This is exactly what I was wanting to learn today and somehow it magically came up in my feed! I like the pipeline as a name! I had used this rolling technique in some of my practice putts prior to this video and somehow it helped me with my power and accuracy. I'm glad you confirmed this in your video and thank you!
I practice this one on a regular basis, I believe we have to have lots of different ways to get to the basket. I like the gannon style of going more back and to the side also, sometimes it’s more predictable. ✌️🤙
That's one of hte must fun things about putting is that there are so many different ways to do it. I've never tried the gannon/emerson/uli style putt but im going to give it a shot at some point. Keep up the practice!
It's like spiderman shooting a web for me. The last point the disc touches is the back crease of the palm of my hand right before the wrist. My palm ends up facing the sky. Seems to work for me, niceand flat with no wobble. I think it's kinda how Wysocki putts
If you putt nose down, your fingers under the disc are pushing up. 90 degrees later in the direction of the spin is the back of the disc. Push up on the side where the hand is at release, the back goes up, meaning the nose goes down. To "fix", choices are Push more forward, like in the video. Push slightly down with the thumb on top. This makes the nose go up. Experiment, it will click, and you then have more options and subtle control of nose angles. PDGA #308
@@michaelcushman I notice that when I push up on the disc, the disc is released with a nose down angle. I will try to push the disc forward and see if that helps. Where on the disc should I push down with my thumb?
Don't ya hate it when you pure the drive, put it like 19ft. Cardmate hits 1st available....things are looking good.... cardmate throws a killer upshot like 42ft from th pin... he's got that to save par...CHING!! He bangs it. All you have is alittle meat on the bone..QUACK, WIFF, STUPID HAND...Yep, on paper it looks totally the same. Don't yack the bunnies
I believe he keeps his putts on a more direct plane with a sh*t ton of spin comin from the neck area even from circle 2, but ill have to check this out
You're getting better at these videos, smoother and more confident presentation. Can't wait for more.
Hey thank you Joe that really means a lot to hear!

Well it sounds like destiny that you should run an experiment for a couple months and see if it works for you!

Just found this video. I have been practicing with this motion for windy putts. Will have to try it for C2 now. I vote for pipeline as well.

Yes this is awesome advice. I totally agree with the palm up and love the spiderman analogy
This seems to make a lot of sense actually. Where can I find the other 9 principles you mention early in the video?
If you click on playlists from our channel you will see one titled The PuttConfidently Approach they are all in there in order!
I vote Pipeline Putt 🌊 creative!
Thank you! I'm a big fan of famous big waves so it has a bit of a personal meaning too
I call this one the Tai Chi putt, as that motion is pretty much the first move and the most important move in Tai Chi.
I did not know that, but I love it! its a powerful but graceful move I should have known they would use something like it in Tai Chi
I am struggling with my putt being too nose down and I notice that when I putt like this the disc is way more flat.

I like Simon's advice..."Think long......think wrong"
That is very good advice!
The John John!!!
Is that a historical name for this movement? its a very fun name

How about the Loop-putt?
More like the fruit loop putt
Clearly this is a "windup" putt.
Reminds me of a wave in the ocean
Very cool yes that was my first thought too, well have to see what Tyee thinks...
The “Hook”
Pendulum putt
Looks like a spush putt to me.
Call it the circle two putt....cause you'll be taking two putts basically every time

How come the fake bokeh? It's pretty distracting
