Great video! I've always wanted to go on these sort of adventures, so I'm thinking of getting a G310 GS soon as a beginner's adventure bike. Will that bike qualify, should I choose to join you guys come your next riding events?
The adventure is in you, that's for sure. The bike is secondary. A G310GS may struggle to keep up with the big GS on the highway but will have little problem going on lovely adventures.
Great adventure..i love to have this type of adventure and touring bike, but im a 164cm tall..a shorter me left my dream to have this bike only just a day dreaming..but i believe u guys, esp mr silas have a tips/riding techniques to share for shorter rider so that they have confidence to own and ride this bike. @@aimanakaostonpunyachannel7470 with carnet, just go thru, if I'm not mistaken. If not, then a fair bit of paperwork lah. Like obtaining an invitation from a bike week organiser or bike club from Indonesia and then writing in to Majlis Keselamatan Negara and submitting documents like passport, IC, roadtax, green card, insurance cover note, Vaccination cert,.... the whole works. Obtain permission from Bea Cukai, JPJ, Police....

My buddy Jocelyn Snow is only 155cm and she instructs onboard the R1250GSA.
164cm is tall enough to handle these beautiful machines.

For a casual ride, you will need to fill up a clearance form and possess a vehicle carnet in order to get thru to Indonesia.
