THE TRUTH OF AVATAR ROKU!! - Avatar The Last Airbender Book 3 Episode 6 & 7 REACTION!
It was brilliant how they have Greg Baldwin’s first lines as Iroh be in such an epic moment of such magnitude that the viewer doesn’t even realize the change at first.
akshually, his first line as Iroh was all the way back in Tales of Ba Sing Se.
17:01 The imagery of Zuko appearing behind the dark bars and Iroh is in the open light is so powerful
genuinely impressive how she immediately knew the family tree and said zukos mothers great grandfather lol, most people forget how many generations there were. Shes locked in
The Avatar and the Firelord is one of my favorite individual episodes of not only ATLA, but any TV Series as a whole. It’s a perfect example of lore building and how it ties into the present ATLA series.
ALSO: Have y’all watched Blue-Eye Samurai? GOATED show!
Haven’t seen Blue Eye Samurai but heard a lot of good things!
@@CaraPrezReacts Ok good. Blue Eye Samurai NEEDS to be added to the “Must-Watch” list! It is quite gory as a heads up…
@@CaraPrezReacts *Blue Eye Samurai* is an absolute top tier show!! 👍
Please watch it!! You're gonna love it!
The Fire Lord And The Avatar episode reveal is always a jaw dropper.
I've always found it quite unbelievable that Toph couldn't bend the earth just below the thin wooden floor of the cell and destroy the entire building, but, you know, suspension of disbelief and all. She's been able to see/sense/manipulate earth from much greater distances. One of the VERY few plot holes in this show.
Not too many people know the relation, as the Avatar wanted to hide his bloodline, but Azulon, Ozai's father, found a descendant of Roku and arranged the marriage to Ozai to strengthen their bloodline, joining Firelords and the Avatar. Azulon planned it. She didn't love Ozai, but her family couldn't deny the Firelord.
32:55 Exactly, Toph is crazy powerful but her main disadvantage is that she needs to have physical contact with what she wants to bend. Seeing earthbenders can bend what they can’t touch but Toph can’t.
These 3 episodes (including the last stand-alone episode) is a great example of why AtLA is a _great_ show. It has everything; action for the boys, drama for the girls, silliness for the kids and deep story for the 13+.
This episode from me makes Zuko’s story less of a redemption story and more of a re-affirmation Story if you combine what you learned in this episode with the information learned in book one chapter 12 (the storm)
And now you see why every episode that showed any history was done showing Zuko/aang side by side. Not only are they technically related, they're the same person essentially
Metal-bending is significantly more difficult than regular Earthbending. Toph needs to directly touch the metal to bend it, and all she can do is _literally_ bend the metal rather than freely moving it around like earth and rock.
I also believe that having non-bendable objects in the way inhibits bending, which is why Toph can't bend the earth underneath the building for example.
Nothing makes me roll my eyes harder than the, "X days/hours earlier" setup, but there's enough fun stuff in the episode to save it for me.
A mechanism which only opens through firebending.. located in the firenation. Idk if that's really clever tbh 😅
Dude your girl is so pretty
her name is Cara, and yes she is 😭 and they make such a cute couple 😭😭😭
Why you gotta be like that guys? Hella weird
I think that every time i watch them lol
@@emanonn why weird? the only thing that weird here is you.
I think it was compliments.
at any case, prez & cara being a married couple. are the two of them not already last that I checked? or....?
After that ends there are COMCS like BOOK 4 go react to that afterwards, you will love it if you love zuko at the end of this season. Good luck.
14:14 , "the [level of] betrayal, is Insane."
Us: Bro, you don't even realize how much, yet.
so good reaction as alwaysss, cara loved atla more and more, i still wonder if she will watch korra, im sure she will love it
Our plan is to defo do S1 of Korra to see how she likes it but also how many people will be interested😊
@@CaraPrezReacts Alright, im glad! Ill definitely be watching the reaction. You and your mate enjoyed korra the series, so i think cara will too ❤❤
Korra is a hit or miss compared to ATLA. It's a bit more mature of a story (like Book 3) but also very different in almost every aspect. I liked the first season but lost it after the 2nd. You don't build an epos like ATLA to throw it overboard the next series you do. I don't know... As I said it's a hit or miss on a personal level. It's a good show, but not so much for me as a sequel.
@@Mandred85 its a good show, prez liked korra and the show, its just different from atla. its about personal enjoyment. me personally i liked korra more than atla. atla is just more childish and brings nostalgia, but i relate more to korra
Sozin is surely a megalomaniac
Slight Spoilers For Korra:
Watching Korra and toph saying in this episode "you think friendships can last more than a lifetime" hits really hard😢
@@shahariachowdhury2405 some other eventually brought up that detailed lore continuation in here, especially in this episode (any time soon now, pre-SS03 EP. 06 era days-speaking I mean. heh), after all, huh....
....
I'm sorry, but I cannot for the life of me understand why roku stayed there and attempted to fight the volcano for so long. After buying time for some to escapes, it sure looked like there was a few times he could have hoped on fang and flew out of there. I get it, thats the issue with prequel/backstory re-tellings, your trying to show how we got to the original property, (and I'm not solely referring to this, star wars and the hunger games come to mind). Because don't get me started on how they were able to wipe out all the air nomads in 4 different temples, with one of them being upside down before the age of the blimps, in the short time of the comets effects.
yes....the previous avatar of Raa-
....
the, previous avatar of (their version of) light's story, connected with that world ruler's (two reigning eras before Ozai's term). finally you guys are there with this episode's.
'I suspect we are about to learn a great deal....' (- Sylens), yes.
Have the VAs changed from the original or it has somthing to do with copyrights?
You guys need to watch my teen romantic comedy its an amazing anime
@@100kryzen6 Hrm. on that setting's Anime version, whether the first one's or the remastered one's, yes.
17:56 Toh asking if friendships can transcend life time hits harder after watching korra 🥹🥹
17:57. my friends that have seen korra. it's the moment.
