    Thanks again for a good theme! Can you clarify for me such questions:
    1. Can I drive with a Russian license?
    2. Can I get a G-full license right away if I have a 10+ driving experience in my country? Can I skip G1/G2 holding time?
    3. What is the fastest way to get G-full if you have enough experience in your own country?
    4. Do I need to get any additional papers from home to prove my driving experience? Because Russian driving license has a translation in English.
    5. Should I take a certificate from the insurance company about the absence of accidents in English? Does it help me in any case?

      @@Jake-gp4jf, your answer seems a little irrelevant, where did you get this information, can you provide us with the source?

      @@Jake-gp4jf But I asked you about resources. Your resource is you :) Ok, I see. I definitely think you are wrong, for example:
      1) It's strange if I can't use my licence for at least several months. What do all tourists do in that case? Are they passing the exam? I doubt it.
      2) It's strange to take driving lessons if you have enough experience in driving. Why not pass the exam straight away?
      3) In Russia, it is mandatory to have insurance, and you have preferences if you can show what you don't have accidents in your history. I can show such a paper, so ask it in case anyone had the same experience.
      Maybe I am wrong. You live there, I don't. But it's extraordinary, and it seems like you overcomplicate the task. I am not trying to find the way to outwit G-license, I just look for the more convenient way to gain it with most ordinary circumstances.
      I don't have the intention to touch your feelings. Sorry if I did so, I should write this long answer before, but I didn't have time and maybe because of the short answer it seemed a little rude. I just think that in this case, only a reliable source of information can solve our discussion. The link to the specified government recommendations or something like that.
      In any case, thank you for your answer and have a nice day!

      Look for Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra... those would be pretty cheap on gas, maintenance and quite reliable.

    I’m going to Canada to study from January to June 2021. I’m 16 and I would like to get a license and buy a low price car to move around? Can I do it? Or do I have to wait a long time? What do I have to do?

    • @LifeInCanada
      @LifeInCanada  4 роки тому

      If you didn't have a licence before you would need to pass a written exam first and then after one year you would be able to pass a drive test and get a G2 licence and only then you can buy a car and start driving.
