.

Trouble of the Iceland and especially of the New Zealand is that just one rocket could provoke big volcanic activity (NZ is supervolcano). Plus most of the people responsible for war would be hiding on the two places, which will makes them desirable for destroying.

I'd likely live in the southern hemisphere. The border between the northern and southern hemispheres make it difficult for fallout to cross, due to differing weather patterns. Most nukes will land in the northern hemisphere (according to MIRA Safety's Nuclear Attack Map) as that is where Europe, North America, and most of Asia lies, and yes, some fallout will cross to the southern hemisphere and nukes will drop in the south, but the average "concentration" of fallout in the south is likely to be dwarfed by that in the north. Based off this decision, New Zealand would be on my list.

I think 99% of people here would rather pick a scenario where they escape to an area where they are able to live out their lives for the next several decades in a peaceful way to accomplish whatever they desire (EXAMPLES: getting married, raising a family, relaxing while watching a favorite movie while eating their favorite food, etc) versus getting radiation poisoning and vomiting all over the place while their life slowly slips away after several painful days of pure torture while enemy combatants continue to destroy their general area..
Making spiritual plans is perfectly fine and even encouraged, but trying to make plans to extend one's life in a way where one can live in a peaceful way (even if it means they have to leave their current area and move somewhere else to make that happen) is an extremely good thing. Life is a gift given to us and we should try to live it in the best way possible and if that means having to escape somewhere else to accomplish that, then so be it.

We're probably in the safest country in the world. Paraguay. We only use 10% of the electricity we produce, all from hydro electric power plants. Paraguay has 7 million inhabitats, but produce food for about 40 million, so finding food should not be a problem. With temperatures between 0 degrees celcius at its lowest in winter, and 50 degrees celcius at the hottest in summer, some nuclear winter would make it a lot more enjoyable. We're also not part of NATO or enemies with any other country or grouping, and have very little underground resources any of them could benefit from. We're also about 800 km from the sea, as the crow flies. Besides that, we live among the friendliest, most helpful people in the world.

There are Jaguars, Anacondas and Panthers roaming around those jungles. The "Red-Bellied Piranhas" are also in various parts of that jungle and those specific Piranhas are more aggressive than the normal types (most Piranhas are vegetarians, but the Red-Bellied Piranhas eat meat). The human criminals in those jungles tend to set up in areas and shelter which keeps them safe and even then they have to walk around armed if they have to go from their shelter to their vehicles due to the hostile wildlife there).

A safer option would be to be as mobile as possible. I personally would like to be on a sailboat with plenty of solar panels, a marine wind turbine, and an electric backup motor that can act as a generator when under sail, as well as a water maker and plenty of fishing gear and vitamin C pills lol. With that sort of setup, you could stay on the move, hide out far at sea, maybe island hop and transport people or mail between islands in exchange for a bit of food that you can't catch at sea. I'd also have a large container of different seeds to plant various crops on unpopulated islands I might come across as backup caches of planted food.

Volcanos are safer than earthquakes or snow, tornadoes, hurricanes if you are in the eruption zone just leave when they erupt

And you better have good plans for how you will survive for years without a functioning power grid, internet, banking system, modern medical and dental care or the ability to hire other people to do things for you that you do not know how to do. Such as grow grain, mill grain make bread and pasta, build houses, weave cloth make clothing, raise livestock, butcher animals, tan hides, make leather shoes..
Seems like a sailboat with a decent living quarters and water desalination system equipped with some solar panels would be more attainable than a reinforced concrete underground bunker with a dedicated air supply to most people. Sail around, fish, sail elsewhere. Figure it out from there.
@@jishani1 If there is a nuclear war, the radioactive fallout will not just be over land. Radioactive particles will fall over oceans too. A submerged submarine could offer some protection if if kept moving, but a sailboat would collect plenty of radio active particles on its deck.

After travelling some distance freefalling I found myself suspended in complete darkness. Then out of the black an ordinary mans face appeared staring at me. He turned his head to the left exposing 666 on his right temple. As soon as this happened I was shot back into my comatose body and instantly bounced into the air as every muscle tensed being in a state of shock. The vertical blinds of my bedroom blew in so hard they hit the ceiling even though my window was shut. But that didn't bother me. I was already in a state of shock. 666! I had multiple thoughts enter my head, I'd then open the bible anywhere and instantly read the relevant response. This process repeated numerous times then I felt an unimaginable love wash over me. Joy flooded over me. Wow, this is far better than anything this world has to offer. I thought to myself.
I knew no churchy's or Christians to guide me nor had I heard any preaching but I knew there and then what I had to do. I gathered all my posters and music I wasn't supposed to have, carried them across to a field after midnight and set fire to them. Close to 100 vinyl records caught fire quickly and the smoke went into a foot wide corkscrew column. Why? I have no idea. I went back to my room and cried a river for the lost souls of the world and begged that He would ever only show me truth. Is it demonic to pray for the lost after having supernatural experiences that lead you to Christ?
I've been shown so much truth since and some more supernatural experiences it would make anybody's head spin. And the way it gets shown like after I've just had a simple thought or He will stay on a certain subject for a day etc to teach me something. Never presume you have it all correct right now just because a certain denomination state it as fact. The bible alone is fact. You may be surprised when it's read with an open mind without mans outside influences, pride or ego. I'm not smart. I talk and read slow and typing this took hours. Our lake Taupo in the middle of the north island is the crater from an erupted volcano then we have the alpine fault going right down the south island, not as safe here as people think due to the politics going on either

I'd likely live in the southern hemisphere. The border between the northern and southern hemispheres make it difficult for fallout to cross, due to differing weather patterns. Most nukes will land in the northern hemisphere (according to MIRA Safety's Nuclear Attack Map) as that is where Europe, North America, and most of Asia lies, and yes, some fallout will cross to the southern hemisphere and nukes will drop in the south, but the average "concentration" of fallout in the south is likely to be dwarfed by that in the north. Based off this decision, New Zealand would be on my list.

@@SL89999 Um, Okay, where do they land the troops? The distances mean it is obvious where troops are headed and where abouts do you go when you reach the Australian outback. Then there is the Saltwater crocodiles.
The USA could not even subdue Afghanistan, which does not have the difficult geography of Australia.
@@KrunchyJD Same as the allies did in WW2 - paratroopers. The mines are remote and not territory inhabited by crocodiles. Australia has only 85 combat aircraft and limited territorial defence options. And does not have armed civilians.

your wrong on most everything here ..anywhere in the northern hemisphere is going to be affected badly in a major war its all up there
Southern hemisphere is the only place to be . The small military from Australia and new Zealand would be dispatched to the front lines to back up usa same as what happened with Iraq war and managing the pacific ocean borders with navy Exports to anywhere would not be happening while war is on.. China is main business export for Australia and it would be China attacking usa no doubt so exports would stop anyway there is zero nuclear Threat from aust. And new Zealand and clean water air and food no one will nuke those countries. It's pointless ...the war will be thousands of miles away ...

There is one problem that could arise however .
That would be a barter threat /deal: eg: China says to USA "We have nukes aimed at major cities in Australia "! We will release them if you don't do this or that "
The USA will be forced into a difficult position if that goes down . That is a real issue.
