AHHH, thank you so much for the shout-out at 12:51! So glad people can learn from my plant dipping experiment. I love the plants I bought from you; keep up the awesome work!
My plants come in today and I love your videos...All of them. They're easy to follow and actually teach. I'm listening to you two and following directions exactly. Thank you both.
This covers several missing pieces I've been searching for. I am a newbie, i started my first tank in March 2023. Thank you so much. Is there a video explaining how to plant different plants?
That’s why I love this site to buy plants from. They’ll recommend you to buy from local people they don’t try to promote themselves only. They also actually check you’re location too see you’re temperature. Not much companies do. 5 stars from me.
have a small emmersed setup going. keep some, especially the stubs u cut off before planting. the regrowth will ALWAYS come handy when u rescape or setup another tank
I need to look through your videos for substrate for plants. I recently bought Flourite from PetSmart. I hated the amount of cleaning that had to be done, it just seemed to take forever because it was wet and had lots of fines in the bag to wash out. The plants really like it though so I'm probably going to use it again. I would be interested in your opinion and I am off to look for videos you have made on substrate.
Nice video...side note, dont dip in copper solution if you have shrimp. UV wands are amazing but pricey... Salt dips and hydrogen peroxid dips also work, but they must be very short duration dips and then thourough wash offs/soaking
Just wanting to see if i got this right. So when i recieve a potted plant its better to submerge it in your tank with the pot to get used to the water parameters? And then plant them later? The exception is stem plants and rhyzomes
Hey there, I'm currently planning my set up for a planted tank (70L), and I'm planning on getting some specific substrates that hold the nutrients and further help the plants become established as you mentioned, but I'm just wondering if I should also be doing a layer of gravel substrate at some point? Thanks 😊
I've found that some sites and some plants can't ship to California due to customs/laws/whatever it is. :/ My main concern is that my apartment building collects the packages and mail and I have to check for a package slip and sign for it... And they don't always have all of packages sorted and stuff the day of delivery. I think the plants probably will be fine, especially if I fuss about how my packages are live and time-sensitive and need them right away, but... I definitely won't be ordering fish, that's for sure!
If you are near L.A. try CKs fish world in west covina. And check out SCAPE. Members from that club could definitely point you in the right direction for Cali aquascaping
I keep a P.O. Box for the purpose of special items that I cannot trust to be left on my door step when i'm not at home. Not only does this help ensure your package does not get diverted or stolen, you can also use the post office app to notify you of when a package is delivered and you will always be ready when it arrives. As for UPS shipments, I use their app also and have standing delivery orders that nothing goes to my home address, but is instead left at the local UPS store about a mile from the house. Again, the app notifies me of deliveries and I go there to pick it up. Diverting it there costs nothing extra other than my gas to stop by there on the way home from work.
Laughing so hard, Washington state is not like Texas with generally the all similar weather.....it has huge mountains and 0 degrees is very rare in the western side (zone 8 gardening) where I am, while pretty typical on the eastern side (like zone 4-5). Having just come from Texas, I understand your comment, but it still makes me laugh. I was waiting for you to say Alaska...which would make complete sense (my husband having grown up there). But regardless, I had no idea that water plants are so sensitive...yes, my raspberry plants had quite a shock going from 90f to 50f when we moved TX to WA, but that is a serious drop.
Hi, noob here... Have had my tank for almost a month now... As you said gravel/sand needs fertilizers, yet some say fish waste is enough to give nutrients for the plants that live within said tank. Is this true or false? To be specific I have a 10 liter tank (I'm guessing that translate to 3 gallons US?), A Betta and a few plants I believe are Amazon swords and hornwort on opposite ends of the tank. Any info is great whether I need any fertilizers or not. Thanks in advance. Love your videos btw.
How much does it cost generally for shipping aquatic plants in the US? Also what method do you ? In South Africa we mostly use a courier which delivers overnight country wide, costs about $8.
It’s been a while for me but if I recall right, it was anywhere from $7 to $20, but most companies do free shipping if you spend over, like $40 or something. Lots of diff deals and options. Wish I’d known back then all that I know now… sigh
Can you please do a video on how to grow "gold coin grass" some people grow it in their aquariums. I have some outside my house and don't know how to care for it. Please. the scientifical name is "Desmodium Styracifolium".
Yea I’ve had my tank cycling on prime for 3 days and have 4 or so days left. I added some anubias congensis and Amazon sword. I have flourish but don’t know when to add it.
Do you know any websites or places that I can buy bundles of plants that don’t cost so much? I found one place online but it doesn’t have the plants that I want and I don’t want to spend $60 on plants that I don’t know how to properly care of nor know if they’ll survive
I got snails in my aquarium from plants. They really aren't a big deal at all unless you have let's say a 2.5 gallon. They won't take over your tank, and since they don't hide... You can just take them out if they are causing problems
Found you when surfing, lots of great information however I have to watch two or three times because you talk waaaaaay too fast...take a breath, slow down and let us absorb your information. Huggs.
Too fast, almost manic speaking. Not enough visual aids and it seems unprofessional. Work on a polished presentation and slow down; salient points and lots of visuals.

Your videos are really helpful. Super thanks!😊
Love your videos!!! So informative....as for the person who said you talk to fast? I love it! LOL. It’s the easiest for me to follow. Carry on!
Uh, no. I've got the video playing at 1.5x speed because I'm impatient. I'm also in work mode, where everything has to be fast.
That’s why I love this site to buy plants from. They’ll recommend you to buy from local people they don’t try to promote themselves only. They also actually check you’re location too see you’re temperature. Not much companies do. 5 stars from me.
Thank you, Justin. This video was really helpful.
Open up the box.
So that is the step I have been forgetting all these years.
Hahaha
We need more people like you in this world 🌎

Great video and full of information, thank you 💯👍👍
Keep doing your thing dude!

Would you also do a similar video for floating plants? This answered my substrate planting. Thanks.
Nice video...side note, dont dip in copper solution if you have shrimp. UV wands are amazing but pricey... Salt dips and hydrogen peroxid dips also work, but they must be very short duration dips and then thourough wash offs/soaking

Hi.
How to deal with runner from the plant. Do you cut and replant the new plant or you keep it connected to the runner ?
Thank you as always for the awesome information that you share with us, and for taking the time . Always look forward to your videos.
Im a beginner and new to plants. I have hard water and I was wondering what kind of plants to put in my tank
Very good information. Thanks
We don’t try to come in we just come in
What do you think of using an Under-gravel filter as a method to ‘recharge’ substrate?
I know that you only sell plant and snails but I would definitely buy fish from h20 plants or mystery snails.

U ever dirt a tank? If ur growing aquatic plants that's the way to go. Ur co2 lvl stays green, feeding is miminamal, no ferts needed.
Did you do a video on the Kessel a80. Does it grow plants? Let us know.
Great content ...👍👍👍👍👍

Thank you for tell yes
I have found that plants bounce back better from to cold then when its really hot
love your channel
Im looking for ludwigia palustris Do you have any? Love the red
🙂
I seem to always have a huge algae bloom when I use fertilizer.....arggggg. I use liquid fertilizer...would tabs not do this?
Is your tank near a window? How long do you leave the long do you leave the lights on ? Are over over dosing?
Do u guys ship to Canada, m
My plant quarantine tank has a few otocinclus and a pea puffer.
Do you ship worldwide?
Plants can go in a tank before being cycled but there won’t be anything for it to feed off of. (No fish waste)
Yea I’ve had my tank cycling on prime for 3 days and have 4 or so days left. I added some anubias congensis and Amazon sword. I have flourish but don’t know when to add it.
H2O Plants that’s kinda what I herd. Just people would add flourish and it would mess up the plants from not being used to it.
Nice, I have just flourish. And 5 little plants. Should I add it soon or at the end of this cycle
Do you know any websites or places that I can buy bundles of plants that don’t cost so much? I found one place online but it doesn’t have the plants that I want and I don’t want to spend $60 on plants that I don’t know how to properly care of nor know if they’ll survive
H2O Plants I know but your plants are to expensive for me, especially because I want a bundle and I don’t want to spend $60 dollars on plants
Oh god I spent $50 on plants. I’m just getting hit w that.
i d like buy from you but i m in Switzerland
Like I've just messaged you great video
do you guys sell Nymphaea micrantha(Tri color lotus)?
Prettiest lotus species for a fish tank! (Bought them from a dutch aquarium plant webstore).
Also, I'm in Australia... any Australian plant sellers you know?
💝☺💝
So...do you have snails in your operation? I definitely don't want snails.
I got snails in my aquarium from plants. They really aren't a big deal at all unless you have let's say a 2.5 gallon.
They won't take over your tank, and since they don't hide... You can just take them out if they are causing problems
Snails are part of the life cycle. 🤙
