The road test I find it’s all on who you have as your examiner some are strict others are nice some might be having a bad day. It sucks but everyone is different I was lucky to have a examiner that was a little nice a let certain things go. Also you can help yourself by being nice to the examiners hold the door open for them when leaving the building show them your nice and respectful could help you in the end when the score gets added up.

Kalem Phabien I'd recommend watching CBC Marketplace they give you good tips for buying a new car from dealerships. Like to hide a lot of hidden fees and upsell you on financing for a vehicle you can't afford.

No, after you get your learners you are required to have a Fully lincensed person to be seated with you.

With a learners license you can drive but you need someone in the car with a full license. Look at the learners license as a license to drive a car for practice. G1 or class 7 are both learner license G2 or class 5 are both Normal license

Thanks for the video. One question though, if we have our country of origin driving license we dont have to wait 1 yr after doing the G1? Can someone kindly elaborate on the time frame of waiting between the stages? So lets say you want to work as an uber driver for a start (to get you going) you have to wait 2 yrs at least? I hope am getting this wrong
Thanks for the link I just took the three practice test and then the exam and passed all one the first try and after taking them Canada’s test is in many ways a lot like America’s tests so I’m not sure if you want to put it in one of your videos but I would tell people that have a drivers license in there own country to definitely look into it because if they are planning to move to Canada or America the test are a lot a like and may be for other countries

Ahmed Bayoumi Expired licences won’t be accepted. Get it renewed before attempting to get it exchanged to Canadian license.
Should say Ontario instead of Canada as each province has its own driving license policy. If you talk to people from BC, they won’t know what G license is.

Check if the country from which u have driving license has reciprocal agreement with Canada. In that case u won’t need to do the road test. U will just convert ur license.

Nope, you do not have to take Class 7 if you have G1. They will charge you some money for the new card but no test.

That was a great video.. I already have my bike n car license in Dubai. Can also get an international drivers permit if needed. Wanted to know how many days will it take to get a full lic if u move fast (just an average time frame in your opinion )and is possible to do car and bike simultaneously.
I got my full Class 5 (car) license in 30 days after I arrived in Canada. It took me 60 days to get my full Class 1A Truck license.
My intake is on May. I decided to learn driving and pass the driving test before coming in Canada in May in my home country. My experience will definitely be less than others. Will I be able to skip G2 test with my very less experience in driving in my home country?

No u still need pass the knowledge test and get class 7.....u only skip the basic test and go directly to advanced test that saves u over 120 bucks

A driver's abstract is a document from your home country's licensing authority that indicates for how long you had your license and if you have any endorsements or serious violations and whether your license has ever been suspended. Basically just a summery or history of the license you had. In all honesty, even though I had mine, nobody ever asked for it and whenever I presented it to the licensing authority here in Canada they said it means nothing and did not even look at it. You can use your Irish license for 3 months only, but if you get an International Driver's License before you leave Ireland, you will be good for a year.

S M I L E plz if u have more than 2 years of driving experience in ur home country, then u will apply for exemption and do the road test. U don’t have to wait. Make sure the license from your home county is in English or provide attested translated copy

They can still make you do the road test and knowledge test in Canada. Sometimes will let you skip one of the 2 road tests. I had to do everything over when I had a full licence from Ukraine and 5 years of driving experience.

Ali Shaban if you are coming to Alberta, you will have to hand over your original UAE license together with driving experience certificate from RTA. First you should do the knowledge test (Class 7) then apply for exemption so that you can take the road test immediately. It takes about 3 weeks for them to approve and you will be given the chance to do the road test and get class 5 full. If you are coming to Ontario, you should still bring the ur UAE driving license and RTA experience certificate. However, in Ontario they will not take ur original UAE license from you and u will have a chance to do G Road test after passing the knowledge test (G1).

Take a course with a driving school. The Airbrake Endorsement is difficult to pass. Even if you don't take the course, you will still need a truck to go for the Road Test and nobody will just let you have a truck to use. I paid $3800 for a 40 hour course. But you must first get your car license before you can go for your truck license. First you do Class 5 Knowledge test. Then Class 5 Road test. (car) Then you do Class 1 (truck) Knowledge test. Then Airbrake Knowledge test. Then When you have to do your Class 1 Road test, you must know how to do the pre-trip inspection, then your airbrake, then backing up between two rows of traffic cones and then go out in the traffic. If you pass you get your Class 1 A Full license.
