No doubt the Rasputin had heavy hitting arms
(Though he is a brute, he does have some certain charms)

This was a fantastic event. I love the amount of work Wargaming put into it. From the special map and unique rules to the remodeled ships; the nice steampunk touches to the Nassau, St. Louis, and Wakatake and the demonic facades of the Mikasa and Imperator Nikolai I. Particular bonus kuddos to the Nikolai/Rasputin (I see what you did there, Wargaming, using a BB named after the Tsar and renaming it after the mad monk that brought down the Romanovs) having ghostly sounds when it fires its main guns, and similarly to the Nassau/Jackal for the plumes of red steam from the turrets when it fires. And most of all major thumbs up for the unique Transylvania ship, which although dressed up is clearly based heavily on the legendary steamship Great Eastern. I'm not sure which would approve more, H.P. Lovecraft or Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Quick note, Jingles: The Zikasas main guns aren't bad, they're non-existent. Literally. If you zoom in on a Zikasa (usually in free camera mode after you've died) you'll see that their main guns are twisted and destroyed as part of their zombie makeover. They only had secondary batteries. Lucky thing then that the Mikasa/Zikasa's secondaries are devastating. The Rasputin, on the other hand, totally has its primary guns up and running and they will mess you up.

This game mode was really well done. It was easily the most fun I ever had in PvE in this game.
WG could really take this concept and make a new PvE Mode out of it... Could even make it "semi-historic". For example allied ships defending arctic convoys against Germans on a map with icebergs and ice flows that force the convoy to take a specfic route.

When you double click you fire all guns at once instead of holding it down you fire them in sequence.

I remember playing this with friends. It was a blast. Win or lose time spent gaming with good friends out for some fun is time well spent. Some of the best games of my life where playing this mode with some of my gaming friends and losing my the skin of our teeth but having a blast doing it. When I played this event the BB seemed weirdly popular- I never actually got to play it because waiting times were forever. For me I actually really liked taking the cruiser and setting fires- I always thought the StLouis was a fire beast in disguise.
This was a great livestream. Not only was it just outright fun but I also discovered Izolate, whom I'll now be watching for my WoWs streamy goodness. He casted a tournament match last night that was solid entertainment, for instance. Thanks Jingles! ^_^

It would be nice if there was slightly higher chance of, at least, getting the Transylvania to the end with random groups. I think that's why a lot of people don't even bother trying to complete the scenario. Your chances of success are so astronomically low that most seem to be there just do some damage for the credits and camo.

Pro-tip - even though it might not look like you have range on the catapults by reticule placement, if you have target lock on it you are in range.

At least your Transylvania didn't intentionally turned and sail towards the Rasputin or any other enemies. That happened once to me as I frantically ram the Transylvania trying to turn him the other way
