I know other might find it annoying or rude, but I actually thank the people who record some live shows. I'm sitting in germany with no way to go to America, not to mention to ever see them live. So thank you for recording, so I have a little SPG experience ^^
Awwww, thanks, BUT one must always be courteous to the performers, Whether it be actors in a play, or musicians, one must always have as little flash/lights as possible to prevent distraction. Hopefully one day you'll be able to see them as well. :D
That is very true, and I couldn't agree more! And I will! When they're in Lincoln this year, and I am very excited. Still, thanks for the recording! It helped me fall in love with the band even more x3
I see a bunch of people saying how they wish they could see them live and all so I have a few things to say 1) In no time you probably will be able to! Don't give up. 2) I'm still recovering from meeting them. All absolute angels, Rabbit is PRECIOUS as hell. She just radiates happiness. I love them so much.
Hey random question... Would you guys like for me to upload the Brass Googles performance as well? I didn't want to originally, since my camera died towards the end, and I decided to sing along and it's cringe worthy. XD
That is upsetting but my mom would understand. I am sooo sorry. I hope they do someday and I hope that you get to be accepted like her and me. Til then I have your back
Indeed. It was a wonderful experience to see them live and the I got to meet Internet friends there as well. Got to go in an awesome cosplay and was introduced to Korean BBQ for the first time. It was a wonderful experience. And most definitely. I honestly wanted to share my experience with everyone!

Rabbit's mime is very precise during this performance. It sure would be great to see them at the Milton Steam Show in Ontario, Canada, but I guess that is very unlikely to happen.
A little bit hopeful of me asking, but did you happen to record the improv that happened between Rabbit and Hatchworth when David's microphone died? I really enjoyed that bit and hope somebody caught it
I unfortunately wasn't able to capture that part since my camera was dying, so I chose to only record most of the song. But if I had a spare battery, I would have loved to have captured it all. So sorry I wasn't able to.
I honestly don't think Clockwork Vaudeville is complete without Jon's scream in the middle of the song. I get that he isn't in the band anymore, but it saddens me a little how they removed him almost entirely from the lore.
Yeah, if Jon didn't have scheduling issues, what was the hatchworth era would've been insanely fun... I really miss the guy, but I respect there decision to part ways... just sucks how all of the alt rock+blues shenanigans he brought aren't really anything without him. It would be cool if they had a lil get together, Spine and the Jon in their old costumes, and a reworked, more feminized, version of 2c show era Rabbit. They'd play some shows, give Jon a hug, and that would be that.
Could anyone bother explaining to me what's up with the change of people and costume? I've listened to SPG for a bit, but I recently decided to dig into their content. I know they went from four members to three, but these aren't the three I'm familiar with...
The Spine and Rabbit are the same 'people' (used in air quotes for semi-obvious reasons). The Spine (fedora) added some lines to his makeup as well as the spine...fins. Rabbit (tophat with goggles) turned out to be a transgirl, and thus she transitioned. This was written into their backstory in-that apparently Walter always intended to make Rabbit AS a girl but..well, elephants and whatnot. Hatchworth (Bowler hat) was previously a drummer for SPG, but joined in as a robut after The Jon left. Upgrade was the first to leave, primarily due to a combination of 1. not being able to hold a tune 2. Being terrified of live singing and 3. deciding to seek her own acting career. Jon was the second to leave, primarily due to losing his drive (to my knowledge). Various things and conspiracies rose up around this, partly due to a combination of fan speculation, The Jon lacking an online presence (and not wanting to add to it), and The Jon's parents seemingly demonizing the rest of the band for...betraying him, or whatever. For any other info, I'd recommend checking out their website.
I have a funny feeling its somekind of electtric-acoustic, been looking for tge brand for awhile to find the exact guitar. I'll get back too when I've got it!
Hey! thank you for sharing! but I actually have a couple questions that are slightly confusing me because I'm actually going to an SPG concert for the first at Akon 27 in June (it's actually my first ever concert that I've ever been to :D) so I was wondering, since you are so close, do you have to have a certain ticket to be that close or is it just who ever gets there first? Also, do you know if there is special tickets (such as VIP) to meet them it even attend the concert? I'm sorry to bombard you with questions, I'm just pretty nervous that I'll buy the wrong stuff. If you can't answer these questions, I understand, but thank you anyways! ♥
+Alexiation Yes indeed. Oh and no worries, I'm more than happy to oblige. I ended up buying VIP tickets where we were given seats and a closer view. Afterwards we were the first to meet up with the Band when you went to go buy any of the merch., but since there was too many of us, and it was such a small venue, we couldn't stick around and get pictures with them or anything. Some tried, but it was mostly with them, signing their stuff. Though if I'm not mistaken, David mentioned that the Akon performance, is more of a question of buying the "pass" (to the actual Con) so that you COULD see them. So I'm not sure if getting a front row seat is going to be on first come, first serve basis. (Hehehehe, I'm looking on the website and they misspelled the band's name. XD) If you want, you can try and talk to David on his tumblr, just to be safe. He has been for than happy to answer the fans questions. :D Hope this helps. :D

Broke: Hatchworth isn’t as good as miming
Woke: Hatchworth is just well-oiled
I mean, The Spine and Rabbit/Bunny's been at this for literally 10 or so years now.
hatchworth is the ONLY one who remembers to get frequent checkups to maintain himself (and his mustache)
Man, seeing this in 2022, I wish the pandemic just didn’t exist all together- I WANNA GO TO ONE OF THESE SHOWS SO BADLY!!
You and me both. I revisit this time and time again. To remember what it was like when I went, and how surreal it would be doing it now.

halfway through fancy shoes I realized that spine and hatchy changed instruments... HOW DID I MISS THIS??
