@Mr.ML2024 wow, I was there for 13 months. When I left the trucks were speed limited to 65mph. So already slow enough now even slower? So basically drivers there will NEVER, EVER, earn what K&B claims. Smh.
You can use PC for parking as long as it’s to a safe destination. You use it by stopping, putting it in PC then when you get to the destination go “on duty” for post trip. Then in the morning you return back to the spot you were originally at in PC, and then stop and put it on duty pretrip. This isn’t illegal, this is actually DOT rules. But you don’t want to do it daily or anything for them to investigate ur logs.
Umk no with pc you don't have to return to the original location that was changed in the last fmcsa rules update. ..you can also pc loaded or empty to a reasonable safe location
It’s not the receiver or shipper that doesn’t respect our time it’s the company. Pay us for our time. Over 40 is time and a half. You said it, you can make more on a regular job. The numbers matter. Time is money
The recruiter Sean lied and out on my Dac report that I abandoned a truck with a Tyson load which was a lie. I didn’t know why I couldn’t find employmend for several year later. It states on my report for 7 years. What really happened is I didn’t respond to Qualcomm messages and they sent a tow truck after I stopped for my sleeper berth break. That company is the worse I’ve worked for. They also fired me a day before I was eligible for my sign on bonus.
This is part of the reason I made these videos. I don’t want to see drivers put into this kind of situation. I was able to get out fairly clean but I know many aren’t so lucky.
K&B was the worst company I have ever worked for period. Worst I was ever treated by any company. They pay so much because they can't keep drivers. They have to offer big money to have drivers.
That’s how most are, they want you running-recapping 3 to 4 weeks. If they say 2 weeks out then home you can bet you be recapping. And there’s another great point as soon as you get unloaded they got you another load that picks up later in the day and you run out of hours getting loaded. You put in a hell of a lot of hours in trucking and don’t get much time for yourself. They running drivers off doing these things. Thanks for your video!
Marten Transport is the same way. Reason for me to quit after 3 years. I was going to K&B but from the start just talking to recruiters i knew they are just the same. All this corporations are united to control our time our pay this is getting out of hand for us.
K&B work the dogshxt out of you🤦🏾♂️ and the constant recaps they make you do is overwhelming… I had DM Grayson and we always bumped heads… I only recommend KB if you want to make a quick buck but if you want a career out of it DONT‼️
none of these carriers are career jobs. Just stop it. They are McJobs and nearly 100% turnover or more yearly. You can work walmart night stocking and make more. As long as the cdl schools are pumping out new drivers this will continue.
Yess I've carried loads over 45k pounds and I'm still legal because of the size of the tanks and the apu loophole you get 400 extra pounds if you have a apu but every load I've haul is always heavy
He reminded me of a video I'll have to make about the time 4 state troopers pulled me over on the interstate and made me unload the company truck I was in after the company called them because I turned the truck around.. great video
I’m 62, have 34 years OTR experience, 19 1/2 yrs as an O/O and 3 million accident free miles. I usually ignore all these trucking videos. You are exactly correct on your complaints. I have nothing but regret. This profession is not worth it. The hours you work, uncompensated time, time away from home, living in a truck, it’s B.S.! Only exception would be a good union LTL job which are scarce. If you aren’t a woman or a minority you can forget that option. So much for my “white privilege” (woke bull 💩). Get a normal job, work 40 hrs a week . Even local trucking jobs you work too many hours usually 5 1/2 to 6 days and 10-12 hrs a day + and you’re too tired to do anything but eat and sleep when you get home . There are exceptions, kudos to those that find them.
KB 😅was garbafe back in early 2000. I drove out of my hometown of Waterloo Iowa. Tyson loads and dudnt have to wait. Crystal Distribution had tons of trailers there.
So glad i watched exactly what i needed to dosc9ver the trith about this compamy to avoid such. Ill be redacting my started application phuck kb transport.
Think aby this. The driver mentioned $1750 a week. If that was a typical 9-5 40 hour work week it would pay @$43 an hour. But trucking wants you working 7 days a week. 70 hours at @$26 an hour. Then you have to deduct the cost of living on the road and giving up your social life. Its a tough racket.
Pretty accurate im still working for them and they now govern the trucks to 57mph but the system sucks and slows your truck down to 50mph and true they always want us to PC OUT of shippers or receivers and you work everyday for 2 months they do lock your phones and if your waiting over 7 ir 8 hours on a door getting unloaded or waiting for a door they count it as a rest and expect you to keep rolling when finished
I’m so glad I didn’t accept the invitation to come to orientation… I’ve heard to many horror stories, in the reviews I’ve read that on the first day of orientation, 17 drivers sent home, something not right about that, and if you quit it’s your on responsibly to find a ride to the airport 💩💩💩
Drivers get sent home for lying on they application, they do a serious background check and require your most previous employer to verify that you worked there, if they can’t get it from your most recent employer, they will try to get it from you and if they can’t get concrete evidence of your most recent employment from you then they’ll send you home. Also, they take health examinations seriously, I know a guy who was deemed a disability risk and they let him go in the middle of orientation after visiting the health physician and he was ex-military, another guy got let go because he was overweight and couldn’t pass the medical examination - blood sugar requirement. And there are others who fail the drug test.
Did my homework last year on this company..God send i meet an ex driver from K&B at Richmond, IN big rest area while i was exercising..He Told me everything your saying and then some..I Never gave K&B another look...almost 20 years driving as we all say im truly Done with O.T.R..its Dead!!!!!!
So if they fire you do they give you a 2 week notice hell no they won't so I'll never give a 2 week notice any where I work and if they didn't give me the opportunity to return the truck when I requested then they can come recover there truck that's reality business is business
I have been driving for 37 yr as far as a recap I wish it would go back to that Some people call their selves a drive but still work at McDonald’s the company is needing drivers not burger Flippers
I will say this, the dispatcher I had was cool as hell. Very laid back. The people in the office were cool. The problem with K&B is the ones above the dispatchers and staff. They’re total nazis. The one and only good thing about K&B is the guaranteed pay. Some weeks I got paid for 2500 miles and didn’t drive 2500 miles. Anyone who works there or have worked there knows how the loads are. I don’t mind the relays. It just meant more drop and hook. So it wasn’t always live loads on both ends. The weeks I didnt run 2500 miles were the ones where I got caught up at a Tyson or something like that. They left me alone on weekends, i generally got longer runs on the weekends. And they were on point about getting me home when it was time. Like I said, the dispatch was great. Overall I don’t think it’s worth going there because they fire you for anything. No second chances. One screw up, you’re gone. No exceptions. Like I said the higher ups are a bunch of nazis.
To answer the question about 2weeks and why some like it...they don't tell you that some have records and KandB pays for tickets or fees and in return they owe them so they have to tow the line...they will try and hold last check and check your DAC after you leave sir
Money at KB is decent. One pro that he ivan didn't say was free flights for home time to and from. Cell phone policy, most have 2 phones, PC policy ivan was talking about is a Fact or they will ask you to call the Logs department to " fix or touch up your logs". The Relays are a killer. You can be 6 hrs in your break sleep and they will relay the load.
Terrible company guys…they don’t care about your rest. They will literally have you up and running 24/7…they constantly call you give you unreasonable appointments by double booking you. And if you quit they get in their feelings and try to withhold your last check…absolutely worst company i had the misfortune of driving for…the .70 cpm aint worth the headache. They have drivers in prison because they fell asleep behind the wheel trying to do as dispatch tell them. The reviews are real apply at your own risk
I quit after 3 days. The truck was nasty smell like shit and nasty as dog. I clean it up yet the smell still remained. They will put an app on your phone to see if you get on your phone while driving. They suck. Don't work there.

I worked there for 4mo. this is a chew up and spit you out company. they demand splits count as 10hr break. Home time got to fly in and out so you burn 2 days off at airports. got 12yrs experience. there's better.
Biggest red flag= Yes, you are correct about using personal conveyance. If you are caught, it will result in a violation on your PSP report. Many reputable local companies take this into consideration. This could potentially be a deal breaker, so the question to consider is whether it is worth it in the long run.
Yes, but it depends on the situation. You can use your PC if you experience a delay at the shipper or receiver. For example, if your logs show that you arrived at the shipper with only 10 minutes left on your clock, and then three hours later you used your PC to move to a nearby truck stop that indicates it was not delayed by shipper. the DOT could flag it as a violation if they choose to. He states that loads were tight and had to use pc.
OTR sucks u have no life. You always at work. Paids or not. Always on recap meaning u work everyday. That life sucks. Evey customers got a different time window.
That’s one of the big problems with trucking is none of you new drivers don’t communicate on the C.B. You’re driving dumb and blind. A C.B. Is the difference between you getting a ticket or getting stuck in the right lane when you should be in the left lane!
What in the world does CB radio do with this video! Some of y’all drivers doesn’t understand how to evolve with new technology, yes I do have a CB radio in my truck, but there is far better technology available now that you don’t even need the CB. So get to know the new technology and you may save something and money

In order to qualify for the $1,750 gross MINIMUM, you must not be late AND available for dispatch Mon to Mon
They claim 2500 miles per week....you will rarely get anywhere close to that.
You'll be running every day, 200, 300, 400 miles, and if you do get 600+, they will relay/T-call off of you to someone else.
As a matter of fact, expect T-call....all the time. At least 3+ per week.
The worst of the worst is having to sit at a dock for 3 to 8 hours and then being expected to PC out and having all those hours counted towards your 10 hr break. So, you'll be getting maybe 5 hours to sleep after a minimum of a 14-hour day and the expected to "rest" for 5 hours. Oh, and that is assuming the dispatch doesn't schedule a relay/T-call during your 5 hour "rest." Smh. Worst of the worst treatment.
Yuppp pretty accurate I've work for then and still working and now they limited the speed to 57 but the truck usually stays at 50 or 53 mph
@Mr.ML2024 what! No freaking way. That's ridiculous.
@rogerg0834 I work for them 2 months left for a month and came back and in orientation they told us that the trucks have speed limiters so if your in a 55mph County road your truck will only go 50 ir 53 mph and in big city's they are limited to 57 but in all honesty they don't reach that speed the only reach 50 or 54 mph in a city highway
@Mr.ML2024 wow, I was there for 13 months. When I left the trucks were speed limited to 65mph. So already slow enough now even slower? So basically drivers there will NEVER, EVER, earn what K&B claims. Smh.
💯 I'm on my out🏃🏽♂️➡️🏃🏽♂️➡️🏃🏽♂️➡️🏃🏽♂️➡️
You can use PC for parking as long as it’s to a safe destination. You use it by stopping, putting it in PC then when you get to the destination go “on duty” for post trip. Then in the morning you return back to the spot you were originally at in PC, and then stop and put it on duty pretrip. This isn’t illegal, this is actually DOT rules. But you don’t want to do it daily or anything for them to investigate ur logs.
And ur wrong lol I love trucking like that and trying to get these guys to hire me
Umk no with pc you don't have to return to the original location that was changed in the last fmcsa rules update.
..you can also pc loaded or empty to a reasonable safe location
Damn that's a long time for ten off , as I only currently have to do 21 for 5 and make about the same
hey, man...I'm looking for a schedule like this, can you tell me some companies that do this?
@@johnny7121it’s probably Schneider
Legally you can not run PC for pulling a trailer to get load or del load if something happens you are hung out to dry it you cdl not their problem
It happens a lot there
Indeed
It’s not the receiver or shipper that doesn’t respect our time it’s the company. Pay us for our time. Over 40 is time and a half. You said it, you can make more on a regular job. The numbers matter. Time is money
😂 Yeah they got me I don’t like the police but K&B stole everything off my truck 🛻 when I went on HOMETIME they’re poor…
F that re-cap daily crap! That only benefits the company and hurts the driver!
True, it limits the miles you can get.
60 days on the road…that schedule is gonna make you mentally unstable very soon …some sort of PTSD i believe and no resets at all …F*ck ‘em
Sounds like a very crooked company get out fast as you can
K&B was the worst company I have ever worked for period.
The 2 months for 10 days off is to long. 45 days out 10 days off with that guarantee would be acceptable imo.
Yea that's a deal breaker. Not being able to use my phone.
You can use your phone for handfree calling only
I think they want to have their fuel tanks smaller so they can carry more product on their trailers
It only took you 34 years to figure that all out... Sounds like you're a quick study
@@DRIVERZLOUNGE I leave it to you newbies to continue bringing the profession down even further!
Man you said it all! I would like to see some respect given to truck drivers!! This ish ain’t easy and everyone can’t do it!!
Hey, my company makes rules on the fly and says the rule has always been in place and the driver is made to feel stupid that they didn't know.
So many deal breakers
Pretty accurate im still working for them and they now govern the trucks to 57mph but the system sucks and slows your truck down to 50mph and true they always want us to PC OUT of shippers or receivers and you work everyday for 2 months they do lock your phones and if your waiting over 7 ir 8 hours on a door getting unloaded or waiting for a door they count it as a rest and expect you to keep rolling when finished
when they govern at 57 cause last time i passed on they do 65
@philosophicaltrucker9279 I want to say like 2 months ago it's a new system that it automatically slows you down
They lock your phone?…wow
@@breal1266 yes
@@Mr.ML2024 Ok thanks…I was thinking about going with them, but ima keep looking
They definitely think they are special. I thank god i didnt ever go there. Thanks for warning . Appreciate your video
When you mentioned $23 an hour compared to local. Are you talking about a 40 work eeek?
Did my homework last year on this company..God send i meet an ex driver from K&B at Richmond, IN big rest area while i was exercising..He Told me everything your saying and then some..I Never gave K&B another look...almost 20 years driving as we all say im truly Done with O.T.R..its Dead!!!!!!
So if they fire you do they give you a 2 week notice hell no they won't so I'll never give a 2 week notice any where I work and if they didn't give me the opportunity to return the truck when I requested then they can come recover there truck that's reality business is business
I have been driving for 37 yr as far as a recap I wish it would go back to that
Some people call their selves a drive but still work at McDonald’s the company is needing drivers not burger Flippers
Judging by your grammar, you’re clearly not a scholar.
Is 1750 before or after taxes
How’s the phone app ?
Money at KB is decent. One pro that he ivan didn't say was free flights for home time to and from. Cell phone policy, most have 2 phones, PC policy ivan was talking about is a Fact or they will ask you to call the Logs department to " fix or touch up your logs". The Relays are a killer. You can be 6 hrs in your break sleep and they will relay the load.
Thank you for sharing this
Thank you.
Ohh and they can see you through the tables they can access the camaras and see you
They also got recording devices in the radio
I always cover the tables cameras with tape at any company i work for
Sounds like Amazon drivers.
Based on these reviews makes me want to work for KB
But that’s every company they always want you to put in your 2 week notice
What about the forced Dispatch. That endangers the driver and public safety. On that kind of schedule.
Good video, stay safe
I quit after 3 days. The truck was nasty smell like shit and nasty as dog. I clean it up yet the smell still remained. They will put an app on your phone to see if you get on your phone while driving. They suck. Don't work there.
1750 u can do local
If you're at a dock you're on duty. It's the law.
how are wish
Come to Crete Carrier. PAGMAR
17.50 is not good money, stop this madness
1750 a week minimum. Still not great for otr
LOL 6 hours? Try bottom hopper.
The 2nd worse company I worked for. I lasted 3 months
They trash. That company is NEVER to be mentioned
Been with k and b 4 years i have no problems
Their the bottom of the garbage bend type of company THE WORST GO AT YOUR OWN PERRIL. I have a novel of complaints with them dating back 2010 bad,bad very bad.
So they fired you?
No, I put in my 2 week notice and walked away. This video was recorded while still employed.
I worked there for 4mo. this is a chew up and spit you out company. they demand splits count as 10hr break. Home time got to fly in and out so you burn 2 days off at airports. got 12yrs experience. there's better.
Thanks not for me!!! 😂
Dam k and b doesn’t sound good
Thr trucks are now govern to 57mph or slower and you work everyday
Yeah trucking is just trash now I don't want any parts of it anymore
What Kinda drug test
Biggest red flag= Yes, you are correct about using personal conveyance. If you are caught, it will result in a violation on your PSP report. Many reputable local companies take this into consideration. This could potentially be a deal breaker, so the question to consider is whether it is worth it in the long run.
No it won’t, pc’ing out of the receiver is legal, as long as you go to the nearest truck stop to break while empty
Glad I didn’t apply
Go to prime and lease
lmfao prime been shyte for years as far as back till the 90s
That’s one of the big problems with trucking is none of you new drivers don’t communicate on the C.B. You’re driving dumb and blind. A C.B. Is the difference between you getting a ticket or getting stuck in the right lane when you should be in the left lane!
Most of us can pay attention we dont need a CB ......you old drivers need to mind your business..... learn some grammar too...
Thanks for pointing out my grammar l will try and work on it and have a good day.
What in the world does CB radio do with this video! Some of y’all drivers doesn’t understand how to evolve with new technology, yes I do have a CB radio in my truck, but there is far better technology available now that you don’t even need the CB. So get to know the new technology and you may save something and money
you sound like a rookie lmfao BS is on the CB 90%+ of the time
Do they got cameras?
