you covered many of the issues that cause harmonic oscillation, the trac bar being a leading cause and the steering stabilizer never being a cause lol perfect! i keep telling folks i am just running a cheap stock jk stabilizer on my jl. but they insist on blowing money on a part that does very little.
john lopes yup 100% and what’s funny is you can drive without it and can’t even notice 😂 when i’m upgrading i’m just gonna go with a cheap one , i’m not spending 300$ on a stabalizer lol .
@@WranglerAddiction Jenn is running without one now and i ran without most of last year as i killed mine on the Rubicon trail 3 weeks after purchasing the jeep lol
I have an 18 JLU and experienced death wobble today and I just bought the vehicle. Still has the temp tag on it. Calling the dealer tomorrow as it's still under warranty. I'll upgrade the parts later as I just want it fixed right now with factory parts. Lol I just got it! Only had 26k on it. Ridiculous actually. They really need to update the steering to rack and pinion and all these issues would go away.
I had similar issues with the sloppy steering and found that the track bar had come loose. After tightening that back up my steering is like new. I'm only running a 2.5" lift on 35's. I might possibly be running the same fenders as you too...couldn't see very well in the video.
Yeah we have to always check the bolts to make sure they’re tight , i made a video on the fenders and how i chopped them but now i have rubi fenders on my jeep i found a really cheap set .
Wrangler Addiction so synergy track bar, tie rod , drag link and mount brace? How much did this al cost you? I gotta find a local shop that can put this on for me

Loose ball joints, yep, that’s the main cause for Death Wobble. Good video.
Good info, having corrected deathwobble 3 times in our JLs already
JL LIFE OFFROAD what was causing it?
TRE and adding some more
Caster
JL LIFE OFFROAD yeah i mentioned that at the end of the video i’m at like 7+degrees of caster
