Richters carries a number of smaller herb varieties. However most dwarf or compact herbs will still need regular pruning or clipping to keep them at a miniature size needed for miniature gardens. Here are some of the better dwarf varieties to try: Globette basil, African Power cress, strawberry geranium, Compact oregano, carpet pennyroyal, Blue Boy rosemary, dwarf sage, creeping savory, winter carpet savory, compact thyme, Fredo thyme, creeping lemon thyme, Orange Spice thyme, creeping thyme, Minus thyme. These are available from the Richters website www.richters.com/Web_store/web_store.cgi?show=list&prodclass=C003.
Not all herbs can be grown from seeds; some have to be grown from plant starts. But we can ship all of our seeds and plants anywhere in the U.S. Our plants and seeds are USDA-approved for shipping to the U.S. so there is no problem for our many American customers.
