There are some fillers with some of them, but I think it is too late now. Luffy is a yonko, so a bounty hunter of that level would really mess things up. If the bounty hunter got someone from the crew, lets say Nami, it would need to be a chase and whatnot, and it would also mess a whole lot of things.
But some strong characters like that appearing to hype some of the lesser strawhats and maybe some of the grand fleet, it would be cool.
To be fair we did see a few "Bounty Hunters' like Abduhl and Jeet from "Dressrosa," but we haven't see much in the ways of "independent characters."
It also seems that "Mihawk" was once a "Marine Hunter."
As much as Oda has created this incredible world of One Piece.... We definitely could use more depth to it. Giant World makes it so that even with tons of information, we need that much more to fit into the world. It's exponentially more that's needed.

How do you feel now that Garp couldn't KO any commander? Galaxy Impact was so overhyped, all it did was destroy some buildings and a shit ton of fodder survived. None of the commanders were hurt. Buggy bomb lvl feat (even worse)

Not the same with Garp who was targetting BB's crew and the island (both were relatively fine even after the attack)

Garp was offered the Admiral position many times,but people choose to ignore that fact.
With shriyu what if with his awakening stuff he cuts doesn’t just turn invisible, but straight up gets deleted like the hand from Jojos. And with Zoro he would need to use his eye to unlock superior future sight completely dodge all incoming attacks.
I think his fruit might get special treatment like the barrirr-barrier fruit which can ignore Haki no matter how strong.
You know being invisible means you can wrap light so maybe his awakening will be on that kind of stuff
I feel like it’d be interesting if Shiryu awakened the fruit. Maybe it goes further than just invisibility to where he can fully erase his presence or be able to phase through things like Mirio.

We have seen that if the haki of someone is strong enough, they can negate the effects of a df. Shinryu will more then likely get one hit in, but thats prolly it. Better be a good hit as I do not see the other captains really being able to contribute.

I think Shiryu vs Zoro might bring back sword skill. His awakening might be Shiryu becoming nothing, and Zoro will have to learn to cut nothing, like what Zoro's teacher said about Swordsman being able to cut nothing, which made it seem like they wouldn't cut anything but now its come full circle. Not sure if Brago saw my comment but I made the same comment about Saber and Shiryu messing with the range. I think Shiryu will be on the same level as Ben Beckman so this will be an epic life or death fight for Zoro.

Since we know law was at rocky port. We can assume chunks of land was missing, building where upside down trees coming out of the sky. I wonder if it took so long to get it fixed because BB was looking for the island island fruit to fix it that way. Let’s not forget that scene with kinemon in wano when kaido stabbed him(law never put him back together correctly) I will assume if law fucks it up it stays fucked up since he is alive the action is in constant effect like big mom and her homies. His whole scary trait is that he would be in the middle of a sentence and finish the sentence on the other side of the room and somewhere in that time he cut you and did other stuff.
Thats why I think him having that devilfruit could be interesting because he was already fast enough to achieve the same goal; how would you know where to “aim” your observation haki if he’s moving too fast to hone in on?
I think shiriyu is meant to be a character that can help zoro unlock future sight so that he can stand more on par with mihawk. Shiriyu is also a real swordsman so maybe he could help zoro improve his swordsmanship and give him some hints to unlocking a black blade
They should just give them a crown for 1 billion, make it even more symbolic
What a blasphemy of a title
It's been quite obvious for a long time(except to KOL) that Garp was stronger than Roger, because Garp considered Roger his friend and didn't want their fun adventure to end by Roger getting captured. This is why it was sad for Garp to see Roger turning himself in, and why Garp was so dedicated to protecting Ace.
It's also possible that they were friends for much longer than we've been shown. Remember, they are both D's, and hold the Will of D. It's possible that they just had different ways of going about things, which is why Garp became a Marine and Roger became a Pirate. Garp wanted to do things his own way, follow rules and structure in order to achieve his goals, while Roger wanted to be unfettered and free.
I also believe that Garp wanted to play it safe, because he knows About Imu, while Roger just didn't care, and wanted to be free.

We can see a lot from how the story played out in how each Character achieved their goals. Roger conquered the Grand Line, Became king of the Pirates, "found" One Piece, and started an Era the likes of which none have seen before, all because he was free from rules, gov't, etc, holding him back. Roger was so free, that he even was the one who turned himself in. He wasn't captured, no.... He turned himself in. Turned himself in all to create the greatest spectacle, to start the greatest of Eras. Roger was truly free... Free until his last breath. Hell, he might have even stopped his own heart or something before his head was chopped off, or possibly his body gave out (he was terminally ill apparently), right at the end. . A man truly free.. Until the end.
What about Garp? Garp became the "Hero of the Marines," but ... That's it. Even though he is "unfettered" for the most part with regards to "Marine Regulations," he didn't want to become an Admiral because it meant more duties, and meant he would be "less free." There's also the fact that he probably would have been directly controlled by the "Celestial Dragons" which are his enemy. He also probably didn't want to become too high up because that connects to Imu, when he's trying to break free and possibly defeat Imu in his own way. I believe Garp doesn't actually want to follow the rules, but has to, because he knows Imu's strength. I think the giant ball and Chain that Garp threw at Luffy during Water 7? was a very significant thing, because it shows Garp is chained, and by him throwing the chain at Luffy, and Luffy "dodging" it, it shows that While GArp is still Chained, Luffy is free from the Chains that Bind Garp.
Marineford also was significant, because it shows us that Garp is powerless when it comes to saving Ace, or do what he must, because he is bound by those Chains... The Chains of "Duty" towards the Marines, "Duty" towards his Ancestry "D" and just his Duty of trying to defeat Imu(which is part of his Destiny/Duty of D). Garp could have easily OBLITERATED everyone at Marineford... Easily. I do not doubt in my mind if Garp actually tried, that no one could have stopped him(Unless it was Vergo)... Even when Ace Died, Garp had to hold back, to the point he told Sengoku to hold him down, because he was going to kill Akainu. I believe this was all so his duty towards D and everything wouldn't be destroyed if he actually acted there.
Yes, he promised Roger to protect Ace, but the promise they had to each other about the Will of D, is much stronger, the Promise D has is much stronger, much bigger... Sadly, Roger, Ace, as well as his mother Portagus, were sacrifices towards this goal, as well as I'm sure many other D's throughout the 900 years since the Void Century. This is the only reason I can see why Garp is more restrained. There is something he has to do by being a Marine, but by "following the rules" Garp ended up losing out so much.
We see that with being "Restrained" and "Following the rules" one ends up losing out, even if they are at the top tier with regards to strength and ability.

In all seriousness, I already explained above why Garp is stronger than Roger.
Garp is a Monkey, he isn't serious until he needs to be, look at Luffy and Dragon.
Luffy is wild and free, but only hurts someone when they hurt his friends or do something bad. Vegapunk told us that Dragon normally is a pacifist when Dragon said he's going to fight now, showing it's now time to be serious. Garp just joked around and had a good time, he always was like that. Probably the time he was actually serious was the "God Valley' Incident, which we haven't been shown.
Also, if Garp really did go against Xebec's entire crew, and if Roger was Whitebeard's Rival meaning they were on par, then that means Garp would have had to put in the weight to fight against Xebec, Big Mom, Stussy, etc, even if Roger didn't exactly face off against WB. We are led to believe that Whitebeard and Roger were on par, so how does one defeat Xebec who's stronger, as well as the others in the crew with similar strength to WB?
Garp is one of the strongest in the series, if not at the very peak with Imu. There's no way we are going to discount any of the Monkey D's. The other D's are strong enough, but Monkey is important.
We even saw Silvers Rayleigh say he doesn't think he could mess with Blackbeard and hopes this will go well...(Yes it's not Roger but Rayleigh is up there).
Meanwhile Garp goes head first into BB's base not giving a fuuuuuuuk, destroying it in one punch.
You guys mentioned a marineford movie which would be dope asf and got me thinking, I’d love to see some of the cover stories turned into a movie as well or at least some sort of special. Like maybe they pick a few important ones like Enel on the moon and Germa 66 / MADS and just focus in on those and add stuff Oda wants

sheryu could probably be powerful enought to awaken the fruit and not just be invisible but intangible like when obito uses the kamui he would be able to make pieces of him not exist for moments in time. something that could even by pass the haki cancellation of devil fruits. you hit a logia user with haki it will hurt but if that haki hits nothing because that part ceased to exist nothing happened.

I was thinking and theoretically with the GLUG-GLUG fruit, you might be able to excrete/combine the alcohol with the moisture in the air. This resulting in the skin absorbing it and rendering the opponent intoxicated/disoriented, having a harder time to effectively use Haki/devil fruit

Luffy split the sky in his base with Kaido, is destroying afew building really that impressive when we've seen Zoro cut Pica and Law cut a mountain? This puts him above the commanders since he has ACOC. But the anti-Admiral agenda is pushing this Garp > Akainu agenda. Nothing shown in the chapter puts him any higher than I had Garp before, above Greenbulll but lower than the other Admirals. If you didn't think Garp had ACOC, you weren't reading the story properly. Even if he beats Shiryu, which he probably wont just yet, we all had Garp above Shiryu anyway.

I like the power scaling in one piece. Things like endurance means a lot, White Beard, caused all the marines to fight just because they knew what he could do and he was sick. I think Garp is top 10 but probably 10, I would not put all of the titanic captains above Garp. I also don't think Garp has to die now, I think it only makes sense if Black Beard kills Garp and if Kobe goes to save him sees that and get's almost killed and then Luffy has 2 reasons to kill Black Beard. Remember Luffy respects Coby and there are a lot of heavy hitters still left. I would say if Akainu kills Garp but doesn't kill Black Beard would be something awesome. I think the story is moving but Garp doesn't need to die yet, Coby doesn't need to do anything super special at all as he is not top 50 in terms of power scaling, Mihawk has to do more than fight Zoro and Shanks has to be weakened and stalemated by the rear admiral and remember with all the power he has he has been concerned or scared about Black Beard. Dragon has to play a role and Luffy and most of his crew needs about 100 powerups before they compare with the top crews. I Also thoguth that it was weird Big Mom didn't use haki during her fight in Wano, but she didn't use haki in most of her fights. She was automatically coated or had some protection so she never really used Haki. I mean didn't the nun lady say she would be Fleet Admiral level? I now need to see Dragon, Shanks, Mihawk, Imu, the Goresei, Luffy, Black Beard, Zoro, Akainu, Garp, Kaido and I guess Big Mom fight with all the extra pirates under them, like all the commanders and marine folks. This is such a huge world and I think some of our ideas are not necessary. Like Garp dying in the next year does nothing for the story. We need the powerful players and with all the people named and then cross guild and Doffy, like that's a lot of power and strategy on the table. This is just such an amazing manga

Usopp n Chopper become travelling Doctors with Usopp selling toad oil n Chopper curing whoever buys 1. Zoro will become the strongest swordsman n a yonko. Sanji n Franky will open up a steam bath restaurant where you can eat while naked. Brook will beat up Apoo n make him his personal dj. Jimbei will become a yonko n protect Fishmen worldwide. Luffy will get banished to the moon for eating most the meat from the planet
All these reactors don’t know power scaling. Top 5 in the verse goes Xebec 1, prime garp/roger (either or for 2/3), prime sengoku/white beard (either or for 4/5)

If Oda right now came out and said : "Garp is equal to Roger in every way" , some people will still say something like oh he`s just lying. I agree with Brago, King knocked Big Mom off her ship, Shiryu needs to do something, even if he's weaker. Maybe he gets up without much damage and send a air slash that cuts Garps cheek. Shiryu is the top commander of the BB pirates, with BlackBeard and Aokiji next to him, he needs to look serious.
I’m curious why so many people sleep on Kizaru’s power and rank him below Aokiji, Kizaru seems absolutely OP especially if he has awakening

I didn't know where else to say this. Oda has foretold Garp's style of attack, Look at the manga chapter where Ussop comes back. Garp in typical manga/anime style names his attack. "Meteor Fist." so clearly there is a stronger version that is space based. Don't believe me? Go look.
Aokiji lied to Teach. Sword has always been portrayed as an undercover gtoup, similar to the CP's. The difference between the CP's and Sword is clearly that only a few members in the marines know about the group, that is exactly why they follow protocols because Sword is not a known group aside from to its members. The reason why Aokiji was playing with fire there was because not only is he probably a member of Sword, but he also lied about how their members operate when it comes to taking orders coming from above. The reason why they follow protocols is because they should operate as normal marines.
The only piece out of place in the puzzle of how well the Sword group is playing their cover is the fact that CP Aegis 0 know about their existence and we still have not seen any inner investigation carried out among the marines to capture Sword members. It might be due to the fact that the CP's are meant to be secret groups as well and they would be the only ones whom could do such a task.
Here is a thought I haven't seen brought up about Shiryu. Don't you think the clear clear fruit would be able to hide from observation haki like how kadios dragon fruit made his skin uncuttable unless powerful armament haki is applied.
My guess is that zorro would have to up his observation haki to overcome him
lets just say that kuzan is the 10th titanic captain. what if its zoro vs kuzan and sanji vs shiryu. i only say that because kuzan is the 2nd strongest and shiryu having the invisible fruit could be a call back to thriller bark and him being a swordsman-> he hates zoro 2 things. 100% a stretch but gomu gomu no theory

in certian games the stars change colors (Example from op voyage chronicles: a 5 star would be 5 gold stars but, a 10 star would be 5 red stars with one red star being +1)(and 11 stars would be 1 rainbow star but i doubt they would do this one)
