I wanna start off this Monday morning by saying thanks guys for following.. Im not Perfect by no means an I admit when I’m wrong and it was wrong of me to let this truck sit no matter the situation! All we can do is come back stronger when we make mistakes and that’s how I’m addressing this situation. Im gonna bust my butt to be better!!
How is the lighting on this video?? That’s the next important question

I've been there done that with my dad I found out he does love me just had a weird way of showing it at times they go through things in life that makes them like that after so many years.

It's not too late man make things right, I'll tell you a quick little story my dad went in for outpatient knee surgery,, I did not even take the day off work and when they gave him the anesthesia he had a massive heart attack and died right there on the table so I never got to say hey by nothing and I regret that to this day that I didn't take time off work to go sit with him and you talking about hurting heart , buddy I have one

I started in a 9670 at the end of the cabover Era. I'm so glad things are moving forward with this build. Just put stacks on it for now Tim you can always do a headache rack this winter.

Love them 9600s my stepdad use to drive one in the 90s. Definitely takes me back to being a kid and goin on many trips with him.

As a former owner operator my first tractor was a 1981 K100 with spring suspension that beat me to death running empty or bobtailing that old school Detroit sound never gets old
I forgot about that truck. I can't believe you been working on it for 2 years and and still not done.

Hey Tim! I love your content; and everything to do with the channel. I especially love learning about driving truck, working on trucks; and the crazy loads and adventures you get into.
@George Jones I’ve learned that driving can be fun. Unlike, going to the beach on vacation; and sitting in traffic all the time. I also learned that; Diesel engines aren’t as complicated as I thought. Although they’re far from simple; I’m not intimidated by driving or wrenching on one. And, my view on respecting and being patient with everyone on the highway is a definite must. Plus, Tim and his crew makes it look like fun.
Bruce is going to be really stoked to know this truck even in the condition it's in rides like a dream. The engine in it is the classic engine I remember hearing so much as a kid on construction trucks that had it. That thing will outlast your entire family and still be able to crack a few more miles of reliability.

Nice to see the cabover back. The laws must be very different in the USA to the UK when driving tho, we'd be hung out to dry looking at a Mobile phone whilst driving along here in the UK.
Also that truck needs an interior like Blue Collar.

Cannot tell you how HAPPY I am about the USAF truck. I am in the hospital in a recovery mode, when I saw this you tube I could not watch it fast enough. Being a USAF VIET NAM. this means a lot to me. I been following this truck from Bruce. You are making my day a little better.

Tim I didn't think it was no reason for you to apologize but hey we understand man everybody is human we makes mistakes sometimes just learn from them and do better that's the way I look at life and I'm glad everything is coming along with this truck and I'm glad you back on it man I love that sweet sound of that Detroit engine that truck got a sweet sound you put the dual stacks on it I still hope it sounds that good because I know it's going to be a good looking truck when you finish it love the video and I definitely love the contents of it and I can't wait man for the next one
Your a great dad, I wish my son was around at that age so i could have done the same with him, he was 17 when he decided to come live with me and was spiraling down he was 38 before he got clean and sober, but he is around daily now so it all worked out

I am so happy for you.i always wondered what happen to this truck.you guys were making the most beautiful truck,and then it disappeared.im sure you mentioned it but it didn't register that you had a title problem.i bought an a.f. Truck from auction that was out of area 51. When I took paper work to d.m.v. They said truck doesn't exist .that was an adventure. Good luck ,great truck.keep trucking,god is your CO pilot.
I think letting your son have a chance to really work driving, packing the lunch box, getting up in the morning and making his truck ready everyday with all the responsibilities would get him in motion to see how hard dad worked for what he had. If its going to have a lowboy trailer for hauling hay on, air rides a must but there is a lot to be said for spring rides as well. I loved a good spring ride on the truck with walking beams on the trailer.... you could corner like no one else could even think about as if it went a little too far, a quick jerk on the wheel would let that trailer set the truck just flat level in seconds. I just can't put it into words as to how it all works. A nice headache rack is sweet but the back of this truck is straighter than most do look so depending on the light package you want on the truck for the back along with a sweet mural done like say a cartoon picture or a picture of a rowdy burnout truck on the back of the cab.... just some ideas
My grandpaps neighbor and son both run international cabovers. They were always on the road. I'm digging this truck. Side note I think it's time for a Braxton T-shirt. Love your channel.

I've looked up 1972 and 1982 and I believe the military lied to you. With the shape of the headlights and the shape of the grill, they sold you a 1982. She is still pretty. I love that you are taking the older trucks and making them daily use trucks. Kinda lime Orwell, you know her well. 😄

Cool Truck! I know from being in the Air Force, the Vehicles are well maintained, inspected daily, and or prior to use. most bases require vehicles to be washed and waxed also.
By the time Braxton is old enough to get a CDL, he will have so much experience and skills that he will be teaching his instructors!

I get it, life gets in the way but try to set a weekly schedule for yourself or better yet a 2-3 day schedule and stick to it best you can. If people see your trying theyll lay off ya. Monday work on classic, Tuesday airforce truck, Wednesday leave for doing the misc that you film. Or even stretch that out for your week. Its just tough because people get used to being invested in a project and on UA-cam most of time people continue filming only that project until their done where as your all over the place and we don't get any closure. I think that's the main complaint here. I have faith that you'll do better and work it out.
