Carla Gugino must have fallen on her knees thanking Flanagan when she got these scripts, seeing she got to give one eloquent, damning speech after another to the worst people in the world.
This whole show has like a Final Destination charm where you know who are gonna die but you don't know how they die, and their deaths can sometimes be ridiculously gory but it's campy that way and oh this show is so much more artistic. That whole final scene also reminded me of Stranger Things tho haha, Vecna in his mind lair.
This episode makes my stomach turn. Its so gross, but more than that, it builds the fear from the moment a single drop falls before even the party, so you're sitting there stressing all episode
Eric, Aaron, and Melanie, while the first episode's title consists of a phrase from the first line of Poe's poem "The Raven", the last episode bears the poem's title. The other episodes have the same titles as the following short stories by Poe: "The Masque of the Red Death", "The Murders in the Rue Morgue", "The Black Cat", "The Tell-Tale Heart", "The Gold-Bug", and "The Pit and the Pendulum".
Carla Gugino not getting an Emmy noms annoys me so much but unsurprising given how overlooked Mike Flanagan's previous horror work has been. But her performance(s) in this show is incredible
I love horror movies and I've seen A LOT of them, but the people puddle still gets me, lol. I had a pretty good idea of what was going to happen, not in terms of details but in general, and I was like, "Ew ew ew ew, oh NO!" 😂 This show is so great; it's my second favorite Flanaverse series and the one I've rewatched more than once.
OMG I loved this show! I am so glad you guys are watching this, I struggled to find find good reactors watching this & I love you guys so this is perfect !
I love this show so damn much. Flanagan shows always get so much better on the second episode, after all the set up. Perry’s death is so fantastically gross, I love horror that has the balls to go dark places. And I love how much you dislike Roderick and Juno, there,s a reason all the siblings think it’s awful.

There are two Battlestar Galactica alumni in this episode.
I vote Erik reacts to _The Haunting of Hill House_ and _The Haunting of Bly Manor._
I truly hope Eric decides to dive into the Flanagan Netflix rabbit hole. I specifically need his reaction to Midnight Mass ❤
His reaction to Midnight Mass would be amazing. I’d pay for an extra Patreon tier to see that!
@@kimberlymoeller6552 Absolutely agree
I intend to myself since this was my first Mike Flanagan experience as well.
Do we know if Calvin amd/or Rick have seen The Haunting of Hill House, The Haunting of Bly Manor, and Midnight Mass on their own time ?
@@carriesmith742 Midnight Mass is awesome. Extremely unique story. And Hill House is already a certified classic
20:40 the look on Aaron's face when Melanie said, "I'd go," LOL 😂😂😂
I think he says "I'll remember that"😂
@@pamoweiberezi5315 Full on Telltale series. "Aaron will remember that"
My smile is just so wide when I see Blind Wave reacting to anything Mike Flanagan.

The choice to use the final synth sting of Closer by NIN during that acid fall scene was 🤌🏻 chef’s kiss
Can’t get closer to another person than being literally melted and fused together in a writhing mass of bodies
Eric's face during the "invitation" 😂
Melanie's reaction to Juno and Roderick 🤣🤣
But gurl, why you playin with Aaron saying "I'd go" 😭😭

Haven't been this excited for a reaction binge since succession! Hope Eric does more.

I need eric reacting to the haunting of hill house
I'm surprised you didn't notice, the actress who plays 1980 Maddeline was also in Reacher. She played Roscoe in season 1.
Episode 2 is here let's Go
Well that...happened. I am definitely loving how horrific it is. The brutality of greed and selfishness matched by the violence in death.
I have a VERY HIGH tolerance when it comes to gore but that scene makes me actually nauseous it is so horrible.
It ruins the phrase 'cuddle puddle' doesn't' it.
@@RobertMorgan oh God why..... 🤢
I made the horrible, horrible mistake of eating while watching it.
After you watch each episode look at the Edgar Allen Poe poem or short story with the same title and see the reason for some of the plot choices.
Well, one of the episodes is based on William Willson more than the one the title is from.
Fun fact, the woman who plays young Madeline is ALSO in Reacher! She plays the cop in season 1
Holt shit THAT'S why she looks so familiar lmao
She’s also the star of the new horror Strange Darling
@@Wraiven22i heard that movie is amazing and shes fantastic in it.
Ella Fitzgerald
I agree with Napoleon Usher, you should totally react to Narcos. Its great!!
I love the music in that show.
Listen to the credits!! You can hear the sounds of their death in it.
"I'd go." LMAOOOOOOOO!!!!

Molly Quinn with short hair? daaaaaamn
Does Castle know what his daughter has been up to?
And that's the scene that ruined the phrase "Cuddle Puddle".
Perry's female friend/partner her actress played the daughter of Nathan Fillion on the show Castle
Alexis castle
Molly Quinn
I wish they would react to it.
Detective Aaron is on the case yet again!
