Saying these because sometimes media houses can be biased too. And people buy Hyundai because they are reliable and have good sales and after sales service. Tata though being there for so long couldn't establish itself as a reliable brand till now. Everyday someone or the other is complaining about some issue or the other. Like a guy's new Harrier with only 15k kms on odo was leaking engine oil. Then there was another incident where the rear axle of a Tiago just came off on the highway. And Tata Motors service centers are the worst place to visit. They treat you like your slaves or you are doing them a favor same goes for the showroom guys. They are not interested selling you a car. And Hyundai is known for good quality cars with ton of features. So that's why people buy Hyundai cars because they are more value for money. But Tata is doing well let's see what happens in future. But they still can't take the right decisions yet. They had to tune this engine for more power it just makes a 110hp what's the use of that?

Instead of saying features and tech, they should do drag race, in gear acceleration and handling. Keep it up Motorbeam. In acceleration test, Altroz reaches 60 in 5.9 sec and i20 in 5.3 (65 at 5.9) I think, this acceleration difference made i20 fail the breaking test. The speed it gained was more, so distance to stop could be more as well.
From all angles i20 sharp edges and creases look more beautiful and eye catching form factor, for Altroz I must say "practicality" and i20 design with nice turbo implant.
@Aditya Singhai let me tell you things in detail. Currently altroz only comes in manual as altroz's bay is too small for automatic transmission. And tata is currently testing dual clutch 7 speed transmission which will make its debut on next generation of altroz and the new tata hbx will also launch with dct from day 1.

I don't know much about drivability aur any brake feel and all because i driven many cars but I've been a passenger in a lots of vehicles and i cannot stress more on the fact how planted and stable tata cars are and how well they filter through undulations even on a triple digit speed it stays rock solid

i 20 has more width and lower ground clearance that makes it more stable and it does not roll on curves. I guess rest depends on who is driving. I have driven both the cars and after a lot of tests driving them as an engineer and an auto enthusiasts. Except for the price i20 was the best and eventually bought it. But my second option after i20 was and will always be Tata Altroz.
Now chance I 20 is lighter then altroz it can easily loss traction as compare to altroz only low slung doesn't play role in stability at high speeds the car which is will be heavier that will be gud at handling at high speeds
@NishantSharma-rj8cv even the base variant i20 comes with a spoiler so at higher speeds the car gets a better grip... I have been driving it on longer routes and I feel confident with its stability.

Well..I'll choose Tata Altroz, anyday over i20.. although I already have a car..but Tata cars have really improved a lot..apart from its best raw materials now it's even great in the design, engine & handling aspect..abhi mere ghar k samne me hi 2 Altroz new li ha..dekh kr bas lalach aa rha ha..

i20 is the better car as a package but altroz is value for money if u can live with tata's renowned After sales services !! And one thing i have noticed after owning Tiago for 4 years is despite good built quality Tata cars don't age well as in small problems keep on proping up paint quality is not good , dashboard rattles etc etc!!

i 20 has more width and lower ground clearance that makes it more stable and it does not roll on curves. I guess rest depends on who is driving. I have driven both the cars and after a lot of tests driving them as an engineer and an auto enthusiasts. Except for the price i20 was the best and eventually bought it. But my second option after i20 was and will always be Tata Altroz.
Now chance I 20 is lighter then altroz it can easily loss traction as compare to altroz only low slung doesn't play role in stability at high speeds the car which is will be heavier that will be gud at handling at high speeds
@NishantSharma-rj8cv even the base variant i20 comes with a spoiler so at higher speeds the car gets a better grip... I have been driving it on longer routes and I feel confident with its stability.

@@lesstoxic5619 Dct is faster in shifts done in a linear manner..But when you will accelerate hard in dct then it takes it time to shift..That's why manual will accelerate faster then dct..Try to get some basic knowledge dude..You made my point only at the end..You can check any car in manual and there automatic variants..Manuals are quicker..
