Fun fact about Under Siege, a fair bit of the movie was filmed aboard USS Alabama, and if you go to the ship today most of the shells you see behind the glass are foam replicas made for the movie. Learned this while volunteering to help restore the ship while stationed in Pensacola.
I'm glad someone brought that fact up, I thought it was funny Jingles went from talking about USS Missouri and Under Seige and then talk about the USS Alabama.
What makes those aircraft kills more amazing, is if you know how many aircraft those Carriers actually held at max capacity.. to put it simply, he almost deplaned 3 carriers worth of planes.
Also the music video for "If I Could Turn Back Time", directed by American television director Marty Callner, takes place on board the battleship USS Missouri. It depicts Cher and her band performing a concert for the ship's crew. Just saying, I'd rather have a sexy woman wearing a net dress marching on my pixel ship in the port, instead. Or topless Erika Eleniak. She was in the movie too. Am I really asking too much!? 😂😂😂 Only if I'd had the ship at all. 😂❤
Reportedly that caused quite a controversy at the time due to Cher’s outfit and from veterans groups because it was aboard the Missouri (scene of the Japanese armistice etc). The secretary of the navy thought about sacking the captain (though didn’t in the end) but the navy refused to allow any other music videos be filmed aboard commissioned vessels.
And it was in Battleship. The movie is guilty pleasure of mine, but the scene where heroes put the Mighty Mo back into service set to AC/DC's Thunderstruck was legitimately cool.
174 shot down planes , I admit at the first I though he will get 57-70 planes , borring ... but hell 174 planes , my random record is 80 on Salem , mine ranked record is 96 in Druid , but 174 ... and yet he plays with AA build is handy on that kind of games , but 8/10 battles is jusy waste of commander skill ... but other thing that is impressive , 143k dmg and 4.6mil credits ! , that is DAMN , my best earning game on Musashi was 312k dmg with 320% bonus = 3.1 mil , so yes that was very unique battle .
The German tech tree Depth bomber plane (Tiers V-VII) is the BV-138, its a trimotorseaplane that is capable for maritime patrols, and surprisingly has 2 or 1 depth bombs carried in it.

Fun fact for everyone that wants to annoy Steven Seagal: His surname is actually supposed to be pronounced as SEAGULL. As, according to an interview, he used to pronounce it this way, until he was inspired by a Chagall art exhibit and changed it to sound less Jewish. Which is why I now only pronounce his name as seagull, because I know it would annoy him.
One of the best narrations of an actor ever. 😂 Battle is just a cherry on the sundae. Jingles should open all future Wows videos with a Steven Seagal fun fact. These fun facts had me in tears. Thank you Jingles, I needed the laugh.
I'm surprised with all the 'belt' armour that Steven Segal now has, that anything could citadel him, even the Mighty Yamato! It's just as well we now have widescreen cos SS wouldn't fit on the 'old' ratio screens any more. Also, hasn't he moved up further to his goal of becoming the 'Worlds Greatest Douche', by licking Vladimir 'I'm a Batshit Crazy Murderer' Putins boots, to the point he now has Russian citizenship?
Not sure if this counts as a Seagal story, but when I was learning martial arts one of the first things I was taught was self defense. As part of that us students were shown various holds that might be used against us, then taught how to defend against and escape from those holds. One of the holds was developed by Steven Seagal, who claims it's impossible to escape. We were shown it... then immediately taught how to escape it. Wasn't even that difficult, we didn't even linger on it for that long. Apparently though in many of Seagal's movies he can be seen employing this hold, if you ever see him grabbing someone's arm, locking the elbow and wrapping his own arm around it, that's his inescapable hold. So inescapable that highly trained martial artists have to spend all of five minutes being told how to escape it.
Hell, Jingles, I can hardly imagine the face you would make if you were at Comic-Con and you saw Seagal Jabba-ing his way up to you for your autograph...
I once shot down like 72 aircraft in my Izumo, though that was right at the start of the CV rework. There was a Lexington and a Midway targeting me, and I had to dance around their aircraft basically the entire game. I managed to catch the Midway behind an island very close to where I was dancing, and I finished him off. I never managed to shoot down this many aircraft afterwards, lol.
Its actually been a while since ive seen any wows content and i just came across your channel again through this video. Im so glad you're still doing this series, there's always such a calming yet entertaining presence you have, which makes these videos perfect for when I'm studying lol.
I just read a book about a Japanese naval captain and I thought man maybe I'll play a few games of wows so I can look at all the ships I just read about and when I took out my yammi wows felt literally like I was in operation Ten-Go with all the damn air strikes and being focused by 2 carries while trying to doge torps from 2 subs. Great experience 👍
Never mind taking the piss out of Seagal, Jingles. Taking the piss out of him is always worthwhile. Besides all of his movies are great comedies (only a tragedy that the lead actor think they are action movies)
segal used to have a place in Montana close to where i live. i installed carpet in his house. he has no personality other than "I'm better than everyone else". the town he lived close to was about 2-3 thousand people and has one main street going though it with shops for about 5-6 blocks. he would come to town in a black suburban with blackout windows and there was a second black suburban in the convoy, both full of armed security guards. he needed them for protection from the local fisherman and tourist, i guess. he would get out and strut down the sidewalk with both SUVs following along holding up traffic. none of the locals liked him in anyway, he was just an arrogant ass that needed attention, he generally never went into the stores to buy anything, just needed to be seen. for a quick comparison, Mel Gibson lived in another similar small town here and the people there liked him. he would talk to people like they were old friends and laugh and tell stories with the people in the bars. no security, no BS, just an actor living an everyday average person's life.
That Missouri game reminded me of my NorCal games in the Concealed Maneuvers testing... Almost guaranteed double CV games, with a full AA spec NorCal. Lots of fun.
What I noticed most about the second game - was that, did the player not know what the right mouse button was for to stop his guns from constantly moving as he turned the ship now and then, and so had to reline the main armament again and again to shoot? He also missed using the O key when his health was getting low, too, allowing more torps and bomber to get through to him . . . And as for the film Under Siege back then - my main memories of the film were not of any acting roles, Jingo - but of Elena Eleniak's lovely bare boobs bouncing around quite beautifully . . . lol . . .
This is fine. Most of us enjoy listing to Jingles, because, unlike Steven Segal, Jinglels voice is a pleasure to listen to, and highly amusing. So any video where Jingles goes off tangent and just talks about stuff is time we’ll spent. I never got the Steven Segal voiceovers, must have been too late. But it’s fine, I now have the best voiceover captain in the game anyway. It’s the one who keeps mistaking different ship classes 😉
The one Seagal story I remember was a story by Tom Arnold from "Exit Wounds", the scene on the houseboat. Seagal didn't listen to the director direction, he said he was going out this one door and it's the take in the movie; did his lines and walk through the door and off the side of the House into the water. With the game, was very close to getting the Might Mo but it was removed just before I could afford it. Felt Seagal was giving a very wooden performance, that was just from the game clips I saw at the time. On a related note, around the same time I got my HMS Thunderer and there was only one Captain to take helm, with his lively and very british command style, Admiral Jingles handing out a paddling to those flat boardsides lol.
15:40 Actually Jingles I think the current chances of that are zero, since Steven Seagal is currently in Russia and somewhat unlikely to return to US soil any time soon... 🤣
I stopped playing carriers post rework for the most part. Pre-rework I loved playing as and against carriers because of the chance that you could have a carrier secondary off if you both ran out of planes.
Jingles, Dupleix is a very lightly armored Suffren class HEAVY cruiser, if memory serves. It's one of those "paper armor" ships France produced during the interwar period. Her armor was about 50 mm on the hull, 25 mm on the deck and 30 mm on the turrets. Her armement comprised 4x2 203 mm guns. Even the quite lightly armored Schshors LIGHT cruiser at tier 7 has better armor.
Kaga is tier 8 on paper but it has tier 6 planes on deck, no wonder a tier 9 AA from a battleship can shoot so many of them plus that other stuff too. He was basically spoon fed I say.
the displayed skill/gameplay converges perfectly with mighty jingles himself technically bad performance (showing broadside at the very first opportunity or mixing up ship names, classes, calibres etc etc - while being a professional youtuber/streamer) yet rather entertaining/likeable
Well Jingles. I have you on my Belfast 1943 and your voice overs are epic I chuckle more than once a game we you speak 😂 Consider starting a voice over career brother. Cheers from Canada
A fellow I knew well, worked in the Film industry was excited to soon be working on set where David Carradine was starring. This fellow loved D.C. in the 1980's Kung Fu TV series and actually started practicing a Kung Fu because of that show years earlier. Few weeks go by, he invites me and a few others over for a weekend afternoon brunch party. He's in the kitchen busy getting food ready and chipper as can be. But he isn't saying anything about his work lately, which he was so hyped to start. So I asked, "How's it going on set with David Carradine?" He lost his smile and gave me a dead stare and said, "David Carradine is drunk asshole." and that was all he had to say about that and that set work was not mentioned again. Never meet your hero's, you will only be disappointed.

If you don't know it already, check out So Bad It's Good/Jason Brant. They sit around, drink beer and laugh at bad movies. All their stuff is great fun, but the Seagal movies are the best. Oh, and akshewally Jingles, it was Exit Wounds - Cradle 2 The Grave was Jet Li. Cracking film.
Erica Elniak says, "The safest place on this entire ship is right behind him!" That has to be one of the great movie lines of all time - even if it is in reference to a Segal character.
First round reminds me of a game I played years ago, during the dead eye buff, it was weird because we were all cruisers, DD’s, and a carrier. We managed an entire squad wipe (minus the carrier) in something like 6 minutes without a single casualty. I wasn’t paying attention to the rest of the game because our corner (I guess like the others) was so high energy. I looked up after and wondered what I’m the world happened lol
Segal's time as a cop in LA is actually as TV show in the US as well. I don't if it's still going or not. I use The Mighty Jingles as my British Cruiser captain. Bad Advice as my British Battle Cruiser Captain. My Voice over I use is Jingles. Somehow, I got an AL Captain for HMS Hood. (Don't know how)
Jingles, I'd like to argue that it wasn't Steven Seagal that got peoples attention in Under Siege, but the excellent performance by Erika Eleniak and the supporting actor, The Cake.
And a little movie trivia; Under Siege took place on the USS Alabama docked in Mobile AL. The tour of the battleship and the submarine next to it was excellent. Just watch out for the alligators.
interestingly the movie underseige despite being the so called uss missouri was actually filmed on the uss alabama. the opening scene at sea was missouri but the rest was alabama as missouri was still active and well they couldnt just stop a active battleship to make a movie.
This video should be called "The Steven Seagal Slaughter". I'd also accept "Slapstick Steven Seagal Slander". Well deserved for Seagal, tho since he is an utter slapstick actor!.
I think the most amount of planes I've ever shot down was in a brawl, 1v1 setup. I was in a massachussets, and I think I was fighting and Enterprise, or it may have been a KAGA, I don't remember. I got something like 150 airplanes shot down. It was nuts.
A few short years ago there were Segal jokes making the rounds. Like "Segal is a champion ultimate KFC fighter" and "An airline once showed a Segal movie as the in flight movie. Half the audience walked out". And they quickly go downhill from there.
Not only do we get two battles today, we also get to dunk on Steven Seagal. Jingles is our secret Santa!🎅 Jingles: "There's a non zero chance that you could go to Louisiana start a fight in a bar and be arrested by Steven Seagal." Me: "Or his stunt double!"😅
Actually Jingles, Steven had to change his character's name in Under Siege to Casey Ryback in order to hide his own identity. The attempted commandeering of the USS Missouri actually did take place and Steven was integral in the successful covert operation to thwart the attack. Steven told me so.
Two things: 1st notice that the two carriers on GapMans team only shot down 10 aircraft between them, 2nd next week Jingles will be showcasing someone sending in a replay with the most airplanes shot down in a match with a 3 carrier game and a hybrid.
Jingles: "we'll be cutting it down and focusing on the interesting bits"

One interesting factoid of Under Siege is that while the movie is set on USS Missouri, the filming location was actually USS Alabama (BB-60).
Only if I'd had the ship at all.
@@emberfist8347 😂😂
The first battle was better called as a massive seal clubbing with that colossal paddling
I would love to see Jingles talk shit of other actors. This ep. was great!
Fellow miners, I have a problem. If, hypothetically, someone were to take a break from the Salt Mines to watch a Jingles video during work hours, to what extent would our Overlordliness let that slide?
Asking for a friend, of course.
Breaks are only permissible _in order to_ watch a Jingles video. Ours is a harsh but fair lord.
Consider that his lunchbreak . Only and only because he is watching our great leaders propaganda videos! Of coarse now he has to work non stop for the rest of his shift! Otherwise he may find himself mining salt with no pike but his bare hands.
So tell your friend to be careful!
You will be allowed, because the only breaks permissible is if you'll watch a Jingles Video
You are permitted to watch Jingles videos. But if you are subscribed AND like the video it counts as overtime...
Would be bad. At least triple shifts with no food and break, in addition some corporeal punishment.
The Steven Seagal impression on South Park was hilarious! EDIT : I remember when the AA of ships like the Misouri and my Yamato where feared by all carriers. Those where the times. WoWs vets will know.
Aaaaaannnnnnnnd......Watch Jingles' inbox be flooded with replays where players massacre entire enemy air fleets🤣
Lmao
Steven Seagal's Wikipedia page reads like a rap sheet. He once drove a tank through his ex-wife's house.
And yes he's still allowed to be a cop. Americans!
@@jamescocking7061 History of domestic abuse and willing to use force unnecessarily? That's on the job vacancy to be a cop in the US, right? Along with how many dogs you have already shot.
@@jamescocking7061he is not a cop anymore. He was forced to resign several years ago after one of the women he sexually abused filed charges and the TV show that followed him around was cancelled.
LOL, I saw that dog pile while i was in the Navy in Italy, the entire theatre laughed our double snakes off
Fun fact for everyone that wants to annoy Steven Seagal: His surname is actually supposed to be pronounced as SEAGULL. As, according to an interview, he used to pronounce it this way, until he was inspired by a Chagall art exhibit and changed it to sound less Jewish.
Which is why I now only pronounce his name as seagull, because I know it would annoy him.
The WOWS Missouri had or still has another easter egg. In harbor it has the table where the japanese forces surrendered on the starboard upperdeck.
One of the best narrations of an actor ever. 😂 Battle is just a cherry on the sundae. Jingles should open all future Wows videos with a Steven Seagal fun fact. These fun facts had me in tears. Thank you Jingles, I needed the laugh.
The way the Mo’s guns lit up when the cyclone rolled in looked awesome. City of lights
Steven Seagal got citadeled by Jingles so many times.
Not that there is anything wrong with that, but oof.
20 Seconds New personal best. Love your work Jingles, you make making dinner enjoyable.
Yes, 2 minutes, personal best, love you jingles, never change
Its actually been a while since ive seen any wows content and i just came across your channel again through this video. Im so glad you're still doing this series, there's always such a calming yet entertaining presence you have, which makes these videos perfect for when I'm studying lol.
To out myself here: I liked the voiceover in wows of seagal. Best thing he ever did. But Cappy is for sure the best voiceover in wows ever.
Love the Steven Segal bash in this video. Now I'm on my way to go and find the video you recommended.
Cool thing about this map. I’ve actually been to one of the islands in it. Well two on the same trip. The two little islands in C8. Beautiful island.
He also missed using the O key when his health was getting low, too, allowing more torps and bomber to get through to him . . . And as for the film Under Siege back then - my main memories of the film were not of any acting roles, Jingo - but of Elena Eleniak's lovely bare boobs bouncing around quite beautifully . . . lol . . .
One of the reasons the sequel couldn't live up to the original.
@10:15
Genuinely first time I noticed the dolphins, love those little details
7:08 If the gnome lord wants to see teama being reduced to 0 points, the mine peons will deliver.
Always happy to see the gnome lord happy.
15:40 Actually Jingles I think the current chances of that are zero, since Steven Seagal is currently in Russia and somewhat unlikely to return to US soil any time soon... 🤣
Given the long list of legal issues he would face if he returned to the US, I think it's highly unlikely he would ever even attempt to come back.
Licking Putins Ass
Didn't know this was Sensei Seagulls tribute. Love it.
One of the greatest comedy performances of all time is Segal running in Above the Law.
I stopped playing carriers post rework for the most part. Pre-rework I loved playing as and against carriers because of the chance that you could have a carrier secondary off if you both ran out of planes.
Dont worry Jingles Story time with you is always the best.
Thanks for your hard work, 😅 it's a great experience listening to your honest opinion.
I now know what I’m watching after this, thanks Jingles.
He’s also now an OFFICIAL Citizen of the Russian Federation
Kaga is tier 8 on paper but it has tier 6 planes on deck, no wonder a tier 9 AA from a battleship can shoot so many of them plus that other stuff too. He was basically spoon fed I say.
the displayed skill/gameplay converges perfectly with mighty jingles himself
technically bad performance (showing broadside at the very first opportunity
or mixing up ship names, classes, calibres etc etc - while being a professional youtuber/streamer)
yet rather entertaining/likeable
You forgot the best part of the little Casey Rybeck figure who would appear on deck- he'd spend most of his time doing karate moves!
Well Jingles. I have you on my Belfast 1943 and your voice overs are epic I chuckle more than once a game we you speak 😂 Consider starting a voice over career brother. Cheers from Canada
That first battle was a spanking of epic proportions
I see. I click
Simple as
I like. I subscribe. I have no idea where I’m going with this.
I’ll be watching this 8 hours from now. Since I have to go in for work here in about 10 minutes. Just chilling in the parking lot, yay 5 AM work.
Greetings and salutations, thanks for another great video! I always learn so many new facts and in a manner that I find effortlessly entertaining as well. Hope all is well at uni.
ole tommy buns getting the love from jingles! would love to see you and Sugura do a podcast it would be a riot!
The best Stephen Segal thing I've seen was the Crouching Cops Hidden Badges from Mad TV.
Erica Elniak says, "The safest place on this entire ship is right behind him!" That has to be one of the great movie lines of all time - even if it is in reference to a Segal character.
That was one of the most satisfying Jingle vids in a long time... and all his vids are tasty as is. Thank you for the AA massacre of 2023
Now you did it Jingles. Everyone is going to send you replays of record aircraft kills.
"kinda short"
*Looks at Video length*
Nearly half an hour long
Hmmm
Segal's time as a cop in LA is actually as TV show in the US as well. I don't if it's still going or not. I use The Mighty Jingles as my British Cruiser captain. Bad Advice as my British Battle Cruiser Captain. My Voice over I use is Jingles. Somehow, I got an AL Captain for HMS Hood. (Don't know how)
Came for the tanks, stayed for the laughs, Segal bashing is just the icing on the cake..
Our Mighty Gnome Overlord is the World's Best World of Warships Captain..
Mate, we are here because your ramble, and a Seagal rant makes it Gold Star episode 😂😂🤣🤣
Now I'm frantically searching for this SNL episode. Train wrecks are so appealing.
interestingly the movie underseige despite being the so called uss missouri was actually filmed on the uss alabama. the opening scene at sea was missouri but the rest was alabama as missouri was still active and well they couldnt just stop a active battleship to make a movie.
I'm not sure I have fully ascertained your true feelings towards Steven Segal. LMFAO. Got him good Jingles.
It was nuts.
can we apriciat jingles making these vids its entertaining and funny (not only steven segal) but its funny
I like the double feature and especially the Seagall shit talking, lol.
Jingles, I don't even play this, never have.
That said I love your video's, your explanation, but most of all its that Chuckle of yours. :D
A few short years ago there were Segal jokes making the rounds. Like "Segal is a champion ultimate KFC fighter" and "An airline once showed a Segal movie as the in flight movie. Half the audience walked out". And they quickly go downhill from there.
Under 1 minute crowd, reporting in
Solid few minutes of talking shit about Steven "seated karate master" Seagal. I'm here for it
Not only do we get two battles today, we also get to dunk on Steven Seagal. Jingles is our secret Santa!🎅
Jingles: "There's a non zero chance that you could go to Louisiana start a fight in a bar and be arrested by Steven Seagal."
Me: "Or his stunt double!"😅
Putin would have to fly him in.
Ol' Sifu knows better than to show his ugly mug around Louisiana these days. That's what being Putin's biyotch gets you.
Actually Jingles, Steven had to change his character's name in Under Siege to Casey Ryback in order to hide his own identity. The attempted commandeering of the USS Missouri actually did take place and Steven was integral in the successful covert operation to thwart the attack. Steven told me so.
Just what to point out that the total number of enemy planes shot down by him and his team is x275! Mind boggling to say the least...
Two things: 1st notice that the two carriers on GapMans team only shot down 10 aircraft between them, 2nd next week Jingles will be showcasing someone sending in a replay with the most airplanes shot down in a match with a 3 carrier game and a hybrid.
