can i offer you some advice ? save your money . dont eat out , buy a breakfast cooker and a foreman and buy your food and cook it everyday . will save you hundreds of dollars weekly and have a plan . dont just go with the flow ..time is the 1 thing money cant buy , if you plan on trucking for a full life career i would advised against it due to you will lose your whole lif e, your basically selling your soul to sit behind the wheel for half the day , its terrible for your mind and body . i would suggest being OTR for 6 months to a year tops and in that time save 40-50k and work from ya laptop getting some sort of certification for a different career or some sort of college online getting degree on your free time so when you quit you will have around 40-50k in the bank and a new career where your life wont be wasted and or go local and find a good local job etc , but trucking as a full life career is not a good idea man , its a waste of life . spend your time wisely while your in the truck or before you know it months will pass you by and you would notice that you accomplished nothing but waste time and money while making somebody else richer , so if you gona be a truck driver then make sure your not just a truck driver ,, make sure your doing something on the side and taking care of your mind and body .
I definitely hear that I appreciate the advice
I love this advice
Funny thing I got my CDL at prime 6 years ago I still have several brothers at Prime two of them just bought their trucks. I got nothing but good to say about Prime
Thanks. Love you man. Stay Positive! Let your light shine for the Most High
Young man please don’t allow negativity from others disturb your inner peace. I’m speaking from experience from dealing with people like that in the trucking industry when I use to have a trucking channel years ago. Don’t let them disturb your inner peace. As long as you’re creating content that you enjoy, that’s all that matters.
I appreciate your energy and comment 🫶🏾
I’m a Hirschbach driver as well so far so good 💪🏾💫🙏🏾
Aye what up fellow Hirschbach driver stay safe out there 🙌🏾
How much can you take home weekly
Enjoyed your video...have a Blessed safe week😊
I see you back on it getting g co consistent. Let's Go Champ. Peace King
Appreciate bro I’m tryin 😂
I'm with JoyRide Logistics, making $1,635 gross salary company driver pay. Take in bank $1,303.97 net. Drive a dedicated route with dry van easy safe lane from Goodyear AZ to Lamirada, CA. Then, I pick up an Amazon load back to Phoenix AZ. I'm saving $1k a week to buy my own truck. I'm thinking of working at JoyRide for the next 2 years until I get my own truck, then considering Hirsch.
Thx bro you helped me decide what company to start with to get my CDL thx again
you will be successful as long as you keep the good vibes going. Dont fall into the pool with the rest. Keep your head up sir.
Much appreciated
I’m at 13 minutes in to the video and didn’t get any helpful informative info. Good job
Hey nothing wrong with not wanting negativity. I agree i think there’s too much negative people when it comes to trucking companies
One of the biggest issues are people throwing their experiences and insecurities on to you as if it’s your fault why things didn’t work out for them at said company.
@@mvpmasterjay oh yes ive read many reviews and comments like that and it gets me upset, like maybe your experience was shit but mine has been great. We need to be making money out here and if you gotta make a choice do the one that works for you not what everybody else wants you to do. No company is gonna be perfect.
@strayhart2323 exactly! See you get it
@@strayhart2323if you think 1200-1500 is money you r part of why trucking is soo mess
@@GPROMOTIONSpeople expenses are different..how do what other truckers do affect you..as long as u r making money that all that matters..everybody so quick to say i can work local and get the same pay..up here in michigan the only way you can get work is to work for an owner op..which i dont trust..so Hirschbach and these videos have got me going to orientation on monday and im super excited..just left Schneider’s with my 850 check..thankfully i will be on a dedicated account and my truck will be my truck and only I can mess it up
I am at prime and I am thinking about going lease, but I am not taking any holiday or home time for a year. I will document my journey. Maybe I go company first 😂
I say go for it ! When you go lease an emergency fund is a must! Best of luck to you bro. Stick with Prime as long as you can there’s going to be days that’ll frustrate you but just stay the course
@@mvpmasterjay thank you bro 💪🏾
Thank you because I have orientation Monday I can’t wait . I’m glad u said they because it’s always somebody somewhere being rude or negative
Good luck on your orientation 🙏🏾
Well hello there my brother my first time hearing you is the first truck driver that I've heard that sounded intelligent LOL when you get a chance
I am a Smithfield driver. We’re not allowed to try to recruit you guys. I guess it’s in your noncompete. CR, England drivers that do Smithfield dedicated suck but they are extremely good about being on time.
I’m joining Hirschbach on the 8th as an LP. Can you tell me if your settlements are going to the bank or fuel card. And I look forward to seeing you out there and hope to shake your hand sir.
Your first settlement will most likely be on your fuel card.. setup direct deposit from orientation so that way your settlements are sent to your bank card sooner than later
@@mvpmasterjay I greatly appreciate your help.
@@firestarter2550What you should do is Set Up an LLC through your stated & Get a business account
But how’s the LP going over there
You are so on point my friend great video Love it I Drive as well , as for your miles or pay that’s your business be safe bro .
Started driving a year ago and said i would never lease..Yet here I am debating leasing with hirsch lol.
I get why some people don’t want to lease but I’ve gotten so accustomed to getting paid 1099
dont look at that little place across the street from the dubuque yard if you dont want negativity. They talked me right out the doors with how they take money for doing things, and take more money for doing things. So I was convinced it was a NO win situation.
I haven’t been to the main yard as of yet but I’ll keep that in mind
Hey bro great video im looking to join the company. Whats the pre employment drug test method they do?
Hair follicle & urinalysis
I'm lease operator rite now this place is turning out to be a joke,I'm not hiding behind this screen my truck number is 320214.. communication with DM sucks, out 2800 plus I brought home 650 bucks,, over200 out my own pocket has went to washouts scales,I've tried with open heart and a smile but please, future drivers need to know the truth, for rookies this is great learning experience, for seasoned driver lol it's horrible..
Have a great day driver wish u the best.
Aye man I’ll have to agree with you I left the company about 3 months ago lol just haven’t uploaded a video since then 😂
I’m coming over to Hirschbach bro. And most of the ones that are bitter like that are just steering wheel holders not truck drivers. Prob solar powered too
I’m not too worried about trolls lol most of them don’t anything better to do anyway 😂
When i drove for crs we had super singles i jack knife my truck volvo. I was empty rain n wind.
I am coming on board in April. Like to get any help u can give me!
Famale truck driver here. Don't ever show your pay stubs. Know one needs to see it. It's not their money it's yours. Also, you don't know who is watching your channel. A lot of UA-camrs tell to much of their business.
Very true. I only done it once but I won’t so it again. Some people are too open with their lives like the world isn’t full of psycho people
Do what you want he’ll show them if you want to
No one cares but u
So since you’re doing lease. You can decline loads?
Yes you can
How much can you take home ofter expenses
The average
@@marvinrobinson9289 recruiter said average is 15-2k
I'm looking to come over to hirshbach. Would be my first reefer company
Happy to hear that best of luck to you when you get here
Do you choose the area u want to deliver to or u just go wherever
I’m OTR so I drive wherever they send me we usually stay East of Colorado unless you ok with going out West
Yah you do you. Haters will always hate. You keep running and make your money. The real reason they are negative about a company is because they were shitting employees. No drive and no ambition. Drive on bro.
Was considering Hirschbach until you mentioned front facing camera. Hell no would I ever work for a company that has that sh*t 😅 that’s straight up invading someone’s privacy
Lol can’t blame you it seems like of companies are trying to add it to their fleets
@@mvpmasterjay that’ll be the day I’ll be getting my own truck if it comes down to that 😅
Alot of companies are doing that. I'm at Roehl phase 2. They have cameras as well. But drove year n six months 14 yrs ago.
It's not your truck. If insurance demands then they do it.
All they have is night driving and then switching you to daytime driving and then night time driving after a while you will turn into nut case
.99 for fuel?
Yes $.99 a gallon
Yes but the company pays .98cents per gallon they make money off you, check for yourself.
What’s the truck govern at? And you lease
Truck is governed at 68 by pedal 70 by cruise control. Also yes I lease
Do they do hair test?
Yes they do
Wats hometime and miles per week I like to be home on weekends Midwest regional?
I’m OTR but I believe they do have regional accounts in the Midwest. Call a recruiter to find out, link in my bio
How do u do ur driver recap?
I only drive about 8 1/2 - 9 hours each day to gain good recaps
You say you want people to give you advice. Well, here is some good advice. Take your money and make smart investments if you plan on staying in the truck.
This advice I can respect I appreciate it sir
What day does the pay period end
@rickyfarley1230 Midnight every Tuesday
Are you lease purchase driver
Everyone drives trucks now 😂 ..i had my cdl since 2018 been doing OTR for 6 years now. that 2020 pandemic humble a lot of folks LoL my training company was Steven’s transport based out of Texas. I only drive for mom&pop company’s cus they pay the best but good 👍 luck on your journey and stay safe
Appreciate it bruh, I got homies that’s been in the game just as long and they refuse to work for mega carriers 😂 I’m the only one that does it’s the security blanket that keeps me with mega carriers
Can we see your pay checks then
I appreciate your comment but I don’t show my paychecks on the internet sorry
love your attitude , but damn you cant say 50 k , 60 , 75k, 80k,
About $1500/week average
u leave prime to go hirschbach . but that is dollars per mile from percentage to mile not good hmmmm.
I did what works for me mind ya business
I drive what I want as the way I want to drive. I don't do splits on my clocks. If I want a 34 I take it.
There is no one calling me every hour if I am weather bound and I certainly don't hear any BS about it. I don't run nickle-n-dime recaps on clocks at 2hrs 20 minutes for another 10hr break, etc., etc. i get my home time when I want it...anywhere in the country. I don't have to be in a specific yard to do it. I make what I make by virtue of "it's what I want and works for me. The total picture for me beats the 240,000 dollar crap these drivers are talking about making in 90 days. Mannn If I had a nickel for every UA-cam'r bragging about their 10-20,000 dollar weekly settlements I would have retired in Key Largo years ago. I don't strap. I don't tarp. I don't haul tanks with worn out baffles. My truck is new.
What I do and how I do works for me and me only. I drive like I want to drive and am not stressed on cookie vomit wondering if Per-diem is covered enough. My taxes are up and no Per-diem AT ALL to knock my max on SS when I draw and that is WITH 4-rolled over 401-k's, 4-separate profit shares still clickin' and I sleep when I want to sleep.
There is no comparison to what I have that is "out offered" by another company...even at 25cpm more per mile. Everyone figures their own costs and consequences and ONLY looks at money. Money don't pay the bills when you have to put a truck where it don't belong and damages are done then you have to drive at hours that causes you to park at 1am.
To each his own. He is right. We don't give a damn about what another company pays. I enjoy my driving, then I get paid, not the other way around.
Poor tink tink
You boring just drive your truck
But you watching my video f**k outta here
@@mvpmasterjayand you know how to communicate.
Yo bro can we chat? I’m interested in joining lease OTR I’m a runner at the company I’m at now but I’ve been negative with my checks for two weeks now
