The Vtuvia SF20 in candy apple red will pop when you see it. The glossy paint job screams and the color matching rims make the ebike stand out. BUY a VTUVIA: vtuviaebike.co...
Chris, looks very cool. It would be very helpful to indicate whether the electrical system meets UL 2849 or EN 15194 certification. Given the July 15th NBDA statement to retailers and the industry, and the fact that Vtuvia doesn't tell us who manufactures the battery, it would be good to know the battery's not going to explode on riders!
These step throughs are out performing the Lectrics or Jupiters. Would like to compare V-73, VSF20 to the Espine ! Most people buying them probably don’t know what Underwriters Laboratories do or stand for. Now days they have been losing there significance, we never know if batteries are meeting standards or not, they blow up or they don’t. It should be better if they have passed certain tests, but I don’t know lately if the UL sticker has been displayed as often as it should.
I have two SF20 bikes - ( purchased over a year now) Now Having battery issues 1rst bike the battery cuts off & on after acceleration. I believe that the battery is weak now and not able to maintain proper voltage and then goes into a safety shut off mode and turns itself off. The 2nd bike the battery will no longer turn on with the key switch. I know it is fully charged because i pulled the battery off the bike and checked the contact connections on the battery itself. The problem is the key switch contacts may be internally faulty. I contacted Vtuvia for warranty ( China) via email only thet stated that the batteries are only warrantied for 1 year. I said that the battery is fine the key switch is the problem and faulty which should be covered under warranty. They responded with - The batteries have a 1 year warranty and that they could not help me and KINDLY PURCHASE NEW ONES.. No problem right but the batteries retail for over $400 + tax each. Not a happy customer.... Keep in mind that Vtuvia only has retail sales outlets and they do not offer any repair service shops. The local outlets will direct you like me to email for customer service (China)
Could you please advise where I can find tires for SF20. The tire size stamped on tire is 90/100-16? Kenda. I’ve looked with little success online. Fat tires seem scarce. Any suggestions appreciated. The review is right on. The bike is a fair price for a fair bike. Seems well engineered for what it is. Lotsa power. Not sure where I could take it if repair issues occur.
The frame is the same as the WTVA, which I just ordered in black. If they had this in Candy Red with the rim in color I would have got it. Some slight differences in performance ... being WTVA having the advantage but not by much. The WTVA on amazon is $200 less at this time which is a big advantage and why I got it. Vtuvia Candy Red looks nice but the name brand is plastered all over it ... making it undesirable.
You seem mediocre about this bike. No excitement in your review. You must like something else better. What foldable 750 watt e bike do you like better? I was about to buy the vituvia until your review.
@@ChrisCrossed thank you for replying. I have reviewed that ebike too but have heard that they take forever to get here plus you can never get ahold of them in China if you need help. What is it you like better about the rattan?
Yeah their customer service can be tricky, i just love the green color I got and the ebike has been great out of the box. No issues after 6 months. You could also look at the Espin Nesta.

Thanks I will start to mention that on my reviews, good idea.

Nice bike. How's the customer service department?
Probably not that good, just a chinese dropshipper.

You would be correct. I prefer the Rattan 750.
