Oh my, what a glorious smile she has.
She is a very positive person. Always happy.
Yes, she is very interesting and friendly, but Mark complained all the time, being in South America, "in the middle of nowhere" not bothering to be selfish and rude to the Chilean girl, who always smiled trying to be close, but not really what he likes. He'll be happy when he's in the Northern Hemisphere again, and of course without the sensual Chilean.
I'm insanely jealous.
May the wind be always at your back.
Cool vid! Man I did all Patagonia on motorcycle in winter time in 2017…. It was tough….. and cold!!!
Good job. Like many others who will watch this video -- I rode my bike in 2018 from Miami to Ushuaia on a R1200GSA. Many of your adventures and locations traveled, roads and winds are very real and memorable for me. I've been to South America 2 other times -- once to go to Antarctica via Chile and Argentina and the other for a month hiking in Peru. Like you, I don't speak a spit of Spanish -- so my experiences are similar. Keep them coming. Last year before the shut down -- I rode from Miami to Thailand -- only crossing water at the Atlantic -- between Toronto and London -- otherwise, all landlocked. This time, I took a BMW F850GSA -- much easier on the crap roads for the route. Keep these coming.
As a young hobbyst photographer trying to break into the world of professional photography while finishing up grad school, I thank you infinitely for the wealth of invaluable information that you've shared over the years! And thank you for these amazing travel blog videos! Not only fascinating, but your work gives me hope I can one day reach my dream of owning my own photography studio while also traveling the world and capturing its beauty before I leave this Earth.
Much love, peace and blessings. keep up the amazing work inspiring and teaching young photographers. It makes all the difference in the world!
Wish you great success in your photography adventures
Amazing and very inspirational and motivational video Mark, well done, thank you for sharing it!! 👍👍
Such a good, high quality video, well done! Thanks so much for sharing!
Yes, that's my dream too. Passing through Patagonia, to ride on that famous highway!
I have followed your training and videos about photography for years. Now I find you share my passion for adventure riding and I am delighted. This was an exceptional video about an adventure that I had planned and was forced to cancel years back. Thanks so much for sharing. I hope that your guide Eyleen has gotten her bike back operational and is also doing well. Thanks again.
We’re riding again. This time in Colombia. ua-cam.com/video/b_qkDEGP0Ho/v-deo.html
Spectacular your road story, from someone who has also traveled a lot and knows the difficulties and beauties that we found, big hug.
wow what an amazing video! It´s the firstrone I see. You get a new follower.
thanks so much for this brother! I recently drove a rental car from Buenos Aires to Patagonia (just the northern tip really - Puerto Madryn). It was a wonderful adventure but i saw so many people riding motorcycles on those remote roads - even local grandmas and kids - that I knew I need led to 1. Learn how to ride a motorcycle and 2. Commit to the adventure that I immediately came back to the states and started plotting my ride. I love your channel and your sense of wonder! - not just wanderlust although that’s ok too - but your appreciation for the beauty of nature. That’s what’s motivating me to get my shit together and get down there. Thank you!
Simply wonderful. Thanks for sharing.
Wow. Thank you for sharing. Such beautiful places.
Excellent video!! Thanks for sharing it!!!!!
It is very interesting and was for me an eye opener.
I certainly did a double take to verify it was you Mark in this video.
Myself having an interest in adventuring moto, seeing you in this video was a real appreciation.
Spending many moments in the past viewing and learning the photographic tips from your Adorama videos and their store has been very helpful. Thank you
I try to understand your stay as best as we all can in these times.
Good times ahead to ya!
Glad you enjoyed it. I've been traveling full time since 2014. www.markonabike.com for all the fun stories
Nice video! always good to share travels with a fellow rider, and better if that rider is from the place you want to explore and can show you "secret" places away from tourism... When you said you were 7 months in Argentina I also remebered another rider/youtuber that was travelling the south americas and was in quarantine there for a long time too, maybe you heard from him, Pedro Mota... Thanks for taking the time to editing and sharing your videos!
marvellous video. thank you.
Great video !!! You guys are living the dream ! Keep it up , keep us inspired
Have you seen our Colombia tour? It was so fun. It's on my travel channel: ua-cam.com/users/shiftydrifty

Beautiful landsvape brooooo
Hi Mark, I am pleasantly surprised to meet you here on your motorcycle channel. I used to see some photography videos of you on you tube, but I didn't know you had a motor adventure channel. So I subscribed right away. Basically we have the same hobbies, photography and motorcycling. You can mainly find me in Scotland and Scandinavia. Grt, Marc from Belgium.
Waoooooo I just enjoyed the vodeo ,adventures soooooo amazing with that sounds behind the videos soooooo beautiful
Great vidéo mate!! Wonderfull journey!! I wish you had chose the T7 for this world trip!!

Nice life & i like.
Greetings from Timor Island, Indonesia 😇
Great!
Wow... Beautiful journey with a beautiful companion, i will like to have such a journey any time in my life... cheers
So much cool ride
Mark and Alyeen what a great documentary...Loved every minute of it because I have traveled by motorcycle on all of these areas and I ay m trying to go north...Stuck for three days in Chaiten and heavy rain and cold....I so wish I could see the sunshine like you both had....The little town that Alyeen forced you to stay at I also spent the night there....Wow what an adventure....This area cause me to stay another month because I broke my leg on 40 North of Tres Logo in the sticky mud which blocked my wheel and cause the bike to fall over ...so now in April winter is coming fast
Wow, what an adventure! I hope your leg is all healed now!
I really enjoyed your trip... hope that you meet Ayleen again.. she looks like a caring loving girl.
Nice trip, I'm a motorcyclist in Brazil, come back one day traveling through my country that will be welcome. I've already ridden this route that you show in this video, it's one of the most beautiful in South America.
Nice job Mark !! After I'm done here in Mexico I'm heading south for sure.
Nice GS - you've got Touratech panniers?
How was your Garmin? Mine totally busted on my GS.
Any gear recommendations? Which map graphic software did you use?
Overall nice setup. Keep up the good work & stay healthy !
Wow 😮 after seeing this, I feel like this is a new aspiration of mine to see Patagonia in person.
Do it! This is just one corner of Pagagonia. You could spend a lifetime there.
Love your channel Mark
Hey Mark! Great trip! We met returning from Ushuaia on Magallanes Ferry (those two HDs) and I was happy to receive the alert from youtube about your video. In case you ride through Brazil let me know! Ride on! Cheers from Floripa!
Very cool! Yes, I remember meeting you! So glad to hear from you. If I make it to Brazil I will send you a note.
@@MarkWallaceVideos Grande Mark!!! Meus parabéns pela trip, as verdadeiras histórias acontecem na estrada. Em 2 ou 3 anos pretendemos ir até o Alaska. Quem sabe nos encontramos no caminho, talvez no Arizona. Forte abraço!!!
Para lembrar

@ That is so cool!!!!!! Obrigado por compartilhar este vídeo!! Que incrível. Isso é o que eu amo em viajar - a comunidade.
Patagonia is incredible. Is it any wonder that an outdoor clothing company would brand themselves "Patagonia." A slow trip through Patagonia is near the top of my bucket list, but I better do it soon because I'm 63yo.
Well, at least, I lived in the US Pacific Northwest (a place which also has an abundance of natural beauty) for 16 years of my life and took as much advantage of that situation as I could, considering that I was working for Microsoft 50-70 hours/week.
my next trip for sure.
Great video! It came up on my feed and after watching it I thought,I’ll checkout your other motorcycle travel videos and there isn’t any? Are you planning more? if not you produced a great one 🍻
Awesome, thank you! I have a channel just for all the travel videos. Lots of motorcycle footage and adventures. ua-cam.com/users/shiftydrifty
ua-cam.com/video/bigqVcm_w20/v-deo.html
Very nice and interesting videos...almost same bike (2012 GSA) and same passion for photography what a better channel to watch:-)
Welcome aboard!
23:15 Mountain winds can be wicked. On major highways in mountainous areas of the US, you will often see signs warning of strong crosswinds. (Is "mistral" only a term for the European mountain winds, or any?) In South America, many of these winds end up dumping into the Straits of Magellan. (They are also the reason that it is suggested that the best place for camping in mountains is neither the valley nor the tops but in between.)
Very nice Mark
Thanks a lot for sharing all these beautiful moments / landscapes and connections with people
What happened to ayleens bike eventually? Electronic or something different ?
Cheers
Matthieu
Beautiful beautiful place. I would love to do all that on my motorbike.
Great trip and what a great girl Ayleen is. You guys looked close :)
Excelentes imagenes y muy buenas fotos. Que máquina fotografica usas?
I loved this video. Makes me wanna jump on my bike and head south. Stupid covid, hope this passes soon. Are you still in Argentina?
Nice and great job man
Carretera Austral is our chilean far west, s place where every thing must done but in the good way. Patagonia is our last chance for survive to the global warmer
Good luck
I had trouble with wind when I had a GSA. I had to do some travel on the interstate Highway, and winds were blowing,e sideways. I had full panniers and top case. They aren’t very aerodynamic. I got off and took longer side roads home, and that was very nice, in the Ozarks of Arkansas. So I didn’t mind that at all. It was just dangerous in high winds.
Very nice video. You must be happy you made it there before COVID tho hit. I wanted to go to Alaska this summer but border crossings is not an option this year. What happened to Aileen’s bike by the way?
Que hermosa es mi Argentina 🇦🇷😎💪
jaja la mayor parte del viaje fue en chile
GREAT, GREAT, GREAT. Thank you.
Thank you!!
yeah beybe! your new subscriber from the Philippines
Nice video. Fantastic scenery. I lived in Chile for 2 years a long time ago. Longing to go back one day. Greetings from Sweden.
Mark in short I say Adventure is your riding story well done all a around 🏍✅🌈
Good luck Make!
What year is your BMW 1200GS? Also, what is your opinion as to the weight of the bike, and the wet clutch (>2013) vs dry clutch (

Heh this gives kind of a distorted view of what traveling with a bike is like.
very nice lo ciento mucho por arlyn pero creo que fue lo mejor para ella por lo de la pandemia nice video bro 👍
Great 👍
Started a conversation with my coworker Kevin Paine about Cameras and guess what Mark? He was like Ge, we used to have a coworker .... bla bla bla! Stories and More Stories about Mark! I was like Kevin, he doesn't have like a Facebook page or Instagram ? Wow, all I can say is I love the content and you have a new subscriber from Costa Rica (Intel Inside)! Pura Vida Mark.
Haha!! That’s amazing. Ask Kevin about our days of free chipotle. 😁 I have many good memories of those days.
@@MarkWallaceVideos hahahaha I just told Kevin and he said yeah Ge so this girl at Chipotle... bla bla... and then after we got our orders she will say: "It's on us guys !! lol", so funny... Pura Vida Mark... So Kevin told me to ask you if you know a guy name, John Mark. ??
Mark, did you do videos on photography?? Just discovered your channel, I'm a fan. Thanks for sharing and safe travels.
I still do videos on photography. :) You can find hundreds of them here on my channel, new uploads regularly on Adorama TV, and new classes on Creativelive.
hi Mark...I followed many photographic tutorials from you on Adorama. i was surprised to see you doing this. so will you do any photography on your adventures?
Hi Joseph. I’ve been traveling full time since 2014. So anything you’ve seen since then has been made while riding. 🙂
What’s a beautiful landscape in the Chilean Patagonia
If ever i got enough budget like you and personal bike like yours i can come with you everywhere.
Brilliant. Enthralled. What a ride. What was the bike problem?
That happened to me in deep in the highlands on Iceland on the same bike. The problem was that a stone had flown up and hit the side stand sensor. That would have been the first thing I checked and I bet that was the problem. GSs don't just stop running unless they run out of gas. Bummer she had to abort the trip.
super trip
