Saw a guy ride down my hill on this bike. Couldnt help but stop and admire. Quickly rushed home to whack one out real quick, while the memory was still fresh
I have been looking for a good bike vloger for a while now, and I think if found it. You ride well, not undertaking and messing with people and complaining about why they give you grief. Nicely edited intros and good gear talk. You have earned a sub my friend.
The way it feels to sit on it, you described a naked bike lol. The "sport/cruiser feel" is exactly how my monster felt. I love it. That's the reason I'm getting a streetfighter
I just bought this bike and I think it actually feels much lighter than it looks. Easy to turn at all speeds. Had a CB650F and that's about the same weight but feels heavier.
how light? do you get tossed around on the highway with even moderate wind? im looking at this bike for the more cruiser position without sacrificing all that juicy power but i don't like light weight bikes for the wind
@@guitarman0365 It's no lightweight, neither is it a HD. You will have no problems with this bike because of the low center of gravity. I meant that the bike looks heavy but it's really easy to ride. Wind not being an issue is actually 1 of the reasons I love this bike.
Totally agree, took it from the shop and was amazed how nimble it is. I bought it and am progressively finding out how good it is. He needs to maneuver it quicker.
I bought a 15 Red Carbon. What I found amazing about it was how it turned at speed. I also have a 1198 and I was surprised how easily I could lean it in a turn compared to the 1198. It took some time in the seat to feel confident, but once you are, this bike is a hell of a lot of fun!
The Competition Werks exhaust on the Diavel will never have justice served in a video. The bass / depth of the exhaust shakes you to your core if you're standing next to it and blip the throttle. Makes me grin every time in traffic when someone asks me to rev it and you see the "Oh holy sh**" look on their face when you do ;)
I have this bike and is awesome.......I have a triple, inline 4 and L-twin in my stable. This puts a smile on my face every time I ride it :).......The attention to detail in the engineering is something to be admired....bling, bling, bling
Now we're talking a expensive exotic Ducati. Downy was 2Cool to let you ride that beautiful powerful motorcycle. The quality of your camera and video are excellent.
with that muffler that thing is pumping out about 170-175hp. the big difference between sport and touring is how quickly the power comes on, thanks to ride by wire they can change how quickly the throttle plates open per percentage of throttle twist.. like 100% of power within 10% throttle or 50% @ 50% throttle etc. Also you can notice a huge difference in the exhaust note in the different power modes. Something cool about the Ducati engines (which is why there's so much valvetrain noise) they don't have valve springs. They are overhead cam engines but they mechanically both open and close the valves. They have little fork like things that pull the valves closed.. it's part of why they can make SOOO much power from relatively small and light engines.
Apparently valve spring alloys are much better than they were back in the day and Desmodromic valves no longer hold an advantage but ducati still sticks with it
so jealous man, the bike goes perfectly with your red gear too, i think you should steal it...although i wouldnt like to be on downshift83 's bad side xD
Hey man, what can anyone say? It's a Ducati, point blank. :D Lol! Great intro! I love the anchored text touch. I'm always looking for the minor details! It's very difficult to capture a Ducati's soprano exhaust note. The GoPro won't pick up those lows. I usually record my ambient and exhaust with an external device. Best way to capture a real Duc note. Ducatista for life! ;) P.S. It's pronounced "Dee-ah-vel". ;)
Seen this bike in person, i dont like the way it LOOKS. (just my opinion). HOWEVER riding this bike is probably a blast and i can ignore the looks. I would ride this bike if i had one!
+tappedswine Envy? i could buy this bike tomorrow if i wanted to. what im saying is i dont like the way it looks. nothing is wrong with that, like i said it IS a nice bike
+Cuore Sportivo Yes, this exhaust sounds bad in this bike.. I'm still have the stock one in my Monster and the sound is amazing, the only reason that I may replace it later on is because the weight, and obviously for a Termignoni exhaust.
Helmuth R Alpizar Agreed. This exhaust is terrible. Although my opinion on the bike still stands. I rather the sound of an 4 cylinder sports bike but thats my opinion though :P
Italy, Austria and Japan are the best Bike builders! Edit: And I wan't to live near you :( You got a beaches, palms and sand... and what do I get? Rain, Idiots and the Donau ._.
Laura1325 (Lolo ღ) You're not a tree. You are free to go wherever you want to go! Now i'm wondering why we aren't somewhere more exotic. haha I TOTALLY agree, everything Italian is better.
Mrs.C2W I'm 100% Italian, i live in Turin, and yes, we have Ducati, Lamborghini, Ferrari, Maserati, Pagani all this epic constructors..but we have a shitty Governament ahaha :/
***** I am just half Italian but I lived in my uncles hotel in Salerno for 3 years, I totally loved it c: The people are nice, the food is great and I was on the beach nearly every day :D I am every year a few weeks there with my dad, everytime I want to live here again, you'r lucky ;)
I own a diavel carbon red!! Best bike ive ever had, gets so much attention, goes like a super bike and handles awesome considering the size rear tyre. Good video!!!!
I do not get the big fascination with Ducati Triumph on the other hand. So British and been going since 1885. More history, more heritage better value and so fucking British!
Gage Davis Go and google BAE Systems and get back to me. If it wasn't anything to brag about... Why does everyone use it? By the way...Radar was a British invention, so was the microwave. So was the genre of metal music, punk also...Oh and the X-ray machine... We made that too. SO next time you're making a hot pocket in your MURICAN microwave....We made that.
Michael L They make them in England too you know... How about your precious Harley... "Technically speaking, Harley-Davidson motorcycles sold in the United States are not actually made here, but assembled here. Harley contracts manufacturing of parts to plants located all over the world, including Germany, Italy, Taiwan, Japan, and Mexico. Those parts are then shipped to Harley factories here." From the very first page of a google search "where are Harley Davidsons manufactured" so shut it. It's called outsourcing... Everyone does it.
Bought a brand new 2013 Ducati Diavel from Coleman Powersport in Woodbridge Virginia. After just 81 miles it got overheated due to a faulty thermostat. The dealer replaced the thermostat and checked the bike over, but it continued to have other issues. I took the bike back to the dealer a few times, called them numerous times, and finally decided to cut my loss and sold the bike for pennies. And that was my last Ducati!
Nice to see you riding around my hometown... When u first stopped to change the riding modes, u were in front of the high school I went to. Then u proceeded to ride past my neighborhood so that was cool too. PCB is such an interesting place lol.
This is such a tempting bike... The weird design, the brutal engine. And then it's even supposed to be somewhat comfortable. A comfortable Ducati... I need to wrap my head around that one.
4:30 my 150cc bike pops too. The secret is in the exhaust pipe, you loosen it up a bit and since I have to rev my bike pretty hard(to get to that sweet 60 mph) it pops like crazy when I release the accelerator/ Pro racing tips yo.
In PCB. I know these roads! Gorgeous bike. There's one for sale in Lynn Haven which has led me to this video. Strongly considering buying it. I love sports bikes but kind of want a cruiser because my back hates me. Lately anything but a short ride hurts my back.
very nice video first of all, just a comment on the intro. at 51 seconds at the "drop" in the song I was waiting for the bike to startup and rev instead of the guy saying "damn". It would have been so awsome and made the intro flawless ;D
OMG, that bike is insane.! CycleCruza just purchased the 2016 version. But that one has a belt drive and it’s prone to rocks cutting the belt from the belt guard. He loves it. But he is thinking about selling because of that one small problem.
Saw a guy ride down my hill on this bike. Couldnt help but stop and admire. Quickly rushed home to whack one out real quick, while the memory was still fresh
That is pretty strange
Gotta do what you gotta do
respect
😂😂😂
RNineT eats this as a snack
Ducati is little girly bike
I don't know how to ride bikes but I need this one so I can look at it all day long.
+ChuckS117 That would be an expensive piece of art. lol
+chaseontwowheels lol
+ChuckS117 lol
lol
+chaseontwowheels what art isnt?

Jack Dillon Sweet! Welcome to the channel.
Yeah Chase is pretty cool, I also really like Suburban Delinquent and Walterrific if you have not watched them, both are really good.
+Jack Dillon Lol I love how your statement is directed at that english reviewer dude
+Jack Dillon I Recommend Walteriffic
Walter ♥ (nohomo)

It is light. Im not aure where he gets its heavy.
Totally agree, took it from the shop and was amazed how nimble it is. I bought it and am progressively finding out how good it is. He needs to maneuver it quicker.
damn dude, havent been going on youtube for a while but was always subbed to you, your editing skills went 0-100 real quick dude, mad!

Cheah
Spence Rides not a scam at all! -_-
Right?
I love how easy it is to hear the excitement in your voice. Love your videos!
That was a beautifully edited bike intro, that was amazing.
The Competition Werks exhaust on the Diavel will never have justice served in a video. The bass / depth of the exhaust shakes you to your core if you're standing next to it and blip the throttle. I dont really like ducati, but God damn they have really impressed me with this bike, absolutely breathtaking.
Ducati Monsters are pretty gorgeous!
+Shannon Venasse just had a look. I like the style :)
+Nick Tudor my family owns a 1990s monster. It's gorgeous. Also, 916s are breathtaking motorcycles, especially up close
Your whole edited feature gets better every video. Your skills are growing mate.
that bike is a beauty but my favorite thing about it is the sound... ohhhhh yyyyyyyyeahhhhhhh....
Now we're talking a expensive exotic Ducati. Downy was 2Cool to let you ride that beautiful powerful motorcycle. The quality of your camera and video are excellent.
That's a pretty looking bike.
Sexy af
The shots of the bike at the beginning was very professional and very enjoyable to watch.
Amazing job. Beautiful bike. Sweet video.
Wow, the Intro was DOPE !!! :D
Sick bike, definitely the best sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a bike!
Dat 240 rear tire tho =)

exhaust and tuning yes you can, catalytic converters are stupidly restrictive and stock tuning is seriously lean
Crazy how advanced bikes have become over the years, I really like these videos.
I wonder what you'd make of a Hypermotard ;)
***** ...I'd probably just steal it and never come back.
Right answer! haha
***** Amazing bike!
***** If you get the chance it would be really cool for you too try out a Hypermotard
***** If you could actually get it to work, that is.
One of the dopest intros to a bike ever!
Just heard about the wreck. Hope you're ok!
Hayden Jeffcoat where did you hear about that?
Saw it on Instagram. Holly was missing some fairing bits, was on a trailer, and Chase was on top. He looked fine but still.
damn at least hes okay tho!-
I've always kind of had a liking to them. Big freaking wheel in the back, smooth body lines and holy hell that sound!!!
+chaseontwowheels HI! You made a mistake in the description!
The song is Slips & Slurs - Divided! No problem though. SHAZAAAM
Dude, your production values are sky high these days. Love it.

Your editing was the tipping point for me going ahead and buying this bike. Good work
the audio doesn't do the bike any justice I heard a real one n was like wtf is that holy sheet is what I said
Every single video I'm always shocked by the awesome quality I mean wow!! Keep it up man
Seen this bike in person, i dont like the way it LOOKS. (just my opinion). HOWEVER riding this bike is probably a blast and i can ignore the looks. I would ride this bike if i had one!
Idiot
i cant say you'r wrong because everybody have their own opinion. but if you look closely you can see art on this bike
+Oliver Niin Idiot
+tappedswine Envy? i could buy this bike tomorrow if i wanted to. what im saying is i dont like the way it looks. nothing is wrong with that, like i said it IS a nice bike
+Mazxlol don't use the word ugly.. i'm crazy of this bike and you simply say it looks ugly!
First time watching your reviews, the camera work on the details of the bike is exceptional. Thanks!
does this one break every 30 minutes?
+Oriole Alventa Loool
+Fr. Ro cmon they do break down more than hondas and such. But still gotta love ducati!
My friend have owned a ducati for 5 years and nothing broke
+Fr. Ro
Lol just because he can't afford something does not mean you can't question its reliability. I bet you make smart investments in your life
+Fr. Ro no, they really do break..
Amazing display sequence! Perfect music and great angles. Well done video.
Why does everyone think ducatis sound awesome? This bike sounds like my bloody trail beater KLX250.... Seriously i'm not joking.
+ReaLzEdits that aftermarket exhaust is shit, that's why, look for some other videos.
+Cuore Sportivo Yes, this exhaust sounds bad in this bike.. I'm still have the stock one in my Monster and the sound is amazing, the only reason that I may replace it later on is because the weight, and obviously for a Termignoni exhaust.

Ryan Lewis For my own ego let's just say the editing. But that bike is pretty cool too!
Nice to see you riding around my hometown... When u first stopped to change the riding modes, u were in front of the high school I went to. Then u proceeded to ride past my neighborhood so that was cool too. PCB is such an interesting place lol.
whats bigger, the diavel or a hayabusa
Hayabusa
That bike is sick C2W, props to Ducati for this creation. Also shout out to downshift83 for owning this incredible bike. Respect!
Kinda sounds like do it with dan's magna

I can't wait to get one of those in the future. i freaking love those bikes. It's gorgeous and ballsy.
Your intros although very artsy and commercial.. theyre too long and dont show off the actual bike that well
Your production and editing has gotten so good man keep it up
Broooooo the intro was amazing 😍👍
That edit at the beginning was freaking awesome!!!!!!!
bloody hell man your little bike preview segments are amazing , wont be surprised if a bike company employs you sometime
I love that you pick the music on how the bike looks.
Your video editing is getting better and better dude , keep it going.
After standing in the presence of this machine I can say its a lot more intimidating in person than on video, scared the hell out of me.
Nice glamour shots! I enjoy all your channels!
This is such a tempting bike... The weird design, the brutal engine. And then it's even supposed to be somewhat comfortable. A comfortable Ducati... I need to wrap my head around that one.

Nice camera work at the start. Very smooth. So someone else let you barrow their Ducati. Down Shift must be one trusting individual. Ride safe Chase.
dude you're getting really good at this...
Brilliant intro man! That music and those angles.
In PCB. I know these roads!
Gorgeous bike. There's one for sale in Lynn Haven which has led me to this video. Strongly considering buying it. I love sports bikes but kind of want a cruiser because my back hates me. Lately anything but a short ride hurts my back.
That Ducati looks like a beast!
Dude 2015-16 Kawasaki Vulcan S! Another great cruiser/sportbike hybrid! Great review btw.
Daym my dads thinking of buying one of these. Nice video Chase
Your bikeporn game is on point! so sick m8
very nice video first of all, just a comment on the intro. at 51 seconds at the "drop" in the song I was waiting for the bike to startup and rev instead of the guy saying "damn". It would have been so awsome and made the intro flawless ;D
like a little child gets his birthday present :) nice work, keep it up. greez from germany
OMG, that bike is insane.! CycleCruza just purchased the 2016 version. But that one has a belt drive and it’s prone to rocks cutting the belt from the belt guard. He loves it. But he is thinking about selling because of that one small problem.
dat keyless start-up though!!! OMFG... drooling here....
I'm riding this one on track... never underestimate a diavel ;) Nice vid!
I was spinning between buying a triumph Street twin and a Honda cbr1000 and then I found the ducati diavel 💓
damnnn C2W with the cinematic ropes
Pulled up at a set of lights alongside one of these - missed the lights changing because I was looking at the Diavel so much!!!
Modern Ducatis are insane. Superb cinema action as usual :)
Whoa man this bike looks so attractive.... Nice video... The sound is even better :-)
aah Jea ,talented editing Chase !
Love the shots a the beginning. Good job Chase :)
This is one of the most 'murican motovlogging channels.
I know what you mean about the turning!!! It didn't feel heavy, just like it wanted to pull wherever it turned. Had to fight it a bit.
Stunning camera work.
It's a Caferacer! Style wise. A lot closer to a sport bike than a cruiser but still comfy, and classic.
What is there not to like about Ducati or Italy on the whole picture... Beatiful cars, BEATIFUL BIKES, good food... Okay im not gonna go further :D
chase sure knows some good ass beats to go really fast in...
Pretty sick lookin bike. Thumbs up on the showcase editing I wish I had talent like that haha
nice video dude! the 60 fps is crazy !
