My favorite part of this video is that everyone looks like they're genuinely having fun and enjoying themselves. David cracking up in the back made it just that much better, and Sam simply just looked happy to be there. There was so much of a good vibe going on here that it totally just re-wrote my mood and made it 20 times better.

And the fact they have talked about how bad this zoo thing was and like it looked like this was a time they looked like they enjoyed being there, ( the only reason they said it was bad because it was 72 days stirght hardly any breaks and it just sucked in a way David even threw out his back sadly

I wish I could like your comment a million times. I really miss the humans, (& Jon of course, my favorite robot) they were the best part of SPG imo; made the band more "relatable" for lack of a better word. Having them there just made more sense.
I just miss the banter, how they used to bounce off of each other. I love everything else that they have now, however.

Is this live show in particular like 10x more charming and wholesome than all the others or is it just me? The whole crew seems SUPER cheerier than usual here. Or maybe I haven't seen enough of these live shows yet.

I'm pretty sad that I lost track of this band.
Rabbit cracks up Michael, Michael cracks up spine, Michel cracks up The John and then The John cracks up Michael. Then Rabbit cracks up Spine and then Spine cracks up Rabbit. Meanwhile, Steve is off stage having a stroke. It's like I told two neighbor kids. They told me they are starting their own band (about 7 years old...too cute) And they said that they are trying to think of funny stupid stuff to do on stage. I told them they don't have to think up funny stupid stuff to do on stage....it just happens all by its self. lol

I was outside the zoo at this point. I got to listen to this a little bit. I had just learned about SPG the week before and was coincidentally on a trip to San Diego. So I really really wanted to see my new found favorite band. I love you guys. I'll miss The John, but sure that it is always going to be this good!

Every older fan does, I think...
I think that it demonstrates their ability to perform so well. They've expressed numerous times that in this era: they were literally starving at points. They joke about their thinness, and it was because they continually maxed out their credit cards just for food. David once shared a story in their podcasts of Steve showing up with a bag full of canned food. They declined, but he forced it into their hands. It certainly feels care free to us. But for them, it was complete hell. I admire them for the fact that they moved on from this era.

do you know that from 4:40 - 4:44 i thought they were the actual lyrics and i was like "yeah that makes sense because its like the opposite of a double negative because you do, do things that you shouldnt do" is like "dont not do things that you should do because thats bad." or along those lines so now i basically sing these lyrics so thanks Rabbit, or rather Michael who needed a new guitar~ :D

The whole robot act was better in this period than it is today. Don't get me wrong, they are still great, but it kinda seems they stopped trying that much.
