For some reason I thought this series was for the month of September. 🤦♀ That must have been when I heard about it? Wow, now I'm thinking how much I can read with the whole year. 🤣
@@BookZealots I did start Serious About Series. That is what people are referring to when they talk about their SAS list. But of course lots of people do various challenges regarding series.
YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE! The Serious About Series Video!!!! Thank you Elizabeth! This was so fun to watch!! Always a joy to 'wake up with Elizabeth on LizziefayeLovesBooks!' :) xoxo.
I was just looking over my shelves this morning trying to decide which series I want to focus on in 2025. I'm so happy you're continuing the SAS challenge!
Oh what fun! I am definitely going to play along with Fun with 5's and have my first three categores picked out - 5 new series to start, 5 series to make progress on, 5 automatic buys. Then I am thinking of two more - in the wings would be one of those
Looks like you had a great reading year especially with series! I’m Hoping to participate in SAS this year just need to figure how I want to do it! Take care Elizabeth! 💜
Hey Elizabeth, I don’t know if you know by now from the mention of The Daughter of Bookwomen of Troublesome Creek there is also a children’s book by the author called JUNIA about the donkey. And yes there is going to be another book in the series, The Mountain We Call Home, A BookWoman’s Legecy. No release date yet but 2026❤😊
I love this series challenge! I'm going to choose five series in five categories (cozy mystery, Christian Fiction, genres etc.) and once I've finished all the books in a series, I'll add another one and see how far I get by the end of the year. Thanks for the inspiration.
I currently have 4 lengthy series I'm working on consistently, reading 1 or 2 books per series, a month. I think I'll add a 5th "slot" for those series where I have, say up to 3 books till I'm finished or caught up. It's so satisfying to finish/catch up with series. Thanks for the video!
Love all the seriousness about tracking your series reading. I've never been good at that except for a few favorites like Mitford and Kinsey M. Thanks also for mentioning my Moccasin Cove series. More books are planned. Happy New Year!
Got to make.a spread sheet of where I'm at Have several series i am caught up with nut more that need to be planned out. if I'm liking a series I will binge read to catch up
You did a great job in 2024! In 2024, I continued cozy mysteries series reading 26 books and I read 15 new to me cozy mystery series (binged the entire series). This year, I'm not going to plan for any specific number. I'll just see how many cozy mystery series I continue and how many new cozy mystery series I read at the end of the year.
@@lizziefayelovesbooks I had a wonderful reading year! I do keep a list of the latest book in the cozy mystery series I'm continuing to keep them on my radar but new cozy mysteries I'm just mood reading this year because you never know what great new series might just show up. Also, I'm a series binger so if I pick a lot of long series that will effect the numbers.
Added the needlepoint mystery to my TBR! I want to finish the Little House series and reading through the Stephen King novel list. I sent you an email. I’m not sure if you saw it.
I am most definitely participating in SAS 2025 Fun with Fives and combining it with Stormi's project to binge read series. So I have listed in Category 25 of my Stacking the Series 2024-2025 on Reading Goal Posts Goodreads Group all the series that I have to read one book to complete or catch up in a series as ONEs, then the same for TWOs, THREES, FOURS, and FIVES with these having listed series that I need to read two, three, four, or five books to finish or catch up with the series capping the amount at five for FUN with FIVES. I will message you with those titles separately. The best. D
Fun!
This video is always one I look forward to watching. 😊
Thanks Tammy! It was a long time in the making! LOL!

For fives I think I am going to try and read five books from a few series that are longer to make some progress in them. 😁
Good idea! I like it!
