@@57thorns Well the hour is spread across the whole month, so you have a choice of 1 one hour break a month, 30 two minute breaks every day, or somewhere in between. The salt mines have embraced flexible working conditions in the latest enterprise agreement.

When he dodged those torpedo's with ease and stayed in the smoke screen, that was beyond ridiculous.

I was the Gouden Leeuw, and was indeed watching Stats' stream - Up untill I hit the same battle but on the enemy team! The only way to properly syncdrop and not be a complete asshat is to mute and tab away from the stream if your syncdrop succeeds! You can see my joy of achieving this by the remark "In the immortal words of Roy Kent: "Fuuuuck"" at the start, and "Reeee! Go away xD" moments before I melt.
You will also see me spectacularly miss a blind shot into the smoke because I am shooting at where Stats last shot and have no clue he is actually moving, since I am, in fact, NOT streamsniping!
When I died I went back to the stream ofc and could see the battle from Stats perspective as well.
On a different note. It is not Killerbin in the other Jacksonville :) Not sure he wants the attention, so not gonna say who it is, but he is kinda furry ;)

Streamsniping is a fact of life when you're a Twitch Streamer. Might as well complain that the sun rises in the East.

at least that's what i do, when i see a streamer in my games...
just mute it or pause it and get back later when you or the game is done...

Havent watched Jingles in over half a decade, used to watch every night before bed. Then I joined the army, life happened, forgot about alot of things i enjoyed. Cant tell you how good it feels to look you up and see that youre still putting out the best content on this hellhole of a website! Thanks for all the good times and helping me through the rough times.

It’s surreal hearing you use lingo (the funny button) that came out of my WOWS clan. I can’t prove we came up with it but we were using it before any one else knew what it ment, very funny 😂
That coordinated turn at around 7:15 was a beautiful display of teamwork by two guys who understand the mission and each other. Love it. Rarely see it myself but still.

The Jacksonville is this firebug’s fever dream come true. ABSOLUTELY JUICY!
One of these melted me in my FDG and I just quit the game, that was enough for the day.
When I first started playing this game, Yamato was one of the few ships that could clap you in two. Now, thanks to ships like this, the Yamato, is just a good old TV-series I still like to enjoy. The ship in WoW is... To quote PQ "probably not worth getting".

I remember when I used to call the Cleveland "Blowtorch" it was good at one time for starting fires. Not so good any more. But I still play the Cleveland now and then. I've had that ship for a long time.

Note: the smoke timer has been bugged for a couple of patches. It seems to show the countdown on every puff of smoke, not just the one you’re in.

If experience told me something it's that you should be weary of a cluster of ships, even out of position, at a certain point in a game. That cluster of ships, if they decide to concentrate their fire on a single target, can be devastating for the enemy that can find themselved in the inferior position quite fast....
Wow this is insanely overpowered I won’t be shocked if this thing gets nerfed before it is released to the masses
IFHE penetration increase can vary with different ships. Even among ship types.
Actually Aerroon has shown this ship a couple of times already. One describing the specs, and one action match (it's a good one).
It has fairly decent firing arcs as well, so you can park it behind an island and make the enemy regret pressing the battle button when they did.
They still have community contributors? I'm glad to hear it! I stopped playing after the LWM Huron debacle.
I think StatsBloke is going to really like the USS Blowtorch. I imagine, with the ship as *new* as it is, this is probably the ship's damage record at the moment

this seems like a perfectly balanced tier 11 that this game def needed and totally not bad for the game. WG def know how to not kill the game....
Watch the map spotting range ring when shooting. It is 6.2KM on this CA.
I am guessing they have the Range upgrade installed, as any Cruiser player should, because no cruiser has a ranger that makes it safe to shoot from at a BB with the Standard range.
As long as you can actually aim, there is only upsides to this.

Also, I think I would not have run the penetration skill and kept up the increased chance of starting fires. I play my Cleveland on all the Operations like that. I rarely if ever switch. I'm able to spam HE shells so rapidly and start so many fires, I routinely do more damage per match than I do in any of my battleships.

Spent the entire game rooting for them to loose. From what I can tell, the only way to deal with this ship effectively is to nearly one shot it first salvo. It devastates destroyers, cruisers and battleships if you don't. Battleships can't deal with it because of the over pens. Destroyers can't because hydro and radar. Cruisers can't because their are more susceptible to ifhe and they've slower rof. There needs to be slower rate of fire after the funny button, higher citadel or a removal of some utility.

I think there were a couple of moments when even I would have used AP, regardless ... and doing so might have swung the game.

Smoke firing penalty for this 6" light cruiser is 6.2km. How do I know? I watched the mini map and every time Stats fired his detection ring went out to 6.2km. Also the detection number by the crosshairs.
