    i developed crps by a knife injury to my hand from work. i couldnt have done this without my current lawyer. She wasnt going to take my case but she told me when i told her the doctors thought it was CRPS she decided to take my case and she had dealt with crps cases before thank god! HONESTLY, IF ANYONE GETS CRPS AND HAS THE OPTION TO HIRE A LAWYER, DO IT because CRPS changes everything and a lawyer can really help get you benefits rather than going through it yourself

    "Nobody knows what it is so you Google it" that's absolutely right, I got diagnosed and had to go home and figure out what it is. The orthopedic surgeon that diagnosed me with it said he had it in his foot and it's really nothing. Except it's not nothing, not even close.

      Diagnosed with CRPS from work injury after being in a sling for almost a year I was forced into work aginst my doctor orders by my employer forced into work conditioning and work hardening for several days straight where I was more or less forced to do things that even when I was begging to stop. I was more or less tortured in front of all the people at the rehab facility and told “ if you don’t do what we tell you we will report this to workers comp that you are not complying and they will stop paying you” as they smiled I was crying out in pain. I went the next day to the doc and explained that I felt their was somthing really wrong and they needed to check it they did an mri that showed a labrum tear in the shoulder. I had shoulder surgery several months later but I never got better but have only progressively gotten worse

      @@tiffany8423 I hear ya. My Biceps was severed for almost a year before I could get it reattached in a different spot. It happened at work, but they wouldn't send me home. They got me to sit in a chair in an onsite office for 4 months, until they "deemed" me good to go back to pre-accident level, way before my operation even. But that "deeming" allowed the company to legally lay me off. Long story short I ended up selling everything I owned and still ended up losing my house 5 years into a battle with WCB with zero income and things can get pretty dark as you probably know. I'm doing good today though, and I hope that you're having a good day as well. I hope I hear back from you, to see how you're doing? Take care.

    Fell out of a u haul truck. Went from being a runner to now unable to to walk but a couple hundred feet here and there. Injured my right foot and took 6months to get a diagnoses. Reason I wash to sue u haul is because the truck I was getting in did not have enough steps for me to get up in the truck. Done nerve blocks and even getting my nerves heated and that all stopped working. Now may get a spinal cord simulator. I hope it helps but due to this stupid covid19 now everything is now on hold 😫🥵😫😡

    My Ulnar Head was Removed and I developed “RSDS” and now I’m Permanently Disabled

  • @gregbisesi9966
    @gregbisesi9966 4 роки тому +5

    Here’s “what strikes me” is that attorneys don’t want medical malpractice cases. Especially if it’s not going to be a big money case. They don’t know much about CRPS, they cite TORT laws not on victims side and where’s your permanent disability? After 3 interviews, One lawyer that agreed to look into our case and took 8 months for discovery, then didn’t take the case. By that time we were almost to the 2 year statute of limitations. The attorney did not take it because of TORT laws and no permanent disability. Well 6 months later we had a permanent disability, my wife had to have a toe amputated because of the botched surgery that caused the CRPS and the severe neuropathy and subsequent deformity of the toe that she could not walk on it.
    People who have this disease are screwed. There’s no curative medication available here only sorry ass attempts to treat pain. And the law is not on our side in respect to the the debilitating time frame this disease takes to disable you and lack of understanding of the disease that technically has no cure, and the long term injury it causes.
    We are the small number of lucky ones and my wife has beaten the disease thanks to medications available in Europe and other healing modalities here that we’ve spent thousands upon thousands of dollars out of pocket. Instead of getting compensation, we get a worthless, I’m sorry we’re not taking your case form letter.

    • @serinadelmar6012
      @serinadelmar6012 4 роки тому +2

      Greg Bisesi May I ask what medications in Europe your wife took? So sorry that happened to her and you, as it cannot help but affect you too. My own case was a drunk driver, it’s now full body, many years in but would be interested and anything that might help. I think you articulated it perfectly, it is so rapid, and the nervous system changes so swift Yet awareness and knowledge so lacking people become disabled and debilitated losing all quality-of-life while lawyers do so little to help, in fact in my case made it worse than the doctors. This guy just advised to get angry at the disease?! I think I’d rather be proactive like you and your wife did. Wishing you both well. Give her a gentle hug from a fellow warrior.

      Serena we just finished Neridronate infusions in Genoa and Wendy is feeling great already. This is her second round. She had a dose last year in Verona Italy.
      We think this one should get her into remission. Yes I think even though you’ve had CRPS for a while that bisphosphonate treatment would still help.
      If you’re interested in contacting our physician in Genoa I can give you a contact email and he is very good at answering his emails if you would like to consult him as to any benefit you could achieve with Neridronate. I would be happy to give you any information you want. The Genoa treatment was $4,500 flat fee. You do all your flight lodging etc. I can also give u a contact to the Verona facility but it’s 3x more expensive, but everything is covered along with a healthcare manager to drive and translate.
      We also talked our pain clinic physician back in March to do a round of Pamidronate. It wasn’t the magic bullet like the Neridronate but it did enable her to get off 1,200 mg of Gabapentin. Insurance covered just about all the Pamidronate infusions. I can give you the contact info for our pain clinic Doc. You won’t find many physicians to administer Pamidronate but our pain management doctor is very progressive and likes to do think out side of the box.
      We are also happy to share the story our journey with this hideous disease. Anything we can do to help, please ask us.
      God bless,
      Greg & Wendy

      Greg Bisesi Greg and Wendy, thank you both so much. Reading that and knowing that it’s helping is just so wonderful, I have tears reading this(happy ones), what a journey you’ve been on. I’m crossing everything for your full remission. I think CRPS is so far beyond normal understanding, that creates barriers too as unless you’re right by your loved one or experiencing it yourself, it’s so hard for people to grasp, and in turn hard for us to explain, especially when it is so unexplainable. Your story brings hope! I would be honoured and so grateful for that physician’s email address, thank you. I agree it would be best to do it independently, especially given the difference in price but I will see what he says. Thank you for giving hope, that means so much. Wishing you both all the best for the future and a joyful returning to the living part of life!

All 3 have gone to Italy and are in varied stages of improvement.
      Feel free to use my email and I’ll give you Dr Giusti’s email in Genoa. He’s wonderful, speaks and writes very well in English and is great about responding to emails. Unlike others I attempted to contact in Italy with no response. Actually I was given Dr Giusti’s email by one of my UA-cam CRPS friends.

    I tore my ligament almost two years ago at a public park. I've now been finally diagnosed with CRPS after absolute Hell. The hole in the ground was overgrown with grass and was not seeable. At first, I wanted to go after my doctors as well. They legitimately left me with no care for almost a year. I was dismissed, told "it shouldn't be hurting", just put ice on it, we'll get to it after the surgery, just basically bumped from doctor to doctor, and left to suffer. When you see a picture of me on 2019 and now, it's two totally different people. I'm unable to walk at this point.
    Do I have a case against the city or my surgeon and/or doctors? Every bit of care I've finally now received have only made things worse. My life has been devastated and stolen from me. I'd like to speak to someone if possible. I live in Texas.

    • @particularbored6072
      @particularbored6072 3 роки тому +1

      I'd like to add, after getting to the end of the video, that all my care has been dictated to me and I've even had options removed. I'm hoping, even though this is an older video, someone can direct me on what to do from here. I "shouldn't" have suffered as I have. All I needed was one doctor to actually listen to me. The only time that's happened is when I got my diagnosis.

      @@alicehallam8247 Sorry to hear your story as well. Never in my life would I have imagined people suffered this greatly in pain. I'm baffled by the lack of care we have here.
      The hole was there, I'm not entirely sure what made it but it was a big one, and when they mowed, they clearly went around it and left the grass high there. At night, there's literally no way to see it then, even with the park lights. My girlfriend and I were just trying to go to the bathroom. After my injury; we tried putting a board to cover the hole, also to keep others from getting hurt. We returned to see it removed, grassy hole left as it was...not filled in or cut so it was visible; it's lazy and irresponsible. 🤦🏻‍♂️ Idk if anyone else was hurt by it but it's worth looking into. I've quickly learned how much more difficult life is made for chronic, intense pain sufferers. Bc of how I look now bc I can't care for myself, I immediately get taken as some pill addict; even with me presenting all the symptoms of CRPS...including *clearly* atrophied legs, random swelling, discoloration, *INTENSE* pain. After a few failed treatments, and listening to Dr. Pradeep speaking about how the spinal cord stimulator possibly causing a worsening of symptoms, I declined to go with it. There's so much more, and I really should speak with an attorney about it all. And definitely have one that can help me with my rights as a patient under the law. Definitely left in the dark on that one.
      I wish you wellness and healing btw. I hate suffering and I'm sorry for yours.

I’m 41 but I have hope - I don’t know what for as in I don’t know exactly what I’m hoping for, I guess I’m hoping that they will stumble upon a better treatment then 3mnthly ketamine infusions that only somewhat help. Yes my biggest problem is pain but I would now say equally its temperature. It can be equal to hundreddegreesFahrenheit/40°C and I can be boiling hot but shivering. In fact these days as in the past five or 10 years it would be more uncommon if my body wasn’t doing that. Considering this condition has been around since the Civil War in America - sadly my belief is it will take some very well known people to be struck down with it for there to be a lot more research. Ketamine acts on your opioid receptors minimally but NDMA receptor antagonists relieve my pain more than anything and ketamine with cannabis THC+CBD is almost consistently as effective at relieving my pain as most opioids. Dxm isn't as enjoyable it can give me a little more anxiety but it is probably a better choice for most normal people drugs don't affect me cognitively much DXM doesn't build as much a tolerance I think and has a much more noticeable pain reduction without requiring actually feeling medicated
