    TC Electronic is pretty precious about documentation! Apparently the USB connector can be used as an input, but no luck getting it to recognize my Zoom recorder, which I want to use as a USB microphone (which feeds its USB output). This is for measuring pink noise. But much searching on YT and Google yields zip.

    How can I connect this to Maschine plus in standalone? I guess using a second soundcard with optical in/out connected to Maschine would do it?

    do you have to have the s/pdif or optical plugged in for it to work. Or can i just plug it into my pc usb to use? thanks

    Hi, just purchase the clarity m. Problem I'm having is when I lower or raise the volume on my interface (audiofuse) the lufs go up or down on the clarity, is this correct. Doesnt really give out a read of what the tracks lufs is only what my interface is putting out. Hope that made sense lol. Thanks in advance

      You must connect it to an output that is not volume controlled.

      @@scharnaglfotografie877 thanks bud. Sorted it with audiofuse customer support (my interface manufacturer). I cant use it anywhere outside of my daw without the volume being effected. I had to set up a master buss, set that to output to the optical, then routed that to the master set to output to my main L R speakers

      @@ossiia. I have exactly the same issue... I'm using Ableton live and want to see reference tracks / my mix referencing with the Clarity M. I also want to see youtube / Spotify levels but everytime I adjust volume on my SSL+ USB audio interface it changes the Levels and LUFS of the clarity.....
      How do I get around it - is there anything I need to install ?
      Thanks in Advance

    Hey Josh, thanks for this video :). Do you know if one has been made to correspond with logics (at any DAWs) Dolby atoms or binaural metering?

      I don't think so. There is another version of this that supports surround sound, but I'm not sure if it will support Atmos. I don't think it has enough channels.

    I don't get the plugin part. if the unit isn't "hardwired" how is it communicating with the plugin? i just bought this and I'm pretty bummed out about the lack of analogue inputs. I don't have fancy gear with optical outputs. I have no idea how to hook this up

    • @MusicTechHelpGuy
      @MusicTechHelpGuy  5 років тому

      It communicates with the plugin over usb, you only have to use the other ports if you want to hardwire it to your interface.

      @@MusicTechHelpGuy interesting.. so if I'm running logic pro, and i use the plugin, i can just connect a USB cord from my laptop and it will read the audio from the DAW? i don't have to run anything from my interface? if so thats great news

    Prob with this is they made it just a little too small.
    They are discounting these so maybe there's another rev on the way.

      Btw the new intro looks great! 👌🏾
