I'm trying to remember this. Many repairmen try to lift the connector, because the battery cable has to be pushed under the connector and that is the point where the pins of the connector bend if they do it wrong.

I don't do Fingerprint Touch Sensors. Low success rate and time consuming.
@@NorthridgeFix From what I know, you can't just replace the sensor, needs to be paired with the board, by a serializer equipment, is that right?

I'm thinking they probably leveraged hard with an inappropriate tool on the board connector, to lift the board so they could swap the battery, without freeing the adhesive under the board 1st.

Smart guy! Bad home shop. Did more damage with a simple battery replacement. We have (US) fast lube places doing oil changes, in vehicles, that destroy the engines. It is so much fun "talking" to people from around the world. Wisconsin, USA

What temperature does the "lowmelt" you use, melt at? The website says 160-200°C, but that isn't the actual melting temp right? That range is well above melting temp of regular 40-60 / 37-63 leaded solder.
What is the name of the station you use? With the iron and the tweezers? Never seen one that looks so light and non-bulky.

why didnt you fix the fingerprint issue? is that to dificult? or expensive? nice you got it working again but he did mention that in the letter he wrote
you can't fix fingerprint. Its hard coded by Apple to the mother board.
