Altroz iturbo vs diesel
having better build quality, and still almost going equally as fast as the i20, Altroz is a clear winner albeit the service center issues, which if you're lucky you'll find a good tata SS..
Altroz has best time of 18.10 and thats bettee than i20
Altroz only has a better launch because of it being manual. i20 starts slow because it is a dct. But overall i20 is a much faster car.

This proves and apparently shuts mouth of so many people who were cursing poor Altroz for its boring performance this that, I loved to see Altroz crushing i20 in 2nd race even when its down on 10 bhp and several nm torque and also weighs quite heavier than i20, awesome race 😍❤️

@@MrTransporter5 We need to see that as well, been asking for it to various channels let's see some day maybe, as far as I know Altroz Diesel is low on power compared to i20 Diesel but the way Altroz Diesel engine is tuned it has almost no Turbo lag instant pickup in all gears
This was unexpected, awesome, I would love to see non turbo variants doing drag.
Actually altroz will smoke i20 non turbo, as its 4hp more powerful and has just 1nm less torque but that torque comes in at much lower 3300rpm vs 4200rpm on i20(as non turbo is a 4 cylinder motor, also its much smoother engine as compared to altroz or even the bigger i20 turbo)

my friend has a TSI and for the life in my car. I can't keep up with him in any situation(I have altroz turbo).😂
@@shree397 get it remapped with quantum stage 1 and smoke that TSI 😂😂 (but don't mention about remap when you race it and just say “it's the driver not the car”😂)
@@adityaaryan3883 I kind of don't want to cheat I love the TSI, the only reason I bought altroz turbo because Polo us discontinued, and the only model I was getting was GT or top spec automatic, which is the same basically. And I am a manual gay,
but one day very soon hopefully I am going to buy a used TSI manual and tune it to stage 3 (183hp 245+nm ) at Autodisir performence🤞🏻

Both won, it is tie. On paper, Hyundai has good spec. Of course similarly Tata has bigger engine on paper but less torque. Winning the drag race with DCT gear box is not only difficult for Hyundai, but also for VW. But these DCT gearboxes are king in terms of roll on acceleration as compared to manual gearbox.

I can already see whose the Chappri here, not knowing the Altroz Iturbo weighs around 1030 KGs and I20 Turbo around 1070 KGs lol. If Manual I20 existed, then Altroz would have been watching the Tailamps, DCT has its Lagg in the start which really bogs the car down compared to the no Lagg Manual Transmission. You may want to watch more Pogo

Altroz actually beat the i20s best time from the first round i.e 18.50s in round 2 where altroz did best of 18:10s.

Price Gap doesn't really matter here. Cause the Price gap is due to Features
@@25StevyLovesDaddyTata Altroz is pretty feature loaded. The main price gap is due to engine and transmission. 1 lit turbo with DCT is bound to cost more.

Never rely on Hyundai's on paper specs. On road performance is acceptable although far short of what they appear on paper. Ditto for Kia.
Coz of the soft suspension. And yeah Hyundai owns Kia...so that explains it

The in gear acceleration is that i20 is really good..... it really pushes you..... You should also try rolling races next time

It's because of bs6 norm, tata couldn't give the same monster 1.2 turbo from JTP. So they had to reworked the engine fitted with that massive catalytic converter which controlled the exhaust and limit the power.

The Venue IMT beat the KIA DCT before (this same channel)...so its very much likely that the i20 IMT would have performed better than the dct counterpart. Would have loved to see the altroz race with that

I turbo has the same specs of JTP turbo engine and both engines are similar.
Bs6 norm has ruined performance, that's why tata couldn't give a 1.2 turbo JTP engine...

It’s this dct that’s extra slow to start off with. And drag race is what it is - changing that for a car wouldn’t make sense…

WHO TF MEASURES POWER IN PS????!!!
We had a Indica Top model from 2001. The engine was fabulous. It was way more powerful than any hatchback at that time even more than some sedans but the car was such a headache. Its interior parts were a mess. Something or the other would just go wrong every other day. Even the shocks had to be replaced within 6 years. Major problem was with the exhaust system. Had to change atleast 6 times in 10 years but it was pleasure to drive the car.
Please just chage the goddamn conditions you race in! It's getting sort of annoying day by day seeing the wet track soo frequently!
We tried. But we couldn't find a mermaid to sacrifice to the weather gods for a clear day.
