Please everybody else who has a UA-cam channel, please pay attention to how Tim didn't hesitate to help his neighbors out who don't know how to drive in the snow yet. This is how we do it in Tennessee, and hopefully there are still people in other states that will do it as well.
Thanks for giving me hope for the younger generation Tim, it's beautiful seeing you passing it down. Happy new year everybody.
Hell yeah brother 💪💪❤️❤️you’ve been selected for today’s giveaway exercise🎁🎁🎁🎁Dm the above number to claim prize ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
Me and my kids go out every storm and pull people out with the winch. And see how long I can drive in 2wd before I need it. I have been that way since I was a kid though. Northern cal red neck
@@whitesnake370 same, my grandpa always did it, i always did it, its fun anyway
I love it. "give, or take a hundred or two." LOL
Always nice working in the snow 😆you guys rock ….so cool to see the fleet getting bigger and better ….cant wait to see new shop and no dirt or mud and stones hopefully
Hey Tim could you do a fleet truck tour its kind of hard to keep up with them all and would love to see what is still around and what is gone think it would be a great video
Tim your dad is such the coolest and love his stories. Great video's so much fun and happy new years to you Braxton and family
Great content as ever..never a slack moment around the shop..great to see your making good additions to the fleet and growing the business..you seem to have a pretty sound plan and business model..just be careful not to grow to fast but wishing you continued success for 2023😇👍🔧🇺🇸
When pop said “bump it don’t roll it” and Timmy says “ooooh” man that was a Tim and Brax moment for sure! I love it! Lol
As usual another great video!! You lucked up with the trooper. Speeding, no seatbelts. But it shows that they are human too!! Stay safe and keep ‘em coming
Always trips me out watching jr drive hahaha he’s such a grown man it’s grown men who can’t even do half what he does shows all in how your raised your a great role model most definitely
all those good deeds will come back to you and then sum , always follow your heart , glad to see things are going your way and you have good crew that always seem to figure out , keep your foot out of it, instead see if you can locate a hill that it can pull in with an empty trailer at speed and see what see will do , what a flaked green that looks different shades at different angles , God Bless brother and all of your people and keep inspiring us
Tim when comes to speeding and such you gotta lead by example for your drivers !
In his defense he was shaking the truck down. Speedometers are about the last thing you’re paying attention to when your shaking stuff down
Love the trucks!!! Definitely murder that classic out!!! That would be awesome!!!Great to see the cab over back!!!
Another good one bud and lucky lucky lucky lol. Love the bed on the new Ford looks good and more useful then the stock bed. Take care till the next one
The white international cabover with the Christmas stuff on it in the snow is a beautiful site
Y'all put out some great videos Love the content no matter what it is Y'all rock Stay warm and safe
Glad the cab over is fixed love that classic and you should paint it back dark metallic blue
happy holidays gentrys and wishing you a very happy new years!
Tim painted plum crazy purple that'll be a nice look for the fleet.👍🏾
Great video Tim love the classic an the cab over ❤
Normally I don't care for Internationals EXCEPT for the old Transtars, BUT I have to admit the white cow is a damn fine looking machine! I'm glad to see your fleet growing. Merry Christmas and I wish you, your family, and all of your employees a happy, safe, and amazing New Year! Stay safe my friend.
coe not cow... Dang auto correct
Tim unplug one of your front wheel speed sensors and it will disable the advance trac fully and let you do a lot more spinning
keep it up good video and have a Happy New Years to you and your family 🙏
I think you should come up with a paint scheme so that everyone that sees one of your trucks going down the road they know it's a Gentry & Sons truck. I like red, white and blue like the American flag. The Gentry & Sons American Dream Team. Great video, I love the content.
Hey Tim I seen your fld today in council bluffs Iowa. That is a cool freightliner sounds so good.
Happy new year Tim and family!!!
Tim gentry & sons, you should get some snow chains for your tyres. I saw heavy dee sparks do a rescue of new mom & pop who were running out of milk for junior. but the snow chains saved the day.
I think an old school paint job would look really good on the classic wich by the way is one of my favorite trucks next to a Peterbilt to drive
GLAD YOU ALL FINALLY GOT SNOW 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🎁🎄🎄🎁 TELL YOU WHAT YOU GUY'S ARE GOOD IT WOULD HAVE LITERALLY TAKEN ME 2 YEARS TO FIGURE ALL THAT OUT GREAT JOB DRIV,AH!!! AND BRO WATCH OUT FOR THE CRAZY TRUCKER!! DON'T LOOSE YOUR CDL OVER SOMETHING STUPID!!!! BLACK THE RIG OUT CHROME WHEELS EVERYTHING ELSE BLACL
I was watching your brother's channel and you seem pretty impressed by the power this Detroit has
Sounds like it's got a lot of power to me. Real good clean up on that diesel Tim Gentry. 73s.
Teal green would look really good on that truck especially with some Chrome oh man it would be gorgeous
Tim those classics are my favorite truck. IVE ALWAYS WANTED TO SEE ONE DONE IN A FORREST green with bronze fenders and lit all up maybe some bronze pin striping would be a beautiful lookin truck. The one I drove was royal blue with white fenders and the other one was all red the blue and white one was my fav color combo.
I keep looking at that Orange and white Peterbilt that you just got. It was love at first sight the hole time that I was driving that was my dream truck that truck is so Beautiful. I can't tell you how I feel about Pete. Wow. Thanks so much.

Hello please keep it 💯 like always, this guy and Channel is helpful and inspiring.
Good videos Tim keep up the good work
Hey Tim you should pick a company color andnas you paint your trucks start paimting them the same color. I know a while back you were tlking bout wanting your shop looking real professional like them other shops you were tlking bout. I thinknthat would look awsome and be one more step closer to that. Your doing awsome and growing crazy fast. Keep it up brother. Stay safe and God bless
Great to see your fleet growing. 2023 is going to be good for you
Hi! I would love to get back into it again, but I drove log truck for 52 years, one year of chip truck and now I have stage 4 liver cancer, to weak to even throw wrappers, I did train a lot of drivers in my time and did it right, most of them turned out to be good drivers, I love what you do, brings back many memories, my first truck was a sterling, have you ever heard 0f those? and every breed of truck after that, my last new truck was a 2006 W900 isx cummings and it lost two turbos in the first 3 years, I am so sorry for your loss, wish I could help but my cancer treatments are costing one million dollars, lucky I don't have to pay all of it, I retired for good in 2018, and when I say I love the smell of Deisel in the morning, I mean it, I live in Oregon and get see the trucks go by all day long, I truly hope you can get through this, It's heart breaking, anyway hang in there fellow driver,,,
As always a great video Tim looking forward to 2023 with you, I think you should paint the classic plum crazy it would be even better if all the fleet was the same color then people would see one of your trucks and say that's a Gentry and Sons truck.
Hell yeah brother 💪💪❤️❤️you’ve been selected for today’s giveaway exercise🎁🎁🎁🎁Dm the above number to claim prize ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝
I like your comment about going in the ditch. Not unless we intend to. Go for it
Really enjoy your channel. It reminds me of my much younger days driving a cab over frieghtliner with a 250 cummins and a 5 & 4 twin stick (I think - Maybe it was a 4 and 4) - a freaking nightmare to keep on the road. We were always fixing something. Also a R model mack with a 300 plus married to a 15 speed with double reduction and double dif lock. Off course a single window bunk for a guy who is 6'4" Double diff's work great, just do not expect to steer. That truck would only go 52 MPH but it would pull a mountain at 45 MPH
I did have the pleasure of driving a 62 White around the city of Halifax delivering steel when I was in university back in the mid 80's. Manual Steering, Tag Axle, 220 cummins(I think). As crazy as it sounds it was like driving a rally car every day and I loved it.
I drove the Mack on the ice roads in nothern Canada. Back then we just called it the bush - where the pavement ended and driving got serious. I had no idea it was considered a dangerous job until the TV show came out. Just a kid having fun.
I had to laugh at the little bit of snow that caused the mustang to slide off the road. Today here in Canada it was a warm 6 F with almost 1/4 " ice on the windshield. It took me 45 minutes to warm up the pick up just to go for a drive. The truck has not been out of 4 wheel drive for almost a month now. I guess its all about what you are used to and how you plan for your travel conditions.
I'm not sure I could drive a new truck today. I learned to drive by the sound of the trurbo, tourque range in gears and the temperuture of the exhaust. Not sure any of the younger drivers would even know what a pyrometer is.
Driver you couldn't drive a new truck these days. You would keep trying to use the clutch and end up smashing you left leg into the firewall. Lol. Nowadays buying a manual trans car lessons the chance of it getting stolen cause nobody can drive them lol. Take care and be safe out there and happy new year.
@@gregadomeit4020 When I quit driving trucks for pay I swore I would never have a standard transmission in a car/SUV/Pick up - Never have.
However, when I retired my brother and I got together and set up a shop to repair equipment. Our first purchase was a M2 that, for spome reason, we cannot put up for sale. We have serious discussions on who will drive it when some work comes out way. I swear, that is the best kept piece of equipment I have ever seen.
Smashing the left leg into the firewall reminds me of smashing my right leg into the steering wheel adjustment lever of the R model Mack when in the bush. I swear that will be the reason for a Knee Replacement in a few years.
Anyway Greg, be well and safe out there.
Art
@@artbrown6683 thanks for the reply Art. I drove a 30 ton R- model Mack heavy wrecker back in the day I know what you mean about steering wheel lever lol. It was a beauty of a wrecker just a bit rough on the bones. Made good money back then but I had to do everything myself. Now I see these towing channels on here and they send at least 1 or two extra guys to help to operator on wrecks or recoveries or whatever. Pulling axle shafts in 100° F or - 15F below 0° blizzard , dropping bumpers and all that stuff. They didn't have the under reach like they do now I just had a big round tow bar. Somedays i would sleep in my pick up for an hour before i drove to the house cause I got wore out doing that shit myself. You take care brother and be safe out there.
Greg
What an awesome video Mr Gentry
And damn you have a good New Year I hope it all down there and Tennessee has a very happy New Year be safe I hope things come out on the good side more more business for you
Marina Blue 1966 Corvette color. Thanks, I heard your dad mention the new windshield is ordered. "Good job". Making it better. Great you tube channel, I watch it often.
Thank you Mr Trooper!! God Bless you and Thank You!! Tim, back her down ol son!!
408 pm here in Christchurch New Zealand. Hey guys I love watching your you tube channel,Brax is doing awesome, keep it up young man, keep them coming,God Bless.
Awesome show buddy 👏🏻
Just clean up the classic and run it. Glad the cabover is running right. Love your videos Tim!
The cab over died
Great work on the rescues Tim, colour suggestion for the Classic, how about a deep purple?
i love it ,cracked windshields, driving 60 mph with small kids in the front seats [no seat belts] BUT: YOUR VIDEOS ARE AWESOME YOUR ALWAYS POSITIVE ;}}}
Good stuff as always. I've always had a thing for trucks, had an uncle that drove most of his life. It was always a treat when we went to visit and his cab over Kenworth was in the driveway. He'd always give me and my younger brother a walk through, explaining what did what and how things worked. Great time to be a kid in the mid 1970's. Paint that truck a dark gray metallic with some black and white highlights. Looking forward to seeing it finished no matter what color you decide. Stay safe out there.
Great video as always. What if you painted it a rootbeer color. That would look sweet . Glad you all had a great Christmas. Take care.
If your going to go all out I got an idea for ya!! You and your son come up with "The Gentry Paint Scheme." When people see it coming they do one of many things. 1) take there hat off and say Damn look at that Gentry truck. 2) make that paint scheme fog up people's glasses. Take there sunglasses off and say Damn look at that. 3) Last but most important. A paint scheme done with love and family involved.
Happy new year from the north west of England and god bless you and yours
Jay 👍
My last Pete was Radiant Fire Metallic Loved the color Got lots of compliments on it Its a deep red
Tim you should paint it Red White and Blue, like the American Flag. It's a beautiful classic XL. Watching from New Zealand
Thanks for your support ❤️❤️❤️❤️ you've been selected for today's giveaway exercise 🎁🎁🎁🎁Dm to claim prize ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
Tim Gentry, I'll drive that classic freightliner. Need a trucking job! I need to drive up there and talk to you. Not that far from you. I'm a big fan of the channel. Thanks keep up the great work.👍👍🙏God bless you and family.
Tim, what about a wrap? Would that be cheaper? Love the channel. You remind me how my Daddy was with me at Braxtons age. We had a 379 Pete, 3406E, 290WB, tanker yanker! Miss runnin with him. Drove several thousand miles as a kid with Daddy. He was confident enough that he’d nap as we drove (mostly night miles for me)! There’s been times I go to Flyin J just to see the truck traffic at age 52. Love ya guys and safe travels. Tell your brother thanks for his service!

Totally cool officer! Hats off to your country....
Then go crazy with it nice bumper nice visors nice stacks Lawrence tune polish wheels and the whole works
Being from up north. I enjoy nothing more than pulling folks when nasty snow hits
I love the blue mood lights!
up here in buffalo, we laugh at u guys but we are busy with the blizzard
all your trucks need those APUs so that they can be warm instead of cold starts.. FSC has been getting his truck started so much easier with that Green APU on it..
Your next shirt needs to be "450 horses give or take a hunerd or two"😀😀
nice door panels , wowoooo almost done/ilove it
AS YOU SHOULD EXSPECT FROM THE COMMENTS ...YOU HAVE A DUSTING THERE TENNESSE ....frozen say what ééélets talk canada cold ..when i truck to your area i take my jacket off to tarp or untarp..you guys got it made.....happy new year ...GET THE FFFFFFF...TO WORK......
Freightliner Blue would look good. I'd keep the cab extenders on to balance the look . Enjoy the content, please keep it coming.
Your brother seems like a really nice guy
This thing always looked too good to happen, you should’ve kept the reliable gold w900 wagon.
Love you guy's keep it up
Enjoyed the video Tim
Dark black diamond to light paint to true burnt orange scheme. Burned orange with ting of black, wild ride. My pete was that color with custom black rims and short 4 in pipes that was also blacked out . My interior was done in black and orange diamond.Had that done in Mexico It was the eye turners of Trucks like mine was in the 80s.Love your videos.
How are you making out medical Tim???????.
I enjoyed very much thank you for sharing
That 6.7 powerstroke sounds awesome
Keep it the way it is , don't make the guy feel bad having to let his truck go
Plum crazy. Great color
Give it (the Classic XL) a dark blue paint job as it appears to be now, perhaps silver on the fenders….a good cleanup and polish on the aluminum, put it on the road. Definitely watch the pressure on that foot feed….revenuers usually aren’t as considerate. Glad you have the Binder cabover sorted out….
Another great video Tim 💪🏻💪🏻👍
Hell yeah brother 💪💪❤️❤️you’ve been selected for today’s giveaway exercise🎁🎁🎁🎁Dm the above number to claim prize ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝

Company I worked for had a toggle switch on all the gear shifts of the trucks for the on/off of the jake, just ran a wire from the dash and back so only needed one toggle switch.
Tim and Brax doing good deeds saving them people s wrecker bill
8 inch stacks, visor with bullet lights on visor and side lights and darkish burgundy, would be beautiful!
Love the smell of diesel in the morning!!
After that video the other day you might want to check the heater core in that Peterbilt to find out if it's working right. Don't want to be freezing to death in the middle of Montana or somewhere like that.
Excelente video hermano
I'd say ether paint the classic a deep royal purple or pick a color you don't have much of if any in the fleet. You got to have a colorful fleet. It stands out from the big fleets that all are the same color as each other because they have one trademarked color that has to be kept to for branding.
cool patrol officer, fld sounds good too
Yea definitely ship the classic out let it put some money in the piggy bank, then what I thank would be the CATS Meow, is do a twin to the red & black classic that would be Awesome!!!
Tim, my 2 cents would be a Antimatter Blue with Red striping.
I tried to race a pete that wasn't pulling a trailer after coming out of the mc,henry tunnel . It pulled away like i was standing still . Amazing power .
That truck would look so Kool purple with a lot of chrome and new aluminum wheels. Be a bad looking truck
More cracked windshields a few videos ago he said that he was going to replacing them. He should have gave you a ticket for the windshield.
As you flip some of these trucks I would start painting your fleet split between Black and White good guys and bad guys.
I could probably drive it. 🤣🤣🤣. Let me pull up outta the way. 🤙🏼🤙🏼 go ahead driver
Omaha orange.. You already have light green and you have a yellow.. Adding a nice orange would be awesome
